It looks like the hotel was remodeled as everything was fresh and up to date. The rooms had power by both sides of the bed and the air conditioning worked perfectly with great controls. The bathroom was excellent with a great shower and hot water as one would expect. I’m adding these details because of other reviews that point these items as issues. The room was perfectly quiet with the balcony door closed. I do recommend a balcony room as it has a great view of the town / harbor and park below.
The staff were exceptionally great and totally helpful with everything from recommendations to calling a taxi. We were greeted warmly and all questions answered almost before having to ask. We arrived early and our luggage was stored while we walked to Main Street, which is a nice and interesting walk via the park or road. When we returned from the walk and collected the room key our luggage was already in our room, excellent work and job well done. The staff that checked the luggage somehow knew what our room would be and checked with us that our luggage was fine and everything was ok.
The hotel is top notch and far more than expected from some of the older reviews. I can’t speak for all the rooms but ours was great, wonderful, and made our visit to The Rock Hotel relaxing and worth every penny.

I liked the view of the airport runway. The room was very comfortable, with nearly everything I needed. Location-wise it was easy to walk to the city center and to cross the airport to go to Spain. Walter was very helpful and friendly.

A place of great adventure for active nature lovers. The top of the rock nature reserve is a must visit.
Although everything is duty free, the price tickers are generally higher than in Canada.
I drove a rental car from Spain to Gibraltar and people on the road from the Spanish side were generally kinder and accommodating.

Two days.
Two days. One hiring e-bikes, £49/day, cycling round the peninsula and up into the nature reserve where all the military tunnels etc are. £19 ticket to enter but well worth it. Day 2 shopping and beach. Nice restaurants on the Marina.

Something for everyone.
A nice hotel in a great location. It looks like it has been refurbished in recent years. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with a spacious bathroom. Housekeeping of the room and bathroom was very good with all towels refreshed daily (sheets were not changed once during a six night stay however).
The hotel is very convenient for all central heritage sights, restaurants and shopping, and also close to bus stops. The bus services take you anywhere in Gibraltar and are clean, frequent and punctual.
Callum was exceptionally responsive and proactive. He communicated with us before our arrival and during our stay. He was so friendly and helpful.
The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. The furnishings were comfortable and attractive. The rock of Gibraltar was right outside our bedroom window. It was amazing during the day and surreal at night.
We loved staying here and would definitely stay again.
Nice hotel, good location with fantastic sea views. Generally very nice place, however, I would say that some of the building does require some refurbishment which I believe is going to happen very soon. Access to the largest beach in Gibraltar was just down a set of stairs from the hotel. Bus stop right outside the entrance with a half hourly service into town, however, last bus at 21:00 so taxi back if you want a late one.
Stunning views, relaxed atmosphere, fantastic and helpful staff, amazing cocktails, reasonable prices, delicious food, perfect location everywhere is in walking distance and the beds are so so comfortable and a bath! I traveled with my son, I felt looked after and could not fault this hotel, thankyou! I have booked to return next month with my husband.A real home from home I love the Rock Hotel and Gibraltar
This is an adorable condo. It’s small, but very clean and modern, and contained everything we needed. Callum came by in person to welcome us, which was very appreciated. The very best thing about this place is that it’s on the top floor, with a SPECTACULAR view of the north side of the rock of Gibraltar from the balcony. I also especially appreciated the possibility of doing our laundry in the building.
Fantastic boat located on one of the marinas, Johnny and Tracey were fantastic hosts and made us both feel very much at home, particularly as we'd had to book at very very short notice due to a cancelled flight. If you're looking for something a little different this is the place to stay. Very convenient location for town and yet very peaceful at night. I would thoroughly recommend staying here again.
The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the town. You can park your car outside and not use it while you're there. It's right next to the main street with the shops and places to eat and just a few minutes walk to one of the marinas. The hotel room was really clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Excellent!
lovely hotel with super views over the bay of Gibraltar , we arrived early and we were given our room straight away . Antonio on reception was very helpful .
rooms are quite large super comfy beds spacious bathroom too , good bar service & excellent breakfast we left feeling refreshed & will definitely return
The studio is much better than any hotel in Gibraltar! Comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of towels. Host left a bottle of wine and water! Special shout about the rooftop pool,I had lovely time there in the end of November! And what a view from the roof!
The rooms were big with very comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. The bartenders and front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was centrally located. I thought it was a little pricey for what we got but it was a nice accommodation.
The Rock House is a short walk from the town centre, views from the balcony were amazing. Room was spacious, breakfast - plenty of choice.. Staff friendly and helpful.
Walk back to hotel is uphill, taxi is cheap if you need to get one.
Everything it was so clean you can eat from the floor !!!
Bed was very comfortable it was just what you needed for a great holiday we really recommend this apartment hotel easy to go every where in Gibraltar !!!’
Excellent studio apartment with all modern amenities provided. 10-15 mins walk from town centre, Ocean Village marina and Gibraltar airport.
