As the city that brought paella to the world, Valencia is a culinary delight. Don't miss out on sipping fresh, local orange juice or enjoying tasty tapas in a sidewalk café.
Wandering this relaxed city is like taking a walk through history. From the Roman remains in the archaeological museum to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the architecture ranges from the dramatic to the sublime. A mix of styles from the outside, medieval Valencia Cathedral comes into its own inside. The gilt carvings and vibrantly-painted dome are a sight to behold.
The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.
Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75,000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.
As Spain’s 3rd largest city, Valencia has wild nightlife, so if that’s your cup of tea, city center hostels are a great choice. Alternatively, Booking.com also has guesthouses, central apartments and even hotels near Valencia Airport.

Valencia is a beautiful city with stunning views, history restaurants and bars. I felt completely safe walking travelling alone and staying for four days. People are very helpful. Beautiful shops, food markets, cathedrals. Very short taxi ride from airport which cost no more then 25 euros.
Small markets selling everything you could wish to buy. Food market is stunning to walk around and taste local food, spices and fruit.
If I could I would move here...

We loved the old town, the town hall, the central market and the Cathedral. Also the Church of St. Nicholas was fantastic. We had 2 days in the city of arts and sciences, to see the museum of sciences and the oceanografic. We could definitely have spent more time in both than we had available.

A beautiful City, full of culture, superb architecture and fine cuisine. You never have to walk far to find a high quality restaurant. None of the establishments we frequented were more than a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel. I’d particularly recommend Dodo, Puerto del Mar, Espurnes and Secret.

It’s a lovely city, architecture stunning. Enjoyed the hop on hop off city bus tour. Had to walk a fair distance through run down areas before we got to the better part of the old town. Didn’t have time to visit the aquarium - a must for our next visit.

The beach, promenade and restaurants and the city were all good but if you got a taxi you need to ask how much as they differ quite a lot and all busses are 1-50 euro a trip no matter how long. make sure you book tthe right accomadation.

Loved hiring bikes to get around.
Loved hiring bikes to get around. The cycle infrastructure is brilliant.
Parc Gulliver was a hit with the kids
Turia gardens are lovely
Public transport very cheap (40 cents per journey with a SUMA-10 travel card) and plentiful
The old town was atmospheric without being twee
Felt like a less tourist-choked version of Barcelona
We ate paella at La Paz at Playa de las Arenas - very tasty
We enjoyed our stay in the hotel a lot. This is a hotel which truly deserves the name ‘boutique hotel’. Very nice interior, small but very nice, staff is very friendly and extremely engaged and committed to make our stay very special. The breakfast was really nice, food very good and the orange juice phenomenal. We also had dinner there once and also enjoyed the food and the cocktails. If we come back to Valencia, we would stay again here. Location is great in the middle of old town.
Hotel Kramer thought of everything including a toothbrush. They had an on-site restaurant and the best breakfast we’ve had in Spain. The staff were friendly, and met requests within seconds including printing train tickets, and arranging an early morning cab. The staff spoke excellent English which was welcome( 3 months of Duo Lingo has its limits). The location was within walking distance of the Old City and all the sights we wanted to see
Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice view of the park & the Cuidad de las Artes y de las Ciencias. Located in a beautiful & quiet area within walking distance to various dining options & El Corte Ingles. Large windows. Modern glass-walled shower area. Complete toiletry essentials. Microwave, small kitchen & dining area. Lucky for us, street parking in front of hotel was free & available. We enjoyed our stay at Secrotel Valencia Alameda.
We booked two nights but at separate times, I had not realised the 2nd night would be a shared bathroom, I had not read it correctly, the hotel was fully booked so nothing to be done, however on re checking in for our 2nd night the very lovely owner had managed to sort out a room with a bathroom for us, this really made our day. Can't thank him enough, the hotel.is budget and basic but it's also cheap for the location , would stay again
Just a great hotel with cheap parking, one or 2 good cheap eating places very close, superb soundproofing to the street and kind staff. I would only suggest a blanket in the cupboard in case you feel cold (saves on putting the airon on all night!) I appreciate the eco gesture of only cleaning towels every 3 days but that blanket would also save on electricity.
Parking location was accessible directly from the Hotel and provided a secure garage for our car. Not cheap, but worth it.
Terrace rooftop bar was a great getaway spot in the evening and the limited menu was surprisingly good. The breakfast buffet is impressive but pricey if you only lean towards a small, continental type of breakfast like we do.
A 5 star boutique hotel where all the staff want to give their guests an amazing customer experience. Right in the heart of the old town the location is amazing, the food is excellent and the bedrooms really comfortable. The hotel has a roof top bar where you can sample the signature cocktails and watch the sun set. Cant want to go back.
Wonderful boutique hotel with beautifully light neutral rooms and exceptionally comfortable beds.
Wonderful views and great toiletries. Superbe breakfast and a reception that could not have been more welcoming and helpful. A stroll to all the old town has to offer and a short walk to uber cool Russafa.
Highly recommended.
Me and my boyfriend are first time to visit Valencia and this hotel. The receptionist team is very accommodating. The room that we stayed in had a really good wide bed and the view of the window was really amazing. And most of all , we enjoyed using their facilities.. We will come back here again. ❤️🥰
Breakfast was nice but it was mainly sweet pastries though. Location wasn’t bad it isn’t in the city centre but trains are very easy to navigate and it’s only about 5 stops from everything. 72 hour travel pass is 13 euros so it is cheaper to stay in this hotel and travel.
This was by far the best hostel I stayed at in Spain! Friendly and helpful staff, clean, nice kitchen, good social area, discounts for bike rentals, free community meal, free drink… Met a lot of cool people here as the vibe is awesome. It’s also cheap to stay at.
Quiet in room. Good walking distance from center for us. Parking available as you DO NOT want to park on the street in Spain ( almost all the cars parked on the street seemed dented street side) Easy access to main highway.
Very kind staff, excellent location on the beach, metro very near, many restaurants and bars on the other side of hotel (it can be noisy at night). Coffee and wending machine in the lobby.
Staff were friendly, efficient and did everything to make our stay pleasant.
It's a super location and Valencia is a fantastic city.
Would recommend the hotel except don't book room 207.
Everything as described, and furniture conditions are relatively good in comparison with average situation in Spain. Helpful staff, self-checkin and checkout available. Good choice!
Perfect central location, clean and modern room, functional design, and the best service in Spain! It was also great value with a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.
