Fabulous stay, the proprietors were warm and welcoming. Gave great tips of things to see in the area and a little further out. The pub was a haven after a busy day touring about. The restaurant was excellent and interesting to cook your own protein. There was a gas bar a block away and a fish & chip shop that was doing a very brisk business.

Beautiful views over the water. Wonderful views from the room. Clean, comfortable and quiet room. You can walk to some really neat cliff walks and even get down to the shore by going through the cliff hotel next-door. Breakfast was delicious!
This renowned hotel features one of the most breathtaking views and marine locations in Wales, overlooking Cardigan Bay, the rugged coastline, the Teifi Estuary and the broad sweep of Poppit Sands.

Hotel is in a beautiful location, the most comfortable beds! A really fabulous night's sleep. Gorgeous walks down to the beach and around the caves. The spa was lovely and every member of staff around the hotel was super friendly, helpful, polite.... just really good people! A special shout out to Elaina on reception. We hadn't planned on staying at this hotel, we stumbled across it whilst camping and I'm so glad we did. I will definitely come back for a planned, longer visit in the Summer.
My only criticism would be breakfast, while the hot selection is really good, the fruit and pastry's were poor quality and it showed, they were really un-appetising. But that is a minor, on the whole fabulous stay and will be back.
Set in Cardigan, Cardigan Castle offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a restaurant, a bar and barbecue facilities. A TV and DVD player are available in some units.

My family and I spent a few days here recently and we loved it. The whole place was lovely. The owners were so helpful and really nice. There was a gorgeous outdoor heated swimming pool and a hot tub outside our accommodation. My family spent a great afternoon playing the huge outdoor chess game and the kids loved the play area. The beds were really comfortable and the place was so clean. It felt so luxurious and we were sorry to have had only booked a short stay here. We will be back and would highly recommend this holiday cottage.

Cardigan has shops selling locally made arts and crafts. It also has a wonderful Italian restaurant called Mannuccis which had a fantastic gluten free menu. There are plenty of beautiful locations to visit nearby to Cardigan

Cardigan Castle disappointing, not much to see, may be of more interest to somebody wanting historical facts. To me a waste of time and money. Castle virtually non existent.
Cardigan is a town that time has forgotten! For that it is pleasantly quaint. Nice cafes.
Probably better on a fine day!

Quite a quaint town during the day but at night it does come alive especially the pubs.
A really lovely range of shops and food places.
A visit to the castle is a must.
The best places are often the ones reccomended by locals.
2 days just wasn't enough for me, as just a little further out was glorious bays, beaches and mountains but more spectacular was the waterfalls

Went for a few walks on the coastal pathways which had breathtaking views. Cardigan was 10 minutes away by car. Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Crwst. This is a must for anyone visiting the area.
Great pasta lunch at Berlotti's. A fairly good variety of shops in Cardigan.
We also visited Theatre Mwldan during our stay to watch the latest Poirot film.

Not a great deal in the town and much is shut early in the week including restaurants and bars but there are some gems. The Copper Pot serves excellent food and the welcome at the Black Lion Hotel could not be warmer.
The entrance/reception is welcoming and had lovely decor, as is the newly opened bar. The lady at check in and working the bar was very nice and friendly and covered both areas on her own very well. Our room was modern, clean, comfortable and well equipped with hairdryer, toiletries, towels, TV and iron/board. The bed was also comfortable.
Parking was not an issue for us - there are bays outside the hotel free for an hour and then unlimited from 6pm-8am, meaning you can park from 5pm-9am.
What an excellent find. Only stayed one night as was touring and usually book hotels but Llety Teifi Guesthouse has restored my faith in B&B's. Great location, stunning house and rooms. Bathroom was superb and loved the heated bathroom mirror. The owners Gary and Sally could not do enough for us. Superb location close to the centre of town but our room was quiet. Will be back but will book more than one night so that we can explore the area more thoroughly. Superb highly recommended.
The Hotel is exceptional- Very nicely decorated, comfortable and in a great location with stunning views of the estuary and headland opposite - there is also a great cliff edge walk. The staff were excellent- friendly and helpful. There was a slight problem and the staff member of reception was top notch and got it sorted within minutes. Breakfast is exceptional - good quality produce, lots of choice and ample portions. Cannot recommend the hotel enough- 5 stars
We enjoyed the whole experience, The hotel, room, parking, Breakfast, staff, location there was nothing to complain about but everything to make our stay a very happy stay. Thank you to the hotel staff for a very professionally run operation and very friendly interaction that goes a long way to remembering a very happy stay. We would definetly stay at this hotel if in the area in the future.
Best wishes and good luck to Cardigan Castle Hotel.
We arrived around 8 pm and were still able to check in before the cut off time. Free parking for our car (although the parking area is tiny...I read there is a secondary lot in case the first one is full). Fully equipped kitchen. Our room was bare bones but clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was also very clean. Nice hot water shower. Great price!
Good location central to the Town and a good base to visit the area. Car park accessed via gated entrance was narrow so care needed. Accommodation was within Castle grounds in annexe to main building. Room was large with en-suite just as large, overlooking Castle garden. Breakfast in Castle cafe, friendly staff with views to river or castle grounds.
Hotel was in a great location, a short walk from Cardigan high street. We are happy to walk quite a while, so not only did we take a walk to Mnwt Beach )a couple of hours) we also walked to a restaurant in St Dogmaels (took about 40 mins). It was easy to get everywhere from the guest house. host was very friendly as well.
Perfect base for exploring Cardigan Bay and the beaches of west Wales. The shepherds hut was lovely and cosy, ideal for a couple and well equipped with everything you need. We had lots of BBQs and relaxing hot tub dips. Ginnie was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back!
The location was ideal just outside the town center to all amenities just set back from the main road. We used this has base point to travel around the area visiting all the beaches or villages.
The host Sue was very welcoming and the bungalow was lovely clean and comfortable.
Cheap hotel in a nice area, so at the price it was you can't really complain. The room was a good size and had all the facilities we needed. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Cardigan is a lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes.
Buffet Breakfast had plenty of choice. Quality of food was very good. Food served in the evening was of very good quality thoroughly enjoyed. Views from the hotel are exceptional & if your lucky you could see dolphins out in the bay.
Quick check-in and friendly staff, good location of the hotel, nice breakfast (also considerate of gluten-free wishes), nice to have a bar as part of the place :) generally recommended if you want to experience a classic 'Inn'.
Ample parking ideally situated for the town and surrounding area. Bit tricky on the entrance because of an island in the road but doable. Gary was always available if needed and provided local input on request. Enjoyable stay
Warm and welcoming hosts - nothing too much trouble. Clean, comfortable rooms. Excellent food. Friendly locals. Very good value and great location for exploring Cardigan Bay and Pembrokeshire.
