Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find...

Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find everything you need just in few steps. Big grocery store just next to the bus station, big outdoor market place, fish market, promedande, countless number of restaurants, public transport and several beaches. The only downside is that during the peak season it is really crowded.

Trogir is a beautiful town with a very special atmosphere.

Trogir is a beautiful town with a very special atmosphere. We especially loved the Riva — the lively waterfront promenade that fills with tourists every evening. There’s a wide variety of restaurants and bars where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks. What really caught our eye were the stunning views of luxury yachts docked along the Riva. The town is full of street artists and performers, giving it a vibrant and lively vibe. It’s the perfect destination for those seeking a mix of cultural experiences and relaxed socializing.

A small but very beautiful town!

A small but very beautiful town! Everything you need was close by, shops, restaurants, bars, the sea, the amazing market, we liked the town, it looked like a little Venice, although the restaurants were a bit more expensive but the food was excellent. The most popular restaurant that I will definitely visit is called Royal Restaurant, and I was expecting a slightly nicer beach, there was an awful lot of algae there but we went to PANTANA beach From Trogir it is very easy to get to Split, Medena or Ciovo, either by boat or bus, Split is an hour away, otherwise it takes about 30 minutes. If anyone wants to go by boat, I definitely recommend being there at least 40 minutes early at the ferry stop, let's call it that, otherwise it may happen that you won't even get on the boat and you will have to wait another 2 hours. We arrived 30 minutes early and fuuuuu the crowd behind us and in front of us is brutal, back the same. And as for families with children, definitely a boat trip or a visit to the castle, there are trampolines near the castle that they will definitely enjoy, I also went to the beaches to look for shells with my little one, there are lots of playgrounds and a beautiful promenade with boats where there are activities every evening. We managed to get a picture taken with a parrot on your arm for 5€, with its head everywhere... and you will also like the markets, there are lots of toys. The little one liked the Pantana beach because there were huge inflatables on the water, but they charged 7€ per person per hour which I thought was stupid but it doesn't matter

We really enjoyed everything about Trogir! The old town is beautiful and cozy, with a great atmosphere. Prices were reasonable, the food was delicious, and Croatian beer was surprisingly good too. Even taxi prices were fair!

Trogir is a wonderful island full of many interesting things. There are amazing places to eat and shop. The town has so many little streets you can wander and look at. The history is right at your fingertips. Be sure to have good walking shoes. The common places are filled with people from all over the world sharing in the ambiance. The Croatian people are the nicest we have met in our travels. Don't forget to have gelato! It's a must for everyday.

The accommodation is very close to Copacabana beach, the hosts are kind and willing to help you. I also used one of the washing machines. The kitchen of the apartment is equipped with everything you need. We liked the location of the accommodation the most, you had the beach 2 steps away, we went by boat-taxi to the old town of Trogir and then by another boat to Split. There are free parking spaces in front of the villa, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and bakeries are nearby.

Bit of a struggle to find (Zig zag back streets from locations address), host has no English and I no Croatian but we got on fine after my Schnapps welcome (or whatever it was !) . Location great for sightseeing, restaurants, bars, old town, etc. About 20 min walk to bus station for airport or almost anywhere in Croatia. Other reviews said no aircon - but there was, and it worked. Don't think taking a car would be a good idea - but who would to a Croatian old town anyway ?

Wonderful property in the heart of the Old Town of Trogiir. Everything was superb and the host is honest, intelligent and charming. ( a typical croatian) He also , is the proud owner of the "ALCA" restaurant in the old town of Trogir. I am English and have travelled all over Croatia 79 times over 29 years.
