This magnificent landmark hotel is situated on the Rock of Gibraltar, and has stunning views.

Sunborn Gibraltar features unique accommodations, on board a yacht. In Gibraltar, this luxury yacht-hotel showcases an infinity swimming pool and a restaurant.
Score from 146 reviews Excellent
On the promenade of La Línea de la Concepción, the AC Hotel La Linea by Marriott is only 15 minutes from Sotogrande and just over half a mile from the center of the city.
Score from 539 reviews Very good
Very large rooms. Excellent staff.
Slightly to expensive unfortunately. That's all.
Centrally located to enable business in Gibraltar to be done walking.
General feeling that the excellent location of this hotel seems to suffice the owners. The hotel lacks capital investment in improving and updating its rooms and general facilities. Chronic lack of Eurpean electric adaptors is also a nuisance!
If visiting gin this hotel is proberbly the best located on the rock.......
Struggle to think of a negative.....
Great location friendly staff......
having to leave
The hotel was very smart and clean. Friendly and helpful staff
It was only a shame that we didn't see any sunshine although it wasn't cold and it would have been good to try out the pool
Hotel needs a bit of TLC Other than that all good
no television dirty not maintained over priced for what you get (room, dinner and breakfast)
Roof top dining , the resturant was excellent Management and staff very attentive Location was excellent
Our friends had to change rooms, as maintainance did not deal with the problem quickly , they were given a less attractive room and not the same level as was booked
Outstanding food and service from the rooftop restaurant staff through to bar staff and reception giving a feeling of being valued as a customer. Will stay here again if returning to Gibraltar and will also recommend.
everything was just as promised, a clean and comfortable room with friendly staff
no free television or wi-fi
Live music as we could not sleep Till 01.30 in the morning!!!
Good location near Main Street. Friendly, helpful staff. Good hot and cold buffet breakfast.
Difficult to get a large car round the very narrow streets and right angled corners to actually reach the hotel. No TV or wifi available without payment. £12 a day to park in a very cramped car park.
We love the Eliott Hotel, right in town, friendly staff and a very relaxing environment
The Stuff was great, very friendly and so nice to all guest. Thank you so much for all. The cleaner -team was very good.
The Hotel- key card system have to be better. The key card was working sometimes, sometimes not.
Breakfast was chaotic
Parking close to hotel entrance.
Breakfast was terrible. Even with gps the place of the hotel is difficult to find.
Comfortable hotel, centrally located for Main Street shops, bars, restaurants etc. Had an enjoyable meal in rooftop restaurant, excellent steak cooked to perfection. Comfortable bar.
Rooms a little pricey, but suspect this is a reflection of the dearth of good hotels in Gibraltar. Car parking adjacent to hotel but charge of £12.00 per night
Very friendly staff, comfortable room, easy walking distance to shops and points of interest. We only stayed here for one night on our way back to the US but were very satisfied with our experience. Our departure was visa a late afternoon flight, so we requested a late check out time - it was cheerfully granted.
More expensive than options on the La Linea side, but that is to be expected. We really didn't experience any negatives.
LOCATION / GREAT FOOD / LOVELY FRIENDLY STAFF / GOOD SIZED ROOM / FABULOUS SHOWER!! / NICE ROOF POOL
JAZZ FESTIVAL WEEK PLAYING UNDER MY ROOM UNTIL AFTER MIDNIGHT!! - I WAS ON THE 4TH FLOOR.
Size of room Location Service
Intermittent wi-fi No mini bar - not major but it would have been nice to have cold mineral water. Busy breakfast room Expensive
Duration of stay: Sunday 12th October to Thursday 16th October 2014 On arrival, we were issued with one electronic room key of the ‘credit card’ type. It did not work, no matter how slowly or quickly it was inserted or removed from the electronic door lock. Another resident on the same floor commented that this was not the first time it had happened to her on the frequent occasions she had stayed there. Returned to reception where staff member re-programmed it and also issued a second key. Neither of these worked. Returned to the lift to go back to reception and was met by Tatania, a staff member in the lift who said that she would sort it out. Not only did she re-programme the keys yet again but returned to the corridor with mw where my wife was patiently waiting for access to the room. Tatania tried both keys which again did not work at all, so, she then produced a metal ‘normal’ key for the door which she advised us to keep for the duration of our stay. She also reported the failure of the electronic lock to the maintenance staff. A short while later, the maintenance guy appeared at the door asking about the faulty entrance light which we explained to him that we didn’t have but we did have a faulty lock. However, we had already discovered that the sink in the bathroom was blocked and after washing our hands, the water did not drain away. He said that he would return with a plunger. In my humble opinion, as a qualified Engineer, a plunger would not be sufficient and told him so. He returned a short time later with plunger and unsuccessfully tried to clear the drain with it after blocking the overflow with tissue. I recommended to him that he remove the bottle trap under the sink which he eventually did only to find a complete mass of hair and sludge which had clearly built up over a period. He removed this with a large amount of tissue and carried it away. The sink worked perfectly after this.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lounge bar was good and staff very attentive.
Breakfast was good but they need a bigger room as all tables were for 4 people so mostly had to sit with strangers and some of them not friendly! The bistro in the evening was in the same room as breakfast and the picture shows it all nice with table cloths etc. but when we went there was no tablecloths and only 2 staff so service very slow and food overpriced. It felt we were eating in the breakfast room and not a bistro as advertised. There were 5 lights out on our floor (5th) as you got out of the lift which made it very dark and it was like that for the whole week!
Everything, which is why this was our third or fourth visit.
There was nothing we didn't like!
Pro's Staff polite, attentive, efficient All areas kept clean at all times Food - only ate breakfast at hotel which was excellent. Eggs cooked a certain way, no trouble for kitchen to accommodate. Cannot find fault Cons Not really cons but poolside could do with a few more sunbeds (only two) rest are up on sun deck of which stairs not great for some who has mobility issues.
The only thing that I felt ruined the persona of the hotel for an evening venue, was the live singer - my god, was like sitting in old folks home lounge. Needless to say left half way through first song and went out to find some lively excitement elsewhere!
