Location is unbeatable, breakfast was plentiful and good for £10/each/day, not sure I would pay more than that. Breakfast is the same everyday. Hotel is quiet up on the third floor. There was a wedding party one night and didn’t hear a thing!
Family room is a bit tight but worked well.
This hotel is beside the River Tay, a minute from Perth Museum and Horsecross Concert Hall. Rooms are en suite and many have views of the river and the hotel's award-winning gardens.

The hotel is very convenient to the rail station… A 10 minute walk. The garden in the back was beautiful… During our visit, most of the flowers were in bloom.

We didn't know that many places in Scotland will only book Saturday if you book 2 consecutive nights. We were fortunate to find this room so late on a Saturday. W We flew out of Edinburgh the next morning.

Friendly owner and fabulous location with private parking - loved the little extras provided. A very short walk to lovely Indian restaurant and also given 10% for staying at this guest house, likewise with a cafe not far away offering 10% off price of any meal, including breakfasts.

Forgandenny is just a small village on route to the lodge, however Bridge if Earn is another small village not too far away, with all amenities, baker, supermarket, hotel with restaurant, which we would highly recommend (The village Inn)
