    Selca is located in the eastern part of the island of Brač, in the interior of the island, about 1 km from the sea at an altitude of 114 m. On the coast are the tourist zones Puntinak and Ružmarin located around the beautiful beaches of Radonja, Spilice and Žirje, which offer a wide selection of quality private accommodation in apartments and holiday homes. Selca is first mentioned in 1184 as a shepherd's settlement and later as a stonemasonry center on the island of Brač. The symbol of Selca is stone, which enabled the development of the stone industry, from which beautiful houses, churches and castles surrounded by beautiful parks. A particularly suggestive location is Glavica, where the old Croatian church of St. Nicholas of XI. century with a dome, above an abandoned old quarry. Selca and Sumartin are also known for their home-cooked food (lamb, cheese, wine, honey) and the rich offer of beautiful restaurants, which remain in the memories not only due to the appearance but also the rich domestic and international gastronomic offer.     We honestly loved all about our stay at Villa Gurstina, the facilities, the outside pool area, the location, the village of Selca, the hosts Pero & Monika. We had a beautiful perfect stay and would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here. The pool area was amazing, the pool so clean and the water lovely. Not cold at all. The village has a gorgeous lovely restaurant, great atmosphere, food and prices. Thank you Pero so much for your hospitality.

    The hoasts are nice and caring. The view is beautiful (sea and mountains) and the location is in the centre of Selca. Everything is very new and clean. The kitchen has everything you need (sharp knifes, pots and pans...). A little highlight for us were the little cute and funny kittens living in the garden and the beautiful fig tree with fresh fruits.

    The apartment is detached from the rest of the houses, so you have the peace of mind regarding that. The closed beach is really near, basically next door, and the others are close by also. The apt is specious, new, bathroom is excellent with a walk-in glass shower worthy of nigh-end hotels.

    Rafas house is a good place for vacation. The apartment has everything you need. Selca is a charming quiet town close to the sea and Sumartin port. The owner is very friendly. We were served with delicious homemade pancakes which the kids just couldn't get enough of!

    Location was great. To Selca center only 5 min on foot and 7 min to Sumartin by car. The hosts were super friendly and responded to our questions very fast. Four separate bedrooms and four separate bathrooms was the key moment why we chosen this villa.
