Location was amazing. Room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the harbor. Breakfast in the garden was tasty and relaxing. We went on the off-season so it was very quiet – which we also loved.

Perfect location in Hvar, just a few steps from the ferry and on the quieter edge of town. The rooms look onto a small beach and a monastery. The rooms (although on the small side) are nicely decorated and beds comfy and all have a sea view. The included breakfast was very good.

Lovely hotel, pool area is gorgeous and brilliant breakfasts in the morning! The location was brilliant, I’ve been to Hvar a few times but my first time staying here and would stay here from now on! Very nice mix of family and friends here as well. There are a few ways to access this hotel and can access by car from the harbour or a lovely walk but is very hilly

Hvar is the largest city on the Croatian island of the same name within the Adriatic Sea. The wildly undulating coastline formed a natural harbour here, a fact which didn’t go unnoticed by the Venetians, who captured it as part of their empire. The Venetian Fortress sits atop a hill and 13th-century ramparts descend to the old town.
Another castle from Napoleonic times is on a different hill offering beautiful views over red roofs towards the offshore Pakleni islands sheltering the port. Ferries link Hvar to neighbouring Brač and Vis islands, Split and Ancona in Italy.
Given the size of the city, the amount of Hvar accommodation is staggering, and Booking.com offers everything from luxury hotels with pools to cheap guest houses and beachfront apartments. Although most beaches are rocky, their scenic setting and warm turquoise waters are still a draw.
At the heart of the city is the largest square in Dalmatia. Restaurants and bars spill out onto its cobbles, ending at St Stephen’s Cathedral with its see-through belltower. Around the same time the cathedral was going up, one of Europe’s oldest theatres was constructed in the waterfront Arsenal. The Loggia is the only remain of the Governor’s Palace, and the Hvar Heritage Museum helps to put all this in context.

Beautiful old town.
Beautiful old town. Spectacular view of many surrounded island from the Napoleon trail. The city provided plenty of seating benches throughout the city and rural. I visited other towns in this island that have the same relaxing standards. Thanks to the Croatia government.
However, October was not a good month to get access to island tours and most restaurants. I was told that April to September is when the businesses open fully.

I only went to the old town, arriving by ferry in the evening. Absolutely beautiful but even in October it was way, way over touristed. I decided to stop contributing to the problem myself by changing my plans and leaving early the next morning.

Hvar is incredibly charming and I wish we could have stayed a few more days. It's a high energy environment with young and older tourists alike, gorgeous historic spots like the Fort and really great shopping (dresses, jewelry, pretty handbags on trend all reasonably priced from a Boston perspective).

Hvar is for you if you love being near the water and sitting in the sunshine. Things i wish I’d taken, more cash, many places operate on a cash only basis and they cash machines charge up to €10 to withdraw from. The cheapest bakeries which are also delicious are near the bus station. Bring insect repellent and insect bite treatments and also bring your own sunscreen as it is incredibly expensive to purchase it on the island.
Take shoes you can comfortably walk up and down stairs in and on cobbled streets.
Best places to east for me were Kantun, Coffee snob, sweet treats bakery and Fig Hvar.

Hvar has the most beautiful water I have ever seen, if you take a trip with a taxi boat to one of the smaller island, you'll have a wonderful time. There's a nude beach where fortunately not a lot of people go to cause they're scared of nakedness.
Its super party touristy in the main town. Rich british boys and old white men.. everything is super expensive. There's no buses driving around the island so you'll have to rent a scooter or walk a long distance.
I frequently travel to Hvar and the location is perfect, lovely neighborhood with a gorgeous perspective of the Pakleni Islands, a short walk from center, close to beach bars/restaurants, a supermarket stones throw away.
The hosts (very welcoming) used to work at a luxury hotel and brings that level of quality & service to her apartments (clean and fresh). The apartment has great natural light. I had to take some video meetings and the internet was reliable and there is a decent work station to work from.
Wonderful! Brand new with luxury furniture, spacious and comfortable in the most prestigious location on the island.
We felt like in the movie, as the villa itself is set on the archeological site, and it has a mini-museum with antiques.
The wine cellar is fantastic, with the best Istrian wines from the famous Meneghetti winery.
If you like the luxury Mediterranean style, this is The Place!
We will be back for sure!
the view from the balcony was the best ! the apartment was big - big kitchen, big bathroom, and big bedroom. it was a hike up a hill with luggage but once you got settled in the walk to town was lovely. close to markets if you wanted to eat in or just a short walk into town. the hosts were lovely and helpful with checking in. if you want to forgo the big chain hotels and get a taste of Croatian hospitality - this is the place !
We have been to the town of Hvar 2 years ago, went for a day trip to Palmižana and decided that we will come back one day here for a holiday, it happened sooner than we thought but it was a very good decision. Paradiso is a unique B&B on the island, there are no hotels, a few rooms maybe. You have to follow certain rules for electricity and water usage but that is normal here, everything else is a fairy tale..
Between the harbor view from our room window and from the roof top bar, there is no hotel in Hvar that can say it has a better location. Staff were professional and friendly, and the free breakfast was above average, located where there was another panoramic view of Hvar harbor. Facilities were completely modern, with a luxurious room that wasn't terribly large, but quite adequate for two.
Gorgeous family hotel with beautiful two beaches near by… nothing was too much for the staff … picked us up from Hvar port & dropped us off when our stay was over.
They also offer to take us into town Hvar for €10 which is very affordable as the taxis will charge more … only a 6 min drive to Hvar town … breakfast & Coffee was delicious
Breakfast was in the next hotel, 3 min walking. the breakfast was great, and met the expectations. The location of Riva rooms is the best in the island, exactly where the night life happens. Room was super comfortable and clean. the nose does not affect your sleep as the window has a proper acoustic noise break system
Bruno was such a sweet host!! It was some of the best hospitality that I’ve experienced in a while. The property had the basics of what you need for a comfortable stay. It’s also close to a wonderful beach. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who plans to stay in Hvar!
Natalya and her sister and all f the staff were great. The price for their rooms is much lower than it should be. Truly a gem that was the best hotel my wife and I stayed at during our 5 plus weeks in Italy and Croatia. We couldn’t give higher praise for Hotel Nora Hvar.
Very charming hotel in a wonderful location over looking the gorgeous city of Hvar snd the Adriatic Sea. Nice restaurants near by and lively streets with live music. Main square and attractions all within walking distance while enjoying the amazing Hvar picturesque city.
The location is great! A short walk from the center of Hvar, so the area is quiet for a good nights sleep. The private beach of the hotel is great! The rooms are very clean, and the beds are good. Also the staff is very helpful and friendly!
Self contained with pool and pool bar. Food was reasonable priced at the hotel and pretty decent in quality and breakfast was a decent spread of options.
We got upgraded to a pool view which was a nice touch Close to the beach bars
one of the best location you can get while staying in Hvar
restaurants and main street literally 30 second walk away
the staff were really nice, helpful and kind.
i would recommend this stay to everyone :)
This is a fantastic hotel. The house is quite new with very nice and comfortable furniture. The staff is amazing, so friendly!!! And the hotel is perfectly situated to the sea and to the center of Hvar.
The area is quiet and they are helpful with setting up transfers to and from the town. It is a fine hotel 10 minutes away from Hvar town next to a beautiful beach.
Fantastic location approx 5 mins walk along promenade to Hvar town. Amazing views from property. Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. Pool area is amazing.
Great pool, situated near a lovely little beach. Easy walk into Hvar old town and the ferry. Loved that the hotel meets the ferries and collects luggage.
