Location and stunning view if you get the beach view. If you get a backside view, you are basically on the road and can hear every single car and truck passing by.

The place it's in a phenomenal location, everything you need is within 5 min walking distance. There's also parking at the facility and a public parking space nearby. The host went above and beyond and went out of his way to make my stay very pleasant. This is truely a hidden gem.

A lovely coastal working town with a large choice of excellent restaurants, coffee shops and bars. There is a market every Wednesday and Saturday and small stalls in the town during high season. We enjoy long walks along the boardwalk which has numerous places to stop for refreshments and admire beautiful beaches and sea views. Easy access to bus routes to Marbella or Fuengirola. Great facilities for all ages.

Mijas is so beautiful.
Mijas is so beautiful. The beach is lovely the restaurants are lovely and the outside bars are lovely too. We ate at El Olivo and that was a fantastic restaurant. We also ate at Johnny’s and the food and service was so good. There is also a little cafe near the hotel called Sensi Pino Cafe and the tapas were only 2.50 euros for a small plate and the wine was 3 euros. This was a fabulous find but shuts at 4pm. Fantastic value and excellent service. We will definitely be returning

We visited La Cala de Mijas in March so it was fairly quiet and the bars and restaurants closed quite early. It’s a pretty resort with quaint streets and not built up like neighbouring Fuengirola. The sea front is picturesque with an excellent beach. There are some lovely restaurants, we particularly liked Figaro and Bsweet, an excellent bakery, good for breakfast. The resort is well situated and not far from Marbella and Benalmádena, both accessible by bus or taxi.

Nice beach, good restaurants and children playgrounds available. Good starting point to 1 day trips like Granada, Ronda or Tarifa. Many shops. It is really recommended to visit Pueblo Mijas which is nearby - small white village in the mountains with beautiful narrow streets and many craft shops

I have always loved La Cala for its location, 30 mins from the airport and a quiet spanish village that is close to the busy bustling areas of Benalmadena or Puerto Banus should you wish to travel to them. Fantastic beaches and the boardwalk that runs down to cabopino is a lovely walk with bard and restaurants along the way.

Comfortable, clean, waterfront property. Staff were helpful and responsive. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Deck felt private, had nice lounge chairs, an umbrella and a view of the water. Happy hour serves huge drinks. There is a wonderful boardwalk in front of the hotel that follows the ocean. You can cross the hwy on a pedway out front that takes you to a couple restaurants and a Lidl store.
Lovely and clean accommodation in an excellent location! So close to the beach, supermarkets and restaurants! We stayed for 9 nights and were very comfortable. Very easy to get to and João was very helpful when he met us. La Cala de Mijas is a lovely town and has excellent public transport to other towns in the area.
This was our second stay and again the hotel was very good. We stayed for La Cala de Mijas festival as the hotel is around a 30 minute walk from the festival site. Staff very helpful and arranged taxi airport transfers. Beach is only a few minutes walk away and lots of choice for bars/restaurants close by.
Everything was satisfactory.. Reception, restaurant and hotel staff were all friendly with special mention of the Activity organizer, Curro, who did something for everyone each day, from Spanish lessons, Wine tasting, leisurely walks, and trips to nearby towns. We will be back again!
The apartment was bright and clean and was the perfect location for the beach and restaurants. Eli was very helpful and explained everything on our arrival. The first time we had been to La Cala de Mijas - it was a fabulous holiday made all the more enjoyable with Eli's assistance.
I have been to La Cala de Mijas on many occasions but this property was exceptional - it was wow …!!

Apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. Really liked it. Both indoor and outdoor pool were really nice. Onsite restaurant was nice with menu accommodating the British travellers.
A fabulous location (10 minutes walk from La Cala de Mijas) and a perfect comfortable studio for a couple (plus dog). Great surrounds for walking the dog. Good restaurants nearby.

Great TV
Wonderful Location and sea view!
Excellent pool for kids and chilling
Breakfast and dinner were perfect when the hotel was full.. later was nice too
The hotel is in a very central location in La Cala de Mijas. It has a great location by the beach and there are many restaurants, shops, etc within easy walking distrance.
This hotel is lovely for a short break. Be prepared to have to walk 25 minutes to any shop, supermarket, restaurant. Right next to the beach. Views were gorgeous.
