Location is very close to the piste. Room was simple, but well maintained and clean. Breakfast and dinner were good. Proximity to the bus stops was also very good.

First, the staff was SOOOO helpful and welcoming. The location was amazing - we literally skied down to the lift and then right back to the hotel at the end of the day.
There are 5 different "neighborhoods" to stay in at Tinges. This is the top neighborhood, and closest to the funicular that takes you to the tippy top. It is an active neighborhood that has fun bars and nightclubs. I would highly recommend it.
Breakfast was lovely.
There were a ton of restaurants nearby that provided a ton of different options.

I live in Whistler Creekside and ski 100+ days per year here. Compared to Tignes/ Val D'Isere; Whistler is a fart in a wind-storm; as the Scale is off the charts! This place rocks for an expert skier like me. Also: Excellent foods prepared by someone who cares! Compared to what Vail charges here for lifts and food; We are getting burned. My favourite photo here: from up some funky poma-lift from Val Claret looking across to the Tufts lift: My blue-sky boot-top-pow warm-up run down to the kilometer vertical of the Grande Motte funicular... ha! It is fun to be an expert with Fifty 100+-day seasons. I skied with three Swedes I met and All had FIS national or World Cup races in their history. We Rocked !

the shuttle bus is a very good service around tignes.
the shuttle bus is a very good service around tignes. However shuttles to and from Val disere are sparse and over crowded. The views from the glacier are exceptional and the resort is very well run by the pisteurs etc. For experienced advanced and intermediate skiers this resort is fantastic. for beginners planning a route is a must.

Tignes was a great resort.
Tignes was a great resort. Everything was within walking distance of our apartment but there was an also a great free bus service.
We loved the restaurant La Julietta - the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was great. We ate there twice.
We wanted to eat at The Brasserie L’Alpin and went in on the off chance one evening to ask if they had any availability. There were empty tables (it was about 8.30pm) but we were told they were full in quite a rude manner. I did them email the next day to ask if we could make a booking for later in the week but were told that they were full every night but they could do the following week. This felt slightly more friendly than the in person encounter but as we were leaving at the end of the week, it wasn’t any use to us.
The skiing was great. We were there in half term and it was so quiet on the slopes. We were able to ski straight onto most lifts, or had less than a 2 minute queue time. The busiest one was Le Grattalu heading back at the end of the day and even that was less than 10 minutes. We’ve been to other places where we’ve queued for 40 minutes to get on lifts!
There were plenty of runs for all levels and the snow was good. We will definitely go back to Tignes.

This is an amazing place for both a summer and winter...
This is an amazing place for both a summer and winter holiday. This is the first time we have stayed in the summer and there was so much to do. We also couldn't believe how good value the activities were with the purchase of the my tignes card. As a result, quite a lot of the activities were free which was brilliant. We will definitely be going back because the weather was perfect with warm sunshine, blue skies but not the intense heat that is being experienced in some of parts of Europe.
The hotel is very stylish and well laid out. The staff is extremely friendly and did everything to make us comfortable. As an example: I parked my electric car at the hotel (valet service) and they even charged my car without me asking.
There is an excellent pool and sauna area in case you don’t want to ski or if you want to relax after skiing. The restaurant offers a great view of the slopes and mountains.
The ski shop at the hotel was also very helpful and made it easy for us to pick the best rental equipment.
Fabulous, friendly hotel with a great receptionist/hostess (Christiana) who looked after us so well. The location is superb in the middle of Val Claret, minutes from the lift.
The bar was great - Sebastian was a great barman - we made it our starting point every evening
The only disappointment was that it is being knocked down/remodeled next year when we went to rebook.
The location was excellent, just on the main road leading into Tignes Le Lac and easy walking distance to all the main lifts and centre of town. The studio was warm, well equipped and had a modern bathroom, kitchenette and nice balcony. Obviously it's a studio so, although it could sleep 4 people, in my opinion it would be very cosy if there were more than 2 of you.
The location was perfect next to the gondola. Ski-in and ski-out. The mountains around were breathtaking. The hotel appartement was spacious and clean. We booked 2 bedrooms and leaving room for 4 people. The view from the balcony was very beautiful. The residence had nice SPA with pool. The paid parking under the hotel was handy because it was snowing a lot.
Location could not be better. Staff were excellent, very considerate and spoke English which was a help. The room was quiet and comfortable and the ambience was a small family-run cosy hotel. Breakfast was good. Evening meals were to a set menu but good home cooking and generous. Facilities were what you would expect with a 2 star hotel
The hotel has a nice traditional feel, good facilities and activities available in the hotel. The location is probably the best of any hotel in town right next to lifts and rental shops. The hotel is essentially ski in/ ski out. Staff were helpful and friendly and easy to communicate with before and during the stay.
This is about the only 2 star hotel in the entire resort, unpretentious, and represents great value for money for a short stay. Friendly and helpful proprietor, offered somewhere for us to change so we could go skiing before checking in and after checking out of our room, good location for access to the slopes, .
All perfect! It’s the best apartment I have ever had for our family ski trip. Very clean and good location with nice mountain view ,comfortable room , fully storage, good shower and fully equipped kitchen. Also there’s a super nice reception of the building made the check in or check out easy and no problems!
Location is the best in Tignes, good ski room (although no heated boot driers). We actually stayed in No 87 on the top floor (but it looks exactly the same) which had a great view from the balcony but very hot especially at night. Lots of storage which is needed as it is such a compact apartment.
This is a central located well appointed apartment with good views beside the lifts. Although the bedrooms are small the space is well laid out and everything worked well. It is ideal for a family of 8 but 10 would be a squeeze . Its a good base for a ski holiday in Val Claret.
Ski in ski out hotel, they gave me a room with nice view towards the mountain. restaurant les etincelles was the best with different menu everyday and the staff was very well trained. hot pool is amazing. each room comes with its own ski boots and ski lockers which are heated.
The space is huge for our group activities and we have a lot of choices of activities just in the chalet during night time (pool, sauna etc!!). The ski area is just outside right there, so it is easy to get on the slope and come back for rest during the day.
The staff were very friendly and supportive. Béatrice showed us everything when we arrived at hotel.
The room has everything we need and is with a stunning mountain view.
Breakfast was also good, we love the ham and the pain au chocolat.
Great facilities, beautiful hotel with every amenities you can think off, the location is perfect to get to the slopes, and most of all, an incredible staff, very helpful and friendly. I would go back without hesitation.
Excellent location for a ski in ski out holiday. Great facilities at the hotel for a hastle free stay. An excellent varied selection of food for lunch and dinner with the choice of one night in the Savoyarde restaurant.
Breakfast was excellent, all products were great. The quietness of the hotel and the comfortable bed will provide a great night of sleep. The menus served for dinner are a great value and the quality is excellent.
