We liked the pool, the view, and the authentic style. All of the staff was very nice but the owner was kind of rude.

Vico Equense is a small but lively town, very easily walkable, and with great connections to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento and more by train or taxi. We especially liked that it was not as crowded as other towns near the Amalfi Coast, yet has many opportunities to walk and see the surrounding area. We stayed at the Cubo Apartments, near the town center and loved it. We found some delightful walking paths, both down to the beach area and into the olive groves on the outskirts of town, as well as being able to walk the streets. We visited a number of restaurants, including La Salumaria, a great place for local beer, excellent appetizers and full meals, just off the town square. Gabrielle's is a popular walk-in place for sweets, sandwiches and gelatos, with excellent variety and service - a local favorite! A hidden jewel is the Museum of Minerology, also near the town center and with easy access. We spent several fascinating hours there, and were treated like special guests! We would go back to Vico Equense in a heartbeat!

Vico Equense is a charming town reaching from the coast up into the hills. It has plenty of restaurants ( a pizza restaurant which serves metre long pizzas )and stores and the best gelato place! The train will take you anywhere or take a bus but for sure wander the quaint streets and alleyways. Easy to fall in love with Vico.

Vico Equense is a charming little town with not too many tourists - at least not when we were there in April. The people were generally friendly and could speak english. It is a short 10 minute train trip from Vico Equense to Sorrento and about half an hour to Pompei.

Vico Equense is a small quiet town that is full of friendly and kind locals. Me and my family were so pleased that we picked Vico Equense over Sorrento for our stay. You will like Vico Equense if you like having a morning run up to the hill or down to the beach. We were so lucky that we could join the triennial Good Friday Procession at Vico Equense, it was just an amazing experience. If you like gelato (who doesn't!?), do try the brioche con gelato at Gelateria Gabrielle, it is so nice and you can choose two flavours! For restaurants, we love eating at Ristorante al buco; we went there twice during our one-week stay! Vico Equense is just a beautiful place, it doesn't take you long to get to the busy Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples Central. So yes, for us, just perfect!

Use local bus services and trains, cheap and reliable. Roads are choc-a-bloc!
Fab port, hire a boat to take you around the coast of Sorrento and Almalfi or take a ferry. It’s a great place and a lot quieter than Sorrento etc.

Vico Equense was the perfect launch point to see other places on the Amalfi Coast. The city itself is small, but has numerous restaurants, a beautiful beach and a lovely viewpoint and likely other attractions that I did not encounter. I chose this destination as I sought an affordable apartment with a kitchen for our stay. I love eating out while traveling, but I also greatly enjoy the food markets and being able to purchase local food and wine and enjoying it with a view - especially at the end of long day of sightseeing. Vico Equense is definitely a walking city. It is also incredibly easy to catch the train and/or bus to get to other sites. I would definitely stay here again.
The room was clean and tidy. Additional pillows and blankets were available directly without need to ask the reception.
The view from balcony (sea side) was breathtaking.
Although tricky to reach from Naples Airport or Central Train Station (1 hour + train ride with the Circumvesuviana) the hotel is less than 5 minutes away from the station.
Nearby bars and restaurant also make the location ideal (the Hotel also provides its own restaurant services).
The apartment is new, clean and well equipped. All we need already was in the apartment, any our addition request was immediately responded by owner. We enjoyed out stay from the very beginning to the very end. Thank you very much to Mary, she was very friendly, ready to help and client oriented. We definitely come back to apartment again if decide to return to Italy for vacation.
Vico Equense is located in the middle between visiting Napoli and Pompei and on the other side all the Amalfi coast.
The hosts, Maria and Pepe are wonderful people, and very helpful. They gave us recommendations for restaurants at Sorento and in Vico Equense (Mustaffa, was delicious) and even booked for us.
Pepe is a great chef and makes the most delicious Corneto for breakfast.
Everything about this place is fantastic. Small, quaint, location right in the Marina of Vico Equense. Wonderful views, several beach clubs within walking. The staff is amazing, breakfast every morning was very special. Will be staying here again, very short distance from the train station and restaurants in town, however they also have a full service restaurant onsite.
First what You see when you doing your first step to this place - how much work and love hosts put in it. Clean, comfortable, with unreal view from terrace, where every morning you have tasty breakfast. We arrived after long journey in Italy, and stopped in different B&B, but this was the BEST! We really be happy to stay longer! Grazie mille! It is more then 10!
Frederico met us with a friendly smile and the offer of a drink after our journey. He was very thorough in showing us all the facilities in our apartment. We loved having the room tided daily and rubbish removed. The breakfast was bellisimo. So much food, such lovely fresh fruit, fluffiest omelettes in italy. Lots of space, washing machine was a major bonus..
Caterina and the staff are just amazing people. She was always there to help us and she made sure we had the best stay possible. The breakfast has everything you can dream of (and more). In summary it was one of the highlights from our vacation in Italy!
Thank you Caterina for the amazing stay 🥰
The cat called Petra is also very cute!
Location and property was quiet but close to bus stop for larger nearby town of Vico Equense with loads of nice restaurants. Sorrento and Pompeii easy to get to from there too. Walking distance of smaller village of Montechiaro with at least two really nice restaurants. Stunning sea views across to Mount Vesuvius and Sorrento.
The location is just perfect! In 20minutes you can reach Positano, Amalfi. Also, very near Sorrento.
Pompei and Naples easy to reach.
Free parking, lot of space. Room is okey with breathtaking view to Meta-Sorrento shore.
Best thing about this hotel is POOL area. Amazing view, clean pool, but there were some issues.
The staff was WONDERFUL. I loved the hotel. I was driving a car & it was so nice to have free, convenient parking. I enjoyed the delicious self-serve breakfast & drove into sorrento for a tour in the morning. I had a BEAUTIFUL room with view of water & balcony. It felt like home, thanks for such a peaceful stay!
We had an Amazing time in this property. One of the best properties that i have stayed in during my multiple visits to Milano. The host was very nice and helpful and the owner Leonardo is an Amazing person. The Room is considered to be spacious comparing to other hotels and accommodations in Milano.
La Maison de Julie was a perfect start to our Holiday, we stayed for four nights and Vincenzo was a brilliant host making us feel welcome from the first minute. Vico Equense is an amazing location with amazing views, great places to eat and very convenient for getting to Sorrento and Pompeii
An amazing location with awesome staff, thank you Simone!. Great views, a beautiful swimming pool. If you don't have a car they offer an affordable taxi service compared with the expensive fares in Italy. Don't forget to ask for a visit to the old cellar.
Excellent small hotel away from the hectic city center! The room was very comfortable and well decorated, and the terrace with stunning view definitely added extra value to our stay! Breakfast was more than you would regularly expect in Italy.
loved our stay here! Alfonso and Bianca were the kindest and most attentive hosts. The view is stunning and our stay here felt more homely and comfortable than most hotels. Vico Equense is a gorgeous town and we preferred it over Sorrento.
You won’t go wrong by billing this hotel if you want to enjoy your time in the region. The view and beach was beautiful, and the staff was lovely. Special thank you to Anna and Giulia from the reception and Salvatore from the restaurants.
Free parking, great location / accom alternative to Sorrento - this hotel is 8-10 mins walk to Vico Equense train station / town centre and the train journey to Sorrento is only another 10 mins (cheap tickets as well)
everything at the hotel was perfect , Isabel at the reception was great she made our stay in italy more easy helped us with everything anyone could need we’ll be back especially because of her 😍
Genuinely friendly staff, great location in the town (Vico Equense) and best location for exploring Pompeii, Vesuvius, Herculaneum, Sorrento, and Positano. Excellent buffet breakfast.
