Convenient location close to the port as we were leaving on a cruise and we came a couple days early. Also, close to hop on hop off buses to go to Athens. Very clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent as well as the on-site restaurant where we had dinner one night. Loved the roof top pool! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We arrived at the hotel and checked in easily. No one offered us a safe key so I had to go down to get it when I saw it was not a combination safe. The shower doors are weird and the floor got soaking wet. The faucet was tricky but my husband figured it out finally. The electric tea kettle is nowhere near an outlet. The balcony was spacious and lovely. The bed was too soft. The Air conditioning was great. It was very cool in the room. It’s a 12 minute walk to the port but with our bags we chose to have the hotel get me a cab which was 12 euros. It was fine and a really nice cab driver Yiannis came. All in all it’s a clean simple hotel and near the port.

Very close to the ferries.
Very close to the ferries. Easy access to Athens centre by tram. Tain extremely close. The beach is close by. An easy walk to shopping districts . We had lunch at a little cafe close to our hotel. The people were friendly and even helped us make a hairdresser appointment. It is evident that the area is undergoing refurbishment.
Things are looking up!

I wish I could have experienced Piraeus, I travel a lot and so does lots of my friends. But I wasn't given the opportunity to stay there. My money was just taken. With no accommodation. Even for my need of a room on my return to Greece on Sunday June 23rd, 2024.

If you are arriving from a cruise.
If you are arriving from a cruise. It’s the perfect place to stay. As it’s just a few yard from the port. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. But if you prefer to stay within the city center. It’s nine or ten stop from city center via metro.

I can't comment on Piraeus as a destination in its own right. Like most people I pass through it on the way to or from a ferry. It's a convenient place to overnight but isn't the most attractive part of Athens.

A tip is to get a ticket for the Acropolis then go back later. There was a long line to get in once we got to the top, the wait time was 3 hours to enter. We were not able to enter.

Piraeus is a work-a-day town with nothing special to see.
Piraeus is a work-a-day town with nothing special to see. The main reason people stay here is to take the ferry or a cruise ship. We stayed at the Glaros Hotel, which is a basic accommodation that I would not stay at again. I recommend staying in Athens or another local town.
Our first stop for our vacation in Greece, and it's very practical if you arrive just from the airport. The hotel is clean with large rooms. The staff are so helpful and very accomodating. It was an excellent stay!
Location is very near the port of athens (piraeus). The hotel is modern and extremely clean. It was great for my overnight stay so that I may board my early ferry for the greek islands.
