The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was a literal feast. There was so much food and so many options. Dinner the previous evening was very good. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Very professional.

The location is great. Minutes from the airport and the hotel has a shuttle that runs every hour. The breakfast buffet was very good and the service was excellent.

beautiful space, rooms are very well done all around (bed, bathroom, design) & the rooftop hot pool with invigorating wind is bliss after long flights — staff are kind & super helpful on arrival, ride to the airport was great for our family & we slept deeply & well & got going with a bit of good coffee in the AM.

Everyone I came in contact with at the airport spoke English - a big plus for me as I don't speak Icelandic. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful to me. I had fish and chips from one of the restaurants and it was very good. There is a "Meeting Point" where I was told to go upon arriving at the airport and someone came and got me from there for wheelchair assistance, Very efficient. Unfortunately, there was a gate change for my aircraft and the wheelchair people didn't get the message so I had to push my chair - using it like a walker - and when the gate agent saw me, he was upset that I didn't have someone pushing me. He set me down and pushed me himself.

The town is situated near to the airport.
The town is situated near to the airport. We had spent the afternoon exploring the peninsula there, going right to the tip. There are two lighthouses there and a local history museum. (Free admission at time of visit). It was worth the visit. There is also a restaurant attached.
In the town, there is a main street with a number of shops/bars/restaurants, along with a supermarket. There is also a promenade for strolling along.

Keflavik is easily overlooked by many whom just go straight to the capital but honestly its such a nice little town, there's enough to see and do to last a decent amount of time and in comparison at least for me was more fun to explore than the capital!

Did not travel to Keflavik, we were there at the airport for a stopover. Thought we could tour a little as we had 10 hours but the cost of the bus fare and taxi was very expensive and for a family of four we decided to stay put. The flights are cheap but everything else, if you are on a budget prepare yourself to spend a lot of money on food and transportation. Very clean place, their tap water is amazing, air is clean. Would love to go back to explore but will have to save a lot to be able to fully enjoy Iceland.

Good location near the airport.
Good location near the airport. We moved here the day before our early morning flight. The friendly lady in reception stored our bags and called a taxi to bring us to Blue Lagoon. We learned that the hotel had a special deal with taxis so we booked the same taxi to bring us back, which gave us a bit of a discount. We took their free airport shuttle very early the next morning. The driver who was also in charge of reception was nice and friendly too.

Don't arrive after 2200hrs.
Don't arrive after 2200hrs. You won't get the room you've paid for. Don't rely on information from staff. They give you inaccurate advice re buses etc. The hotel is a 55km bus ride from Reykjavik - a once hourly service - or a $200 taxi ride each way. There is not even a vending machine to buy a softdrink, crisps etc. This place is an expensive bed and a shower and a 6km (aka AUD$59) taxi ride from the airport. Dont waste your money!
The host and staff are very kind. We reached in the morning due to return car to nearby car rental. After completing house keeping, they let us check in early and gave the ground floor room.
They provided free shuttle to airport and driver was punctual. Breakfast is ready from 3am.
Location close to restaurants and the next door restaurant gave discount too.
Kitchen facilities for cooking.
Value for money, good choice for night before flight.
As it was just an overnight layover for next day fight it was in the perfect location. The staff were lovely at the front desk. There is no airport shuttle but the hotel does have an arrangement with a taxi company to return to the airport at a better rate than coming to the hotel from the airport. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet, too. The lobby area is nicely set up with a restaurant and bar area.
We liked the convenience of being near the Keflavik airport. We liked that the B&B provided one-way service either to or from the airport. We liked the staff that checked us in, and the driver who drove us to the airport. The shuttle to the airport was on time with what we requested. We didn't use the breakfast provided as we had such an early departure for the airport, but the provisions looked adequate.
It was very quiet. Everything was spotless. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and attended by staff to keep it fresh. We had not expected much from a dinner in an airport hotel restaurant ...but were pleasantly surprised at the choice of entrees made to order. The beds were more comfortable than any in our other 4 Iceland hotels. Very convenient for our morning flights...will stay again next trip
Close proximity to the airport with sea views. Quiet residential location. Self check in and out so we didn't see any staff, not even at breakfast. Hotel is clean and well decorated throughout. We had a good sized room with a comfortable bed, bathroom had a good shower. Breakfast available from 0400hrs and is self service with a varied choice. Ideal for the airport and local restaurants.
This was a great hotel, perfectly located for the airport. Loads of parking, comfortable beds, breakfast from 4am which was incredible.. 24 hour coffee, tea, water etc. My son was delighted that it was located on the old American airbase and kept the feel of the original building. I would definitely use this hotel again when arriving late or leaving early from Keflavik.
Close to the airport and only a 25 minute walk to the centre of Keflavik where there are supermarkets and a few restaurants. Very friendly hosts, very clean and a great breakfast. We had the added bonus of seeing whales and a school of dolphins along the coastal walk which is virtually outside the B&B
The room was a very decent size with plenty of room. The hotel was conveniently located about a 7 minute drive from the airport, so we stayed the night before our early morning flight. There was plenty of parking. There was a restaurant although we didn't eat there so can't comment.
The staff was nice, decent breakfast, brand new room and I could check in early. The hotel is only 3 mins walk to the airport terminal, so excellent base for early morning flights, and taxi from the hotel to Blue Lagoon costs around 55€ (cheap compared to 150€ from Reykjavik).
Very close to Keflavik international airport, very friendly receptionist and shuttle bus driver. The large room. It is ok to stay if you need to catch a flight in the morning. The hotel is located in what used to be old Air-force barracks, so the rooms are rather large.
The entrance of the property and the lounge is very stylish, looks amazing and they have good breakfast.
Close to airport 10 min drive close to local shops and restaurants 10-20 min walk
The clinic service was very good also
Other good point is they have parking
Hotel was nice and clean. Room was quite spacious. Breakfast was standard. Free shuttle to airport. There were 2 restaurants (1 with the hotel and 1 close by). If you don't fancy them, you can grab bus 55 to the nearest town for more options.
The location of this hotel is convenient for people wanting to stay close to the airport. There were lots of restaurants nearby and a grocery store was a few minutes away. Breakfast of fruit, granola bars, yogurt and juice were provided.
The hotel is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. There is plenty of free parking and the breakfast was excellent. The location the Keflavik airport is less than 10 minutes drive time.
It’s an interesting theme: Jazz hotel. Their toiletries, bathroom and breakfast room are style to fit that label. 8 restaurants nearby ( walking distance). Supermarket as well ( Bonus).
rich & yummy breakfast, already starting at 4am
located north of Keflavik, 5-10min to airport by car
familiar hotel with traditional restaurant (unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it)
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Furnishings were new and well maintained. Breakfast was very good. Appreciated the shuttle back to the airport.
