Monkstadt House was amazing. Our room on the first floor was well appointed with tea, coffee, tv, etc. The bed was incredibly comfortable and everyone on the staff was very friendly. We had a spectacular dinner our first night and enjoyed starting our days with breakfast here. The property was a bit out of the way (single track road) but well worth it due to the silence in the evenings.

Shona was so nice and met me as I drove up with smiles. She went over everything I would want to know about the stay. Shona totally stocked the fridge with fresh blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and several other fruits. Cereals, yogarts, brie cheese, and many other items were also provided. The place was spotless and looked to have been newly refurbished. It was a little over five minutes walk to the town square. I could not have been happier with the stay.

I only spent one night in Portree so my judgement is limited. Even before the tourist season started, it was quite crowded. I can’t imagine what it must be like at the height of the season. Skye is lovely but expensive compared to other locations in Scotland.

Skyelight Apartment is at a great location, very near to Portree town centre, maybe 1-minute walk. Nicely furnished, warm and cozy. Note though there is no washing machine. Otherwise, a wonderful accommodation.

We loved Rockview.
We loved Rockview. The view of the harbor from our room was spectacular. We could easily walk To the town of Portree to eat and shop! Location was perfect to sightsee . The owners were so helpful and nice! Would highly recommend Rockview!

A beautiful highlands town. Dinner reservations can be a bit of a challenge, however, you are on vacation typically and need to be patient. The food is definitely worth it - I stayed 4 nights and did not have a bad meal or experience.Bonnie

Had off street parking. The hosts Andy and Liam were great, very friendly and a virtual font of useful information that helped us a lot to maximize our enjoyment of Skye. The room was quiet with a comfortable bed and a well equipped bathroom with an excellent shower. Only place we stayed in Scotland that had USB chargers in outlets to charge iPhones. The guy at reception went out of his way to find information for us. We had a family room and a double for the 5 of us which which were very comfortable and well serviced. We had no problems with parking. The hotel conveniently situated within waking distance to Portree town. The hotel is highly recommended. Isle of Skye is beautiful, a pity our stay was all too short.

The staff was lovely. Kudos to Donella at the front desk who ties everything together for us with humor and gracious personality. I would recommend this hotel highly.
