What an absolutely beautiful location. It was very clean and welcoming. Vicki always has a smile when she sees you and has made her little B&B a place to completely relax. From the muffins, tea, and drinks, to her home cooked breakfast of your choice, she tends to her guests’ every need. The bed was comfy, the room was tastefully decorated, and the view was spectacular. I could walk that little beach for days. We’ll be back!

The Perfect location in order to explore north Skye. Breakfast items were excellent. One of the best places I have stayed in a very long time.
Loch Eyre Oasis in Kensaleyre provides accommodations with a garden and a terrace. Both Wifi and private parking are available at the homestay free of charge.
Set in a converted cluster of fisherman’s houses along Portree Harbor the hotel offers plenty of character and quirks. There are 17 bedrooms with attached bathroom with all expected facilities.
Originally built in 1875, The Portree Hotel is located on the corner of Portree's main street and overlooks Somerled Square, the town’s main square.

The property has a charm that only a heritage property can provide.

I stayed for one night on an unplanned visit due to not being able to get home to South Skye as a result of a serious traffic collision that closed the road. My husband booked it (which is why the review is by Douglas!) We have lived on Skye for almost 20 years and have never been down the track to this hotel. I loved it. Even though we live on one of the most beautiful islands in the world, I want to come back and stay again.
What a wonderful setting for our stay on the Isle of Skye! The room was clean, a very comfortable size with two padded chairs and table, had a beautiful view of the ocean, and was quiet! We also had access to a separate "reading-morning" room. Large dining room view of an unnamed Loch. The continental breakfast was pleasant with a variety of food, including coffee, tea, and juice. Staff so friendly. Our springtime visit (end of April) provided an opportunity to see a lot of lambs and an otter pair. Parking great.
The hotel staff were fantastic !!!
We had such a great time whilst staying their, nothing was too much trouble and we couldn’t praise this place enough.
Off the beaten track ( a little) and offers excellent views of the loch. This real was an amazing place to stay especially if you are visiting Skye to see Kilt Rock, the Old Mann of Stor, the fairy pools or Portree.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to stay for one more night!
The host and the staff were just lovely, super friendly and welcoming. Topped up with great breakfast, a bar, a stunning sea view, remote location, a beautiful big room, comfortable bed, super clean bathroom, good Wifi in the room - all these definitely makes us want to stay at Redwood House again.
The view from my room was just beautiful and I loved the slightly off the beaten track setting of the hotel. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and the ensuite shower was spotless. I could happily have stayed there for days.
The Hotel is located within a small an isolated peninsula, is the perfect place to relax, and enjoy Skye Island, it has a beautiful view. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable.
