Boulazac has commercial trading estates which are useful for accessing supermarkets and petrol stations but not for tourists unless the accommodation is found on the outskirts where there are quiet and tranquil residential areas and semi-rural locations to be enjoyed. It is, however, very close to Perigueux with its tourist attractions and gastronomic cuisine. The reception area and lounge were superb. Sadly we had dinner planner otherwise we would have eaten here - but we were offered an amuse bouche with drinks which were great.
