Room was good.
Breakfast was OK once we'd worked out how to go about it. We were given no instructions on how to order or whether it was self service - it wasn't but there was nobody around to serve us. A few instructions at check-in would have been helpful.

The room was dressed nicely, bed was comfortable, shower worked nicely, there was coffee and tea, and the room was a good size. Very comfortable, and I slept well.

I ended up at the Black Horse after being stranded at Peterborough due to an LNER situation - I tried booking hotels in town and they had run out of spaces so I randomly chose a reasonably priced one that was accessible - which ended up being the Black Horse. It looked very nice from the photos and lived up to this image - it's a gorgeous place - an old-fashioned inn with a restaurant, bar and rooms, beautifully decorated. The young woman on duty who checked me in (I can't remember her name but she was great) was extremely welcoming, reassuring and accommodating. The dinner was exceptional - the best gluten-free fish and chips I have tasted! (Coeliacs should check if the tartare sauce is gluten free though) It was great to be so warm and well-fed in such a nice environment after being stuck on the train and then a cold platform for several hours. I'd definitely recommend this place. My room was large and comfortable with space to work and a really good shower. They even let me work remotely the next morning teaching music online no bother! (In fact I got a round of applause from the locals in bar next door when I finished :D) Altogether very friendly, comfortable, amenable and relaxed place. The young bar staff were also great - relaxed, resourceful and accommodating. I'd definitely choose to stay here if I was in the area again, absolutely.

Peterborough came across as poor and unloved.
I walked through the centre of town on a Wednesday night around 10:30 and did not feel safe - not normally affected like this.
There are groups of homeless people around the town, not necessarily bothering people but they need support and shouldn’t be left to roam the streets. Far more homeless here than anywhere I visited recently.
This was a work visit, I would not visit for pleasure

Peterborough not the best city in the world, but a few shops to mooch about it, and plenty of places to eat and drink. Mum and I took a trip to the cinema. Was nice. This hotel IS NOT in the town centre. Its a little drive. But that is what we wanted.

Nene Park area lovely with good flat walking and nice refreshments available. Excellent pitch n putt course.
Nene valley railway station at Peterborough worth a visit to eco garden area.
Plus train trips.
Flag fen on outskirts is definitely worth a look, really interesting and a nice walk too.
Like all cities there are some less charming areas! But some good cafes in town, Gossip good coffee and Fratellis in Rivergate for coffee and breakfast. Oh and East on the river for Asian fusion food and to sit in a boat!

There is a excellent centre that has a good variety of restaurants, shops and corner little shops. Named chains and independent retailers. There is also historical aspects if you want to know more about Peterborough's history. There are reasonable priced car parking places. If not wanting to drive the coach and train stations are very local if you want to leave the car at home!.
We hired a fully serviced apartment with all modern amenities. Everything was new and clean. The apartment was huge and we felt very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful and everyone one was smiling. We felt welcome. We got a 2 bedroom spacious apartment with all the appliances you need for the price of a hotel room! Exceptional value for money and the location was very nice and scenic. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Peterborough.
The hotel is basic clean and fine for what we needed. Very peaceful nights sleep. I did feel the hotel sits on the back of its attached restaurant thou tbh. No bar at all just the restaurant. We did dine here for the evening and found it excellent maybe too much food. Just be aware the hotel is in a area largely populated by Eastern Europeans which to myself what astounded by. Anyway it served its purposes. Peterborough Town is lovely and cathedral amazing.
The price was great for 1 nights stay. The hotel was very quiet - only 2 people sat having breakfast. The Car Park was of an average size (We arrived at 9am and they were happy for me to leave the car whilst in London and check in later). Location to City Centre is great only a (15min) walk and Peterborough Utd Ground (2min) walk.
This place is amazing!
The hosts, Mr. Tapas and Hennie, are very friendly, nice and extremely helpful. They made my stay there comfortable.
The place is clean and it gets cleaned regularly.
It is a cozy house in a quiet neighborhood with a shopping area nearby and not far away from the city centre.
Highly recommended
While visiting family in the area, we stayed at The Bell Inn and had an exceptional stay. The staff was wonderful and always so helpful and friendly, the food was delicious and our room was very clean and comfortable. We will be staying again the next time we are in the area.
Hotel was very clean and comfortable in a quiet location not far from Peterborough centre.Staff were very welcoming and friendly.Lovely breakfast included in the price with plenty of choice.Nice touch were the "goody bags" that you could fill to eat during your days out.

Fabulous hotel in town centre. Very clean and beautifully decorated in keeping with the building. Rooms lovely. Beds and pillows are really comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely return if I am in Peterborough again.
Staff very friendly. Our room was big with a large bathroom.
The breakfast was very good
Our whole experience at this hotel was excellent and relaxing .we would recommend the hotel and plan to stay here again.
Visiting Peterborough for an event and this hotel was in the right place for the right money and the bonus of a pool etc. restaurant served good food, but better value was had down the road at a local pub.
The room size was good for a single person like me. The location was in good area and just opposite of the hotel was co-op supermarket and 10-15 mins walk from Peterborough train station.
This hotel surprised me. It was a great location with very good facilities. I was not familiar with Dragonfly hotels but will use this one again as we visit Peterborough twice a year.
The staff were very welcoming and the hotel had a family feel. The rooms were comfortable and the food was tasty. The bar served ice cold cider on the hot summer evenings,
