Kampos is a nice area full of older mansions, many restored for use as bed and breakfast. The mansions typically have high walls, and extensive gardens inside the courtyards, full of trees and flowers. It is generally a quiet area, very quaint, and close to major roads leading south, north, and west, not far from the capital city and the airport. We ate at a variety of establishments, both in the nearby village and on the coast. All had fresh seafood and local dishes and the prices were very reasonable. We didn't find a place anywhere that could be considered a "tourist trap."VerlinUnited States of America

The smell of the citrus blossoms was heavenly! The establishment is located in a citrus garden and is a gorgeous building, renovated beautifully. The room was spacious and clean, we quickly had the hot water and the pressure was also good. Pantelis was a great host, it was like visiting a friend's house. He also kindly let us check-in early. Sure I will come again and stay here during the summer time as well.

Breakfast was made up with local products much of which was within eyesight of your breakfast table. The walled property would be a safe environment for those with small children.

Just 10 minutes to Chios center, airport and ideal to start the journey to the south of the island. The narrow streets of Kampos are lovely. Travelling by car, ask in advance where to park.
