The only thing was it's on a hill not very disable friendly. The people were very helpful and friendly. We all loved the Enniskillen Castle and it was free to park which was great. We have been visiting Enniskillen for several years now visiting family. The town centre has different shops to home as well as the larger well known ones. Enniskillen is a good shopping town with plenty of smaller retailers in the main shopping streets as well as the larger well known retailers in the shopping centres. Loved our visit to Enniskillen. Highly recommend the Castle Museum and Visitors Centre with eleven galleries. Most impressive. Lovely walks by Lough Erne. Great food in local pubs and restaurants. The town centre has a great variety of shops and it’s very close to the Erne Centre Shopping Mall - so has something for everyone. Enniskillen is in a very scenic location but it is extremely noisy, due to a constant stream of very heavy vehicles speeding through the town. A bypass road is badly needed. A large number of vehicles are lacking in silencers. Police are nowhere to be seen. On roads heading from the town cars are obviously speeding. For a town of its size, accommodation is very expensive. Hotel rooms in large cities worldwide are available at cheaper rates. You will need to bring plenty of bags with you when shopping, as there is a charge for even paper bags.Guest review byMaryIreland
