Opposite the entrance to the Pompeii excavations, this hotel is in the heart of the town, just a 5 minute walk from the main Piazza. We have stayed many times at Hotel Forum. It is a quiet oasis in the middle of 'touristy' Pompeii. The hotel has beautiful gardens filled with citrus trees. The rooms are soundproofed so you are never bothered by outside noises. We love the staff, the quality of the rooms (spacious and well-appointed), and the food. Plus, you cannot beat the location. You are only a few steps from one of the entrances to Scavi and from the town of Pompei which has a beautiful square and many food and shopping options. We cannot wait to return!

Set in its extensive garden, 1640 feet from the Pompei ruins, Hotel Diana offers free WiFi in all rooms and a shared terrace. Private parking is free onsite. Hotel Diana saved my 50th birthday! We were stuck for 2 days in Napoli, not able to take the ferry, because of storm. Finally I decided to book there for 11 Persons and it was simply great how they received us and soothed our nerves with their friendliness. The rooms were very clean and like picture. Not too fancy, all very new. After the birthday dinner in a restaurant just around the corner, it was no problem to sit in the lobby and have a drink. Thank you so much! And I can highly recommend this hotel!

Just 5 minutes from the archaeological site, this hotel takes its name from the ruins of an ancient Pompeian villa located on the same street. Absolutely fantastic for Pompei, and the train to either Sorrento and Naples! Fantastic value for money! Will be definitely staying again! The only downside is I didn’t try the pool, weather and how busy the days were but will be jumping in next time!

La Primula is perfectly located for nearby shops, bars and restaurants as well as 3 train stations . The place was impeccably clean and Marco the host went out of his way to help us with directions to places to visit, reservations at restaurants and general help and assistance. He was so helpful! Pompei is a great town to base yourself in to explore the whole of the Bay of Naples and surrounding area. A little advice - try to learn at least a few basic greetings in Italian. The towns people did not speak a lot of English but were so helpful when we tried to speak Italian with them. Everyone we met was really friendly and interested in us.
the ruins are as amazing as I had hoped. We spent two whole days in the park, to really have the time to take it all in and not be rushed. the town is friendly and lively - just felt the quality and price of the restaurants was off, we've travelled all over Italy and this town felt like they were providing menus at top prices, then dishing up poor quality products - go for the cheaper eats where the locals are and you'll do much better. Cafe in the ruins itself, is in the forum and pretty decent! Overall, would recommend you stay overnight and take time to see the ruins properly rather than the flying visits most take, why come all this way and not see it properly?
The town itself was lovely , in the bay of Naples with mountains all around. The town has a great railway station and fast regular trains to Naples. Lots of cafes and places to eat. The Pompeii archaeological site was so much more than I ever expected . Took all day to get around . Fantastic experience and would recommend everyone to go and visit. Mount Vesuvius is 15 minutes away and you can go up to the crater rim and walk around. Trips are whilst from the town centre . Pompeii is a must
My wife and I have been interested in Pompei and the Vesuvius catastrophe fir many years. We have been to many archiological sites in many countries and we were thrilled to finally make it to Pompei in our later years. We can't do the climbing and hiking we were able to do at one time but our guide took that into consideration. The painstak ing work that was required of thousands of workers to build Pompei and then excavate it amazes us.
Pompeii was quiet after Naples and easy to reach by train. January is cold but the sun was shining and we had a wonderful trip to the Amalfi coast from Pompeii. The archeological site can be covered in a few hours including the museum. A lot of restaurants are closed in winter but we still found places to eat. The train station is convenient.
Following a business conference in Sorrento I wanted to visit ruins at Pompeii and Herculaneum. B&B PompeiiLog looked like a good value place to stay and it proved far better than I had expected. Situated a mere 3 minute walk from Villa Regina train station on main line between Sorrento & Naples it means its one stop to Pompeii ruins and four stops to Herculaneum and Vesuvius. Roberto the owner is a lovely guy who does everything to make guests welcome from making a great cappucino to breakfast to lifts to town if required. My room was spacious even for a single occupant and ideal for a couple with big bed and ensuite shower/toilet. WiFi worked a treat so I could watch movies in my room too. As weather was cold I used the heat function on the A/C unit and room warmed up fast so was very cosy and I slept well. Only downside is no local supermarket nearby as stores opposite are furniture, bedroom and DIY stores. There is a McDonalds 1 minute walk away so hot food is available albeit its fast food. I stayed 2 nights and this place was perfect as a base camp from where to explore Pompeii and Herculaneum. Then a 40 minute train ride to Naples for a day sightseeing before going to the airport and home. I will visit in Summer with my wife and will stay here again for sure.

Pompei
Pompei Ruins de Charme is a fabulous property, but what makes it so special is the warm and friendly host, Dino. We had the Queen room with bath, and what a bath , it was huge! The bed was very comfortable and the property was extremely clean. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices and one of the best cappuccino we have had in Italy made by Dino. Wishing you all the best Dino for the birth of your son Giovanni. What a special day today will be.
Pompei
The room was very clean and with all the facilities anybody may need. I have to mention the insects nets (very effective against mosquitos) at the window and balcony because it is the only place in Italy were I found this. The breakfast was excellent. Not so close from the city center and restaurants, but there is a restaurant right in the courtyard that helped a lot. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Pompei
Good location nearby Pompei ruins (1 km) and train station (500m - easy way around or to Napoli). Comfortable large room with quality bed, nice shower, conditoner/heater, shared kitchen and private parking. Just perfect “value combo” for staying around as long as needed. The owner do his best to support you. My respect!
Location was very good. Restaurants, small stores nearby. Supermarket a few blocks away. Very close to the Piazza Anfiteatro entrance to Pompeii (best entrance for sightseeing since close to amphitheater & forum). Breakfast in the morning was good. Nice view of Mt Vesuvius from breakfast room.
Pompei
The location across from the Pompeii ruins and close to two train stations make it a great place to stay. The warm welcome by the staff and the cat gave the hotel a homely feeling. I did not partake in breakfast and was therefore glad that it was an option to omit breakfast from the price as well.
Pompei
this was an exceptional place to stay, brand new luxury room. The service provided by Angela was outstanding, always there to provide the information we needed and booking our taxis with a smile. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy. Pompei is a friendly town. Thanks again.
The location was clean, comfortable and near the train station and Pompei ruins. It was the best accommodation we stayed in Italy on our 12 days trip in several cities. I had low expectations regarding accommodation in this country, but it was acceptable for my standards.
Pompei
Antonella was the perfect host and couldn't have been kinder, more welcoming or more hospitable. We loved the room and had the best breakfast of our stay in Italy on the terrace with a view of Mount Vesuvius. Thank you! We would definitely book again.
Pompei
The best stay on our trip through Italy and a great start before embarking to Amalfi. Lovely host, great location and parking space for free - everything in walking distance Cannot recommend enough
Very good location near the train station for train Naples - Sorrento and entrance of Pompei ruins. Spacious room and kitchen with table and good air conditioning.
Amazing hospitality from the owners and staff. One of the best hotels and experiences I've had.
