Location is very close to the piste. Room was simple, but well maintained and clean. Breakfast and dinner were good. Proximity to the bus stops was also very good.

First, the staff was SOOOO helpful and welcoming. The location was amazing - we literally skied down to the lift and then right back to the hotel at the end of the day.
There are 5 different "neighborhoods" to stay in at Tinges. This is the top neighborhood, and closest to the funicular that takes you to the tippy top. It is an active neighborhood that has fun bars and nightclubs. I would highly recommend it.
Breakfast was lovely.
There were a ton of restaurants nearby that provided a ton of different options.

Not much to do on days when skiing is difficult due to the weather.
Pool and wellness centre are very nice, but get busy on days when the weather is bad.

I live in Whistler Creekside and ski 100+ days per year here. Compared to Tignes/ Val D'Isere; Whistler is a fart in a wind-storm; as the Scale is off the charts! This place rocks for an expert skier like me. Also: Excellent foods prepared by someone who cares! Compared to what Vail charges here for lifts and food; We are getting burned. My favourite photo here: from up some funky poma-lift from Val Claret looking across to the Tufts lift: My blue-sky boot-top-pow warm-up run down to the kilometer vertical of the Grande Motte funicular... ha! It is fun to be an expert with Fifty 100+-day seasons. I skied with three Swedes I met and All had FIS national or World Cup races in their history. We Rocked !

the shuttle bus is a very good service around tignes.
the shuttle bus is a very good service around tignes. However shuttles to and from Val disere are sparse and over crowded. The views from the glacier are exceptional and the resort is very well run by the pisteurs etc. For experienced advanced and intermediate skiers this resort is fantastic. for beginners planning a route is a must.

Tignes was a great resort.
Tignes was a great resort. Everything was within walking distance of our apartment but there was an also a great free bus service.
We loved the restaurant La Julietta - the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was great. We ate there twice.
We wanted to eat at The Brasserie L’Alpin and went in on the off chance one evening to ask if they had any availability. There were empty tables (it was about 8.30pm) but we were told they were full in quite a rude manner. I did them email the next day to ask if we could make a booking for later in the week but were told that they were full every night but they could do the following week. This felt slightly more friendly than the in person encounter but as we were leaving at the end of the week, it wasn’t any use to us.
The skiing was great. We were there in half term and it was so quiet on the slopes. We were able to ski straight onto most lifts, or had less than a 2 minute queue time. The busiest one was Le Grattalu heading back at the end of the day and even that was less than 10 minutes. We’ve been to other places where we’ve queued for 40 minutes to get on lifts!
There were plenty of runs for all levels and the snow was good. We will definitely go back to Tignes.

This is an amazing place for both a summer and winter holiday. This is the first time we have stayed in the summer and there was so much to do. We also couldn't believe how good value the activities were with the purchase of the my tignes card. As a result, quite a lot of the activities were free which was brilliant. We will definitely be going back because the weather was perfect with warm sunshine, blue skies but not the intense heat that is being experienced in some of parts of Europe.
Location was excellent, couldn’t have been better. Great access to the slopes, supermarket, shops and restaurants.
Val Claret is a lovely village in a great resort with skiing for all abilities and great access to the whole area.
The apartment had a great kitchen with good quality appliances and we loved the Raclette. A few bits of dry sore cupboard thing left over by previous quests were very useful.
The hot-tub and sauna were lovely.
The view from the apartment was amazing, lovely to see across to the ski slopes and over the resort.
We have visited Tignes many times so we know the location and this hotel is conveniently situated near to the Tuffs chairlift. Room was comparatively spacious and
though some may describe it as tired it is a ski resort and as such is treated harshly by guests. For that reason I would say this hotel is perfectly adequate for
purpose with more space and facilities than others in its price point. Breakfast was OK, it would have benefitted from some meat selection but in my opinion
was in line with expectations and reasonable value.
Very friendly family run hotel with owners/ staff very helpful and supportive. Rooms good, ski boot room very easy to access, breakfast good and bar/ social area excellent for post skiing. View of lake is great offering terrace in warmer weather. Excellent location with a very short walk to Tignes 2100 centre for lifts, shops and restaurants and ski shuttle bus stop right outside also allowing quick and convenient access to Val Claret. We enjoyed our stay and the hotel was very convenient and comfortable for a skiing holiday.
The appartment was great and clean with a view on the slopes. Well equiped kitchen and great beds to sleep in after a skiing day. Skirent and lockers in house. Location is beautifull only a 3 minute walk to the slopes that bring you in the whole ski area of Tignes. Nice small village. Excellent wifi important for 3 teenagers.
Reception is helpfull and very quick with answering questions. Fresh bread every morning, great pool and highly recommend for our family of 5.
The beautifully authentic Hotel Vanoise is the most wonderful place to stay, and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who values genuine hospitality rather than pomp and show. The family who run it are wonderfully friendly and speak fantastic English, and run a small bar in the evening as well as providing an inexpensive and delicious home-cooked meal every night. If I ever visit Tignes again I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!
Excellent location - the view from the balcony down the valley to Le Lac gave us a wonderful spot to watch the New Year fireworks. The view makes the apartment feel more spacious. It is also one of the best equipped rental flats we’ve stayed in - it has everything you need and the welcome pack from Interhome with toilet roll and cleaning materials was a nice touch.
This is a central located well appointed apartment with good views beside the lifts. Although the bedrooms are small the space is well laid out and everything worked well. It is ideal for a family of 8 but 10 would be a squeeze . Its a good base for a ski holiday in Val Claret.
The staff were very friendly and supportive. Béatrice showed us everything when we arrived at hotel.
The room has everything we need and is with a stunning mountain view.
Breakfast was also good, we love the ham and the pain au chocolat.
A really lovely apartment with fantastic views of the lake and mountain. Great position to quickly get to both Val claret and Tignes. Excellent communication from the hosts. Well equipped, warm and comfortable for our family. Thankyou .
Breakfast was excellent, all products were great. The quietness of the hotel and the comfortable bed will provide a great night of sleep. The menus served for dinner are a great value and the quality is excellent.
location was excellent - very easy access to the slopes, ski hire shop, centre of val claret
very clean chalet with lovely decor, clever layout and use of space and very well equipped
