The staff and facilities here were great. I loved the location and the fact that it's a family owned/operated spot. Of the 3 places I stayed at in Guatamala this was my favorite and I would absolutely book a stay here again. Additionally they supported me in getting a shuttle out of Pana for the airport the day I left and without them setting me up with the right logistics I would've missed my flight. I looked into booking through a nearby hostel and not only was it far more expensive but in reading reviews their shuttles take 2-3 hours longer with the stops they take.
A Paradise on earth! I spent two wonderful nights at El Jardin secreto, but I wish I could spend a month here! The garden is absolutely breathtaking and has a great view on the lake. Clemente from the staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful!
You do have to know that the town itself is a good 15 min walk up the hill (faster with a Mototaxi) but there are a few restaurants and tiendas near the hotel.
