Lisburn is a nice town with plenty of shops and places to eat. Most of the attractions are closed this time of year but the local park is well worth a nice walk around and the town itself has a friendly atmosphere. If driving, there is a one way system in place which can be a little confusing to navigate at times but it is well serviced with public transport.

Lisburn is a friendly walkable town close to 2 airports.
Lisburn is a friendly walkable town close to 2 airports. It offers plenty of restaurants, services and shops. It's also a thriving community with churches, schools, hospital, charity shops and parks, including a river walk and castle grounds plus a linen museum. Bigger shops such M&S and B&Q are on the outskirts. But the little proprietary shops are gems.
There are frequent buses and trains to Belfast if you need a city (and nightlife) and some gorgeous parks not far by car. There are plenty of B&Bs in the farmlands around Lisburn but if you stay in Lisburn itself you won't need a car.

Great location for me in pandemic situation as it allowed me to visit my 85 year old mother for the first time in 18 months providing some respite for my sister while allowing me to meet the government guidelines. Comfortable property. Warm and cosy with modern bathroom and kitchen facilities. Private parking was a bonus.
John and Rosaleen made us more welcome than any other B&B I have ever stayed in, in a genuine, friendly and relaxed way. We really enjoyed their company and felt that they were friends by the time we left. Oakfield is in a lovely, quiet location, but well placed for access to much of Northern Ireland. The room was spacious, bright and clean with a brilliant shower. John cooks a mean breakfast. All-in-all, they made our stay in NI extra special. Many thanks to you both.
The accommodation was in an excellent area. Easy access to shops, food and places to see. The apartment exceeded my expectations. It looked great in the photos but they simply do not do it enough justice.
Excellent for group stays as the accommodation is quite spacious.
Few minutes away from a train station, so Belfast is easily accessible.
The owner was nice and responsive, no issues with communication at all.
Absolutely Fantastic Stay ! House was spotless, so cosy yet plenty of room for our toddler to run about during our stay. Great Value for money in this house !
Most definitely will return if in Northern Ireland again. Land lady was there to show us around when we arrived and told us she was next door if needed. Ideal base for us to explore Belfast for a couple of days. could not recommend highly enough.
Great place to stay, not far from Lisburn and Belfast.
Rooms comfortable and cosy with ensuite.
Breakfast was well catered for, Tea's, coffee's, cereal and a good cooked breakfast too. What more could you ask for...
Oh! an added touch, guests had the use of the small kitchen to made tea and coffee whenever you fancied a cuppa.
Staff were amazing couldn't do enough for you... Breakfast was amazing... Rooms were very comfortable all newly repainted beds were very comfortable we stayed as a family the kids had a pull out sofa and that was comfortable also.. Small fridge in room TV also we enjoyed our stay very close to Belfast City and surrounding towns
Location was excellent, close to Belfast and walking distance to Lisburn. Beds were very comfy. House was clean and had everything we needed. House was very warm and cozy during a cold snap in late Spring. A nice area which felt very safe and was quiet and peaceful. Bird song in the morning.
Very large room with lovely sitting area.
Garden areas outside are pretty, be careful of broken wood on garden treads.
Breakfast is early but very quickly served after you order. Help staff is pleasant.
There is a fridge to store milk etc in the bar room which was helpful.
Loved the location. Very close to Belfast and it's airport as well as Lisburn itself. The house was adequate for our needs. It was fully equipped for a self catering stay. The log fire was a greatful extra especially if you go in the cooler months.
The hotel was excellent. The rooms are a very good size and very comfortable. The bathroom was was big, very clean and bright. The location was perfect. We will definitely stay there again.
A nice well equipped house that is close to Lisburn Town Centre. Host was readily available. On arrival the host had left freshly baked cakes and crisps for our enjoyment - a nice touch
excellent location, 30 min from Belfast, 1.5 hours from the dark hedges. very nicely set up, clean and comfortable. price was very reasonable and the host was super kind.
