Amazing front of office staff. So helpful. Particular thanks to CLAIRE reception. outstanding help, restaurant SANJANA WHO WENT TO GREAT LENGTHS TO HELP., and SAHIL f&b. Adage of 'lead from the front ' applies to this kind man. I am disabled and every request was met with courtesy and efficiency.
Breakfast was perfect. Fresh eggs properly cooked and not left sitting in oil. SANJANA Recommended vegetarian sausages. 👌

Brilliant location, perfect for our needs. Comfy bed, sparkling clean, quiet room, excellent breakfasts with omelette made to order. When we arrived we requested bath mat, extra tea and to fix the TV which had frozen, all 3 were immediately sorted by different people without a fuss. Courteous, efficient room service.

first of all ,I m not the one to complain as some others did before , I knew what to expect and all I was interested in was an affordable acommodation that is close to the O2 Leicester
the room is quite spacious , it has a sink , 2 chairs and the bed which is really very comfy nothing spectacular, basic but clean which is so important. The toilets and showers were clean and I didn t have a single encounter with anyone during the time I was there , even though the place was quite full, You get offered toiletries and a towel at the check in,
I d definitely stay there again if I m on my own , basically everyone needs a place (clean place ) to crash after a night out ,event etc.
one more thing : visits are not allowed, just in case....
if you re looking for something fancier just go somewhere else :)

The City Rooms is a beautiful Georgian Grade I Listed Building, that now boasts 4 luxurious Boutique hotel suites in the heart of Leicester City Centre.
Lovely spacious rooms. All facilities that we needed. Very good location.
Multicultural Leicester has a vibrant feel, partly due to the large student population of De Montfort and Leicester universities. The latter lines Victoria Park, whereas Abbey Park covers both banks of the River Soar and houses ruins of a 12th-century abbey that was the burial site of Cardinal Wolsey.
Richard III was also buried in the city and a commemorative statue sits in Castle Gardens, by the Newarke Houses Museum and St Mary de Castro Church. St Nicholas Church overlooks the Jewry Wall Roman bath remains, while the tall-spired cathedral is next to the half-timbered, medieval guildhall.
Nearby are the Highcross and Haymarket shopping centres, as well as Leicester Market – Europe’s largest outdoor covered market. The city centre is packed with restaurants and bars, and the Golden Mile of Belgrave Road has a wealth of curry houses and jewellery stores. It also hosts the largest Diwali celebrations outside India.
Other entertainment venues are Upper Brown Street and the futuristic-looking Curve Theatre. Equally modern in design is the National Space Centre, while the National Gas Museum is near King Power Stadium, home of Leicester City FC. Leicestershire Golf Course is one of 8 surrounding the city.
The Leicester accommodation on Booking.com includes luxury hotels with spas, guest houses near the train station and cheap inns with parking.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The people in Leicester were very friendly and there were plenty of shops and a good variety of cafes. I went to Leicester to visit King Richard’s grave and the people at the cathedral were very helpful

Leicester is an everyday English town.
Leicester is an everyday English town. It might be a city, I don't know, but that's probably semantics. It's really nothing at all to want to visit. I suppose if you live there it's functional, just like a broken kettle can still hold water, but it's not a 'place to visit', which probably sums up most places to be fair. There's not a lot else to say, really. If you have a reason to go, you'll go but it is overshadowed by bigger and better e.g. Nottingham, Birmingham, Coventry, Peterborough.

Leicester is a vibrant place, outstanding for the great mix of races and cultures that happily coexist in the city. There is so much to do and see, we enjoyed the New Walk Museum, Mexican fiesta in Silver Street and a wonderful authentic Turkish meal at Nazar in Evington Village this visit. There are lovely parks, and a walk in Bradgate park is a must, better still climb up to ‘Old John’ if you’re able. A good natured fun city, love to visit anytime.

Visit the Cathedral, King Richard visitor center.
Visit the Cathedral, King Richard visitor center. If you like ethnic food then you will find nowhere in UK more diverse. Visit the beautiful countryside, Bradgate Park and Foxton Locks. Do a walking tour of the City, a lot of history here.
Like any inner City, stay away from downtown at night if you're on your own.

I have been to this hotel many times and enjoyed friendly team of all the staffs and the choices of breakfast.inclusive of the the comfort of the room. As the kitchen and other areas were in process of improvement. Having vegetarian diet I enjoyed and highly recommend South Indian food and friendly staff. There is also Bhojalram Sweet mart where I do my delicious take away savoury & sweet dishes purchase.
Location could not have been better…extremely close to Leicester’s city centre. The early morning cuppa was welcome but my friend and I enjoyed exploring city restaurants for a full breakfast. We were extremely grateful to for apartment manager Aalimah’s patience and understanding in answering my phone calls telling her we were not receiving her instructions about gaining entry. My mobile phone and iPad were both on the blink? The friendly Aalimah eased my embarrassment
Really clean room, towel provided. Nice room in a half house-share/half hotel.
But, there was no internet code given or left in the property, and the details to enter (keycode system) weren't sent in an email until AFTER I left, the day after. Luckily the man downstairs helped me.
The owner/landlord seemed helpful upon ringing for entry advice, and he did sound stressed. But there should be a bit more guidance and necessities left.
Love absolutely everything from the humane and very kind service to incredibly spacious and very clean room. Perfect walking location from train station and basically central surrounded by shops, Escape room, cinemas etc. 10 min on taxy to Space center.
I travel a lot and to be honest it is so far best place and hotel I ever stayed. Definitely, aim to return and stay in this comfortable place and explore more of Leicester.
Really pleasant and convenient. Allowed us to visit family, the space centre and Twycross zoo without having to drive for a long time. Handy for both city centre and the wider Leicestershire county. Staff were great, nothing too much trouble. Room was clean and plenty of space. Wifi worked well. Gym was excellent. Breakfast was the best hotel buffet I’ve ever had. Very well suited to families with young Children.
I've stayed at The Ramada Encore in Leicester previously, so knew what to expect. The hotel is close to the city centre and the railway station, so is ideally located. The hotel is smart and clean, and the staff are always helpful. I was able to leave my bag with reception prior to check in and also after checking out, which is handy. The rooms are modern and contemporary with tea and coffee making facilities.
Location is bang in the city centre, very spacious and lovely flat.
The host was brilliant, didn’t meet him but was only a text/ phone call away.
Easy to get into the property and has a lift which helped a lot due to me being in a wheelchair.
Bed was nice and soft, could sink right into it!
When I come back to Leicester I would definitely come back to this property.
This is a superb hotel - really can't be faulted. Super chic and really high level of cleanliness and decor. Excellent city centre location within walking distance of everywhere I needed to be. Free car parking for guests too, and full concierge service to sort out any issues. On top of all that, incredible value for money.
The walk in shower that was requested was brilliant. My Wife is disabled, so that was a requirement. She is not so severely disabled however lifting your leg in out of the bath for a shower stops us going to certain hotels. The food from the restaurant was ok and breakfast was good as well as buffets go.
Great place to stay and you can take your doggie child as well. The food from the Italian restaurant in the building was fantastic!! Have stayed 2 consecutive weekends cause its that nice!! Very convenient for the city centre as well. There is also a great park out the back for a nice walk. 👍
The bed, breakfast and the room were as usual very clean and we were made very welcome when we arrived. As always the staff are very helpful and sort out any problem you may have. Will not be staying at any other hotel in Leicester for the foreseeable future!!!
This is an ideally placed Guest House for Leicester. Easily accessed from the M1. A short bus ride to the city centre on the 50 or 51 bus. The host was lovely and friendly. Room facilities contained tea and coffee and a lovely shower in the bathroom.
Well presented apartment very close to the city centre. Parking is in the building so that was really helpful. Lastly, Nick is always available over text/calls whenever you need him.
The hotel is a short walk to the city centre but in a lovely leafy location. Great breakfast and the evening meal was superb. All the staff were friendly. We were very impressed.
Excellent location and just take less than 30mins to the Leicester City Centre.
Suitable for family as there is a games room with pool table and some board games.0
Very central location easy to access city centre. Good deal with parking at the nearby high cross car park. Easy check in. Very spacious room. Good value.
