The location was great, next to Plaza Catalunya, Rambla and all the life in Barcelona. The rooms were nice and big with an interesting bathroom that had no door. The breakfast was very good. The staff was bored and not interest in solving our little problems. It was cold in the room because the heating system was not working and during three days it stayed like that. We asked a few times for a blanket before they give it to us. We had a late check out 14.00 but at 12.00 the door from our room was blocked. No one bothered to check before. However we had a great time in Barcelona, the city is great!

City centre location, good service. Friendly helpful staff. Our basic Basic double room was tiny. We are mature couple traveling with group of friends. Iwas responsible for booking the rooms. We discovered after check in that the basic double room was minute it may have been a queen sized bed but it took up all the floor space. Those of our group who had twin rooms had large rooms some even had balconies. No space nor facility to put your suitcase down except on the bed. We put our empy suitcases in the bathroom under basin. The bathroom was seperated from the sleeping area by a see through glass partition--no privacy whatever. So, I would recomend this hotel but ifyou are a couple please book a twin room. After all you can still claim visiting rights!!.

Central hotel. Friendly welcome Room was even for a single room very small. No views at all. Looking over 1.5 m2 patio. Not very clean. Wake up service forgot to wake me up. Almost missed the plane.

Location was great, just a 2 minute walk from Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas. We got a good deal with the romantic package so for Barcelona I would say good value for money. The Air Conditioning in our room didn't seem to be working and even though we stayed in February and it was cold outside, the room was extremely hot!

The thing called single room is very small (14m) and not comfortable!. Single business traveler need a place to put his laptop, his coat ( in the winter) his bag etc. No real place for anything. It is just a sleep and shower room.

Great staff who were very helpful and friendly. When my boyfriend and I arrived and went to check-in, we learned that there was an issue with our credit card company, and the reservation was never actually made. We thought we were screwed, especially when he informed us that they didn't have any rooms available that night. Luckily, he helped us find a room at another one of the h10 hotels in the area, at the same price for our first night. Then he proceeded to book the room we thought we reserved at h10 Universitat for the remainder of the week. He honored the price we were quoted, and he even claimed to upgrade us to a nicer room. I'm not sure if that was true or not, but we were very happy with the room we were given. It seemed to be one of the few rooms with an outdoor patio area. It consisted of a little deck, with patio table and 2 chairs and umbrella. It was nice :) It was a very nice hotel, and perfect location, with literally just a short 2 minute walk to Plaza Catalunya.

I stayed for 1 night. The double room was ok! With space, nice bed and bathroom and it was also clean and quiet. Also perfect location! It was very close to placa catalynia - the metro station, 5 minutes from la Rambla and also with shops and cafes next to the hotel. Plus I got the room at 8 o clock in the morning so I hadn't lost time waiting for check-in. The stuff was friendly, it helped a lot! Sure I'll go back one day!!! I paid 75 euros which is ok but without breakfast... It didn't matter cause next to the hotel you can find Starbucks Coffee and Farggi. Both have coffee and something to eat for breakfast. Even though I think that 75 euros should include breakfast ( it costs 13 euros!! If it's not included to the price...)

Nice staff, excellent cleaning personal. The size of the single rooms is ridiculous, they are shoe boxes. The doors have zero noise reduction capacity, if someone says anything outside, it's like he was in your room. Otherwise clean hotel, but not 4 stars at all. If it were not special priced, I would never book it.

I like the hotel staff , they were very friendly ,polite ,helpful and the most interesting thing is that they speak multi language. The cleanliness of the hotel I like so much and also the breakfast buttet I enjoyed it alot . It was really rich . I like the location of the hotel as it was convenient and very handy. I would recommend it to my friends and if I come back to Barcelona I will stay in it even thought the rooms were very small that I didn't like much. Thank you for all the staff who were really kind and helpful .

Very comfortable, really clean, modern up to date rooms. Bathroom glass wall/door, very little privacy. Actual door of room would not close properly unless banged shut 4 or 5 times (room411) breakfast was not keot topped up so often stuff was nearly gone, went down 9.30/10!

The welcome gift I had in my room (a funtastic desert). The room was good, well equipped and the hotel has a great location. I stayed in the 1st floor, so I could "feel" the subway passing under the hotel! Nothing big, but it's possible to feel the vibrations on the floor.
