A vibrant Costa Brava resort at the foot of mountains, Lloret de Mar has fabulous beaches and plenty to do for all ages. Carrer de Sant Pere leading inland from the beach has lots of international brands shopping and exclusive jewellers. The town also has excellent nightlife, with a wealth of restaurants, bars and one of the Costa Brava’s biggest casinos.
For a taste of culture, the Verdaguer Centre has relics from the Iberian settlement of Puig de Castellet dating to 250 BC.
Just north is Water World, one of Europe’s biggest waterparks, while offshore watersports include diving, snorkelling and sea kayaking. Lloret de Mar also offers go-karts and a few golf courses.
In the center of town are Booking.com’s selection of guest houses, apartments and hotels with pools, while high-rise Lloret de Mar hotels face the town’s 2 beaches – Fenals and Lloret. The latter has a long, tree-lined promenade ending at one of the craggy coves typical of this coastline. The walk up to the cliffs is worth it for the views over the town and Mediterranean Sea.
As Lloret de Mar is only around a 30 minute drive from Girona Airport, it’s not long before you can dip your toes in the water.

The areas is a little run down, the beach is expensive to park, and if you hire a car like we did good luck putting it somewhere.
Yes there are parking areas but its £33 a day.
We found a secret car park that was free off season.
You can park on the road if there are no lines
Not a lot to do in the area and not a lot advertised (like go karting and water park we found as we left).
Overall its got a nice beach a but parking and bars are expensive on the front (uk prices).
I wont go back, no point, seen it all and the streets are not worth walking twice.
Weather wise, its north spain so expect it to be hot one day cloudy by 4pm, we had two days raining as its May, when costa del sol is 27 and pure sun.
Good though its only 2 hours
Barcelona worth the visit as its massive, but not the beaches.

Lloret de Mar was a lovely place but as we stayed at the end...
Lloret de Mar was a lovely place but as we stayed at the end of April the water park was not open , the weather wasn’t great for days on the beach either, even if the weather was good the sand on the beach was very gritty so it made it very painful to walk on. We went as a couple in our early 50’s , we were unable to find entertainment at night so would have been worse with children, it’s definitely a place for younger ones to party at night

The small town surely has its own charm for certain groups of people, but probably not for families with small children, the beach is not clean, the sand is too rough for kids to play with, and the waves are too strong for swimming, which are very disappointing for my toddler. We did enjoy the hiking path along the coastline though, which was unexpected in my trip planning.

Lloret seems to be quite a sleepy seaside town with not much...
Lloret seems to be quite a sleepy seaside town with not much going on except the beach, but that was fine as that was all we wanted. There were lots of pubs and nightclubs around but 99% seemed to be closed. Again, this was great for us as we dislike that kind of thing! If you want to go for a jog on the beach, or a coastal walk or simply sit on the balcony and be mesmerised by the constantly changing sea view, this place is for you. I had hoped that I would find more Catalan speakers, as I am learning this language. All the shops and signposts are in Catalan, but most people speak Castillian Spanish.
A wonderfully relaxing winter sun holiday for those who want to escape Christmas capitalist overkill.

Very busy shops. Streets are really dirty and smelly!
Very busy shops. Streets are really dirty and smelly! Smell like urine and drains.
We also got lost ALOT and ended up walking in dodgy back streets. No signage and constantly on Google maps.
Highlight of the trip was a fantastic steak house down the main high street.
Drinks not as cheap as you would imagine for Spain!
Everything about this room was exceptional. The bed, the bathroom, the deck, all the amenities. It was more luxurious than I expected. Not to mention the bottle of Cava and delicious cookies for our 30th Anniversary! Courteous 5 star staff!
We enjoyed the private beach and the water treatment at the Spa. And a romantic and delicious dinner at 58.
And the view from our Ocean front room? Like a scene from movie. Breathtaking.
This hotel was the perfect ending to our Spain trip!
The best location you can get in Lloret de Mar, by the sea, with a beautiful view from the balcony and living room, and everything is near. The apartment was clean and very practical for our family of 4 persons, enough space for everybody. The host was kind to come and meet us in the apartment when we arrived so that we didn't have to travel to get the key from their office, which is quite far away. WiFi was good, which was important especially for the young ones.
From booking the hotel until arrival didnt think it could be as good as it looked and it was even better couldn't fault it value for money and more I'd recommend for any one visiting Lloret de Mar to stay here. Staff where exemplary from start to finish very friendly helpful for any thing that was required. A great touch to the hotel to top it all off was the roof top bar and pool which is adult only aswell. Best hotel I've stayed in.
The hotel has a good location, near the beach, two swimming pools ( I didn’t use them, prefer the sea). it can be a little bit noisy in the evening, but it wasn’t a problem for me. You have all the toiletries (shampoo, soap, shower gel, toothpaste and toothbrush). It was clean. The food was pretty good and you have a big variety of everything there.
You can leave your luggage there if you have late checkout or early check-in.
From start to finish we had a fab few days. Sergi was so lovely and very helpful. Our apt was lovely, comfortable beds and spotless clean. Sergi was on the other end of phone day or night if we needed to know anything. Location very close to fenals beach and a beautiful cliff walk to the main strip. Would highly recommend the location and apt. Will def go bk to lloret de mar again☀️❤️
The only thing I liked is the swimmingpool and sauna. The terrace is nice to relax and to sunbathe.
Lloret de Mar is nice.
The hotel is only a few minutes walking to the beach and outside the hotel there are lots of restaurants, shops and everything. Location is very close to the bus station connected to Girona airport, Barcelona and other locations.
The location was very good, close to the beach. Some of the staff was kind and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Naty, the cleaning lady on our 6th floor, she is amazing at doing her job, hardworking and always smiling. When she was not on duty and there were other ladies you could tell it wasn't her. Restaurant staff nice too.
The hotel was immaculate. The staff went above and beyond to help me and my partner who was in a powered wheelchair. The housekeeping staff kept the rooms spotless and were very helpful when needed. I could not praise this beautiful hotel anymore. We had a fabulous week away. The hotel is ideal for all activities in Lloret de mar.
Actually Dosjoimi apartments were closed for maintenance but they contacted me saying they would upgrade me to Bolera park or would allow me to cancel and get my money back, so i opted for Bolera park which was excellent , great location between Lloret De Mar beach and Fenals beach and has a great pool and elevator :)
Property was modern and clean. good value for money. walking distance to restaurants, bars and the beach.
hotel was majority younger guests. I’m guessing early 20s, so if that’s not your vibe maybe not the hotel for you. we didn’t really hear much noise. although the hotel was busy.
Very helpful staff
This hotel's location is unbeatable, right in the city's party center, with five clubs, numerous bars, and supermarkets just a one-minute walk away.
The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of choices, including delicious local cuisine
Beautiful hotel in a relaxed area. The beach is 5 minutes walking. City center is a bit far away (walking), but I enjoy being in a quiet area. There are good restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was great! Comfortable beds. Would definitely come back.
Location is near about center , but not so comfortable to go to the beach .Hotel is very old and i think is more 3 stars then 4 . In some rooms smell very bad , we change some times rooms .Very bad experince
Location (Lloret de Mar) is very beautiful and exceptionally clean. Hotel itself is really worth every Euro. Breakfast of high quality. Staff helpful to every detail on a 24-hour basis.
Roof top pools are AMAZING. Lovely airy hotel. Great breakfast brunch. Very close to the beach. Nice open room, well decorated and very comfortable bed.
