The property was very clean. The location was also excellent. I was traveling for work and it was so easy after work to get nice meal or sometime super quick. I also enjoyed going for spritz just down the street at a lounge there were many to choose from.

Caserta is worth visiting to see the Royal Palace and Gardens.
However, we did not allow enough time to visit them properly.
We ate at Punto 17, a short walk from our hotel. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent, authentic Italian.

It’s worth seeing the Reggia itself.
It’s worth seeing the Reggia itself. It takes about an hour. However, we did not visit the massive gardens. There are shuttles, bicycles etc. for the more lively amongst you; that’s worthwhile, I’m sure! You pay extra, of course, for the transport. The gardens looked impressive and were included in the entry fee. Shopping in town (Portofino for linen shirts, for example), lunch (Zio Pepe Pescheria) were well worth it! 😍. It’s easy to walk around but do use Google to search for the interesting shopping and restaurants to maximize your time.

The palace was amazing, the town was great but it is also a quiet relaxed place but close to Naples, Caiazzo, etc. if we’d know it was as close to places we would have booked 3-5 nights there. The breakfast was great.

We went to see the castle.
We went to see the castle. Apart from the castle and grounds, which are spectacular and worth the trip is you are an architecture and garden enthusiast, the town itself didn’t seem to have much going on. There is an historic center and a bit of shopping, but Caserta itself is not an old city. We did not go to the old town, Caserta Vecchio, which is a few kilometers away our purpose in going was to visit the castle & Grounds, which did not disappoint.

Home of the #1 pizzeria in the world for 2023. and one of the biggest royal residences in Europe.
There are also a couple more pizzerias in town and in the near area that are listed on the World's top 50 list so if you like vera pizza napoletana, this is the place to visit.
30min by car from Napoli, 1h ride to Amalfi.
Located a short walk from the most extraordinary Caserta palace that requires at least three hours to visit. Truly an ‘art’ hotel with skilful landscapes painted directly onto walls and two tiny chairs glued to the bedroom wall betraying a wry sense of humour. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, the surrounding streets coming alive in the evening. Breakfast delivered to our room was as delicious as it was surprising. Super helpful staff managed, with the help of Google translate, send us safely on our way.
This was our fourth time visiting this hotel as we always use it when visiting family in the area . It is clean and quaint and walking into the old town for dinner is very picturesque. There are many restaurants to choose from . There is a supermarket at the bottom of the hill which sells mostly anything you need . Parking can be an issue but we were always able to find somewhere to park . There is also an overflow car park across the road .
Hotel clean but old fashioned need lot work done. The room too hot to sleep in the summer as air con not work very well. Photo look nice but in reality not that nice .always look dark. Restaurant experience staff in Restaurant very miserable not friendly. Location no good middle nowhere out Naples .nothings too or eat around if u don't have the car..I won't recommend if u travelling with kid.pr u don't hv car.
The location of the hotel is excellent if you want to visit the Reggia. But their strong point is the staff. Signora Carla was super helpful in helping us to organize our visit. the food was also great.
