The property is central to Vela Luka’s restaurants, cafes and boats that take you to various islands. All for a reasonable price. It’s super clean and modern, house is made of stone but the rooms are newly renovated and very clean. The owner Mara is so warm and friendly, she offered Rakija upon arrival which was really special. Will definitely come back for a visit.

    A great little town with much fewer visitors than Dubrovnik for example, a very pleasant town and harbour to wander round with plenty of bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours, easy to get ferries to other islands or just across the bay to a swimming spot.

    The place is really nice and very well located.

    The place is really nice and very well located. However, the WiFi in our room didn't work during our stay. The people at the management office were diligent in finding a solution although the result was not positive at all. As you can imagine, not having WiFi at all in our room was an unpleasant surprise.

    It is a wonderful town with great restaurants and bars.

    It is a wonderful town with great restaurants and bars. You can find well-equipped groceries, a drugstore, and everything you need for your stay here. There is a beautiful boulevard by the marina. You can find nice beaches within walking distance. If you have a car, there are plenty of outstanding beaches that you can drive to in less than 15 minutes. Additionally, you can take a boat taxi to visit the nearby, wonderful Proizd Island.

    Amazing house, in a nice location far away from the noise of the town. Hypermarket is available in 10 minutes by car. A boat or jetski is worth reserving in advance. Real transformation both for adults and kids... Unforgettable vacation.

    Nice little coastal town, with less to see compared to Korčula city. Nice to be based for exploring rest of the island and the island Proizd. Remnants of industrial times when the city was in it's peak are visible throughout. Vela Spila is also a must see.

    Lots of friendly, locally-owned restaurants and bars with great character. Wonderful local food cooked in traditional style at numerous restaurants. The food was delicious everywhere we ate - all fresh local fish, seafood and vegetables in vast quantities - every serve can easily be shared by 2 people. A large range of Croatian wines were available at the restaurants and bars at very good prices. It’s very economical to wine and dine in Vela Luca. Swimming in the crystal clear sea off the rocky beaches is wonderful. Plenty of walking and cycling trails out of town into the countryside of the island. Fishing and boating activities are extensive. We enjoyed the walk and visit to the Vela Spila cave for a glimpse of life 20,000 years ago.

    Anna was the best host ever - let’s just say I ended up in Korčula on accident… she was so happy to get me last minute and was very communicative. Aside from the host, the apartment was BRAND new, new appliances, and gorgeous. It was easily accessible and centrally located. And beautiful view of the church!

    Very friendly host who picked us up and dropped us off at Vela Luka as we did not have a car . Immaculately clean. Awesome terrace with sea views. Close to beach and access to coastal walking path to Vela Luka. Comfy bed. A pity we couldn't stay longer. Definitely recommended
