Guwahati is the gateway to north east India. With river Brahmaputra to the north and the hills of Meghalaya to the south, Guwahati is a city of temples, rivers and hills. Travelers can go to nearby Pobitora for a sureshot glimpse of the world famous one-horned rhino in a natural setting. Avisit to Kamakhya temles and the smallest inhabited river island of Umananda is a must.
