The bathroom was very clean and modern and the water pressure was awesome.
The only thing the that the bathroom needs is towels racks and a place to set ones soap and shampoo in the shower.

Ennis was a lovely town with plenty of shopping and entertainment.
We stayed in Ireland for 10 nights at various hotels and this was by far the most comfortable bed and best night sleep we had.
The Pub was awesome and the locals told us that this is where they go to eat which means a lot when your are traveling and looking for good food.
If we make it back to Ireland, we will definitely stay at this hotel.

ennis was a smaller irish town with excellent restaurants and lively pubs. it is clean, with enough to do and no traffic. everything was within walking distance of the house and an easy drive to the cliffs of moher and ring of kerry. the town is not touristy which we like. we met our hosts at a local pub, kelly's and met some of their friends and family. what more could you ask for! anyone planning a trips to ireland should consider flying into shannon and avoiding the capital city of dublin. though dublin is a very nice city with a great vibe, it is expensive, crowded with more tourists and more cars and traffic. stay on the western coast and enjoy galway westport, the dingle peninsula, killarney, cork, cobh, kinsale and clonakilty. though we didnt run into big crowds when we went in mid may i think march and april would be even less crowded. prepare yourself for cool weather and rain and you will love ireland!

Perfect location for the West Coast ~ along train line so we were able to come from Dublin and able to have 2 days to visit Galway & Limerick. Ennis is a lovely gem of a town. Tiddy & friendly town too. People of Ireland were very welcoming.
Clare Museum provided historical information. Carmel & Maria were very helpful with providing maps of Ennis & towns nearby as well as train schedules. They also had additional information about specific attractions & events nearby as well as available hours.
Pub grub (Knox’s, Brogan’s,Poet’s Corner) & music was great & enjoyed the local cafe ( Cafe Aroma) too.
Liked visiting some of the shops ~ especially the Book Store, News Agency, & Woolen Shop. I followed the Ennis Walking tour~ really liked seeing the Friary, Cathedral, the market. Library ~ recently updated on line site for researching ancestors. Although a nice small library, I understand that a new larger library is being built which will be a great benefit for citizens & visitors too.
We hired a taxi from Ennis for longer trip to Dingle, the Slea Head Loop and for other day to check out Craggaunowen and an area that our family possibly came from. Mike our taxi driver was very helpful & knowledgeable about the area.

Ennis is a great town to start a trip along the West Coast.
Ennis is a great town to start a trip along the West Coast. It is not far from Shannon Airport and has great pubs and shops there. The food in the pubs and restaurants is excellent and you will find Irish music most nights in one of the pubs in town. Very accessible to all of the beautiful sites in County Clare

Ennis is a great, colorful town in a central location with great walkability. There is a lot to do in town or outside of town. It's not too far from Lahinch and the coast for day trips. It is very busy on the weekends.
Great location in the centre of Ennis yet quiet. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. Special mention for the friendly night porter. We were attending a local music festival and unexpectedly arrived back at the hotel on the early hours of the morning only to be greeted with a friendly welcoming smile.
It was spotless and very quiet. Lovely view out to the river. Was great to have the option of heating food and sitting at a table. We’d gotten food in the SuperValu in ennistymon and we were wrecked when we checked in so hot food in the comfort of our own space was really appreciated.
A well presented hotel with a warm welcoming feel. The furnishings and decor are very in keeping the with the age and style of this property. The room was very nice, quiet and clean with super comfy beds. The staff were friendly and helpful. Its situated bang in the centre of Ennis
Pauline and Brian were the most enjoyable part of our stay at Glencove. They both took time to treat us to the charming people of Ireland. The breakfast was as good as it gets - a real complete Irish th extras such as the strawberries.
Lovely old house with lots of history - the host was incredible as well, dropping my friend and I into town so we didn't need to order a taxi. If I stay in Ennis again, I will definitely return. Nice room, quiet, lovely breakfast.
Stayed 1 night as a stopover on way to Co Kerry. Parked close to the hotel entrance. Staff were friendly and provided great info on places to eat and drink in Ennis. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was clean.
