Villa Etelka is a 17-th century building with garden and small swimming pool. It is set on the hills of Valverde, 3.1 mi from Aci Castello and 6.2 mi from Catania.
Set right on the sea promenade, La Terrazza is less than 5 minutes’ walk from Aci Castello town center. It features air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor pool and an Italian sweet breakfast.

The view was spectacular and the property was quite lovely. The staff, or rather the family that run the property are also very charming. We will 100% come back.
Located 558 feet from the rocky beach of Cannizzaro, Il Giardino Dei Limoni offers a terrace and a garden. This bed and breakfast features simple rooms with free Wi-Fi.

The room was comfortable and had all we needed. The garden was very cute and the breakfast area was nicely decorated. Communication with host was easy and efficient. He suggested a restaurant to have sea food which was excellent. We overall enjoyed our stay very much. Also, very fast internet
La Castellese enjoys a location in Aci Castello, 29 miles from Isola Bella and 30 miles from Taormina Cable Car – Upper Station.

The size of the room and bathroom were perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was so relaxing and nice to sit on. A one minute walk to the water and to a few delicious restaurants. Even though it is part of someone’s home I felt very comfortable and welcome. My host was also a huge help in figuring out transportation.
Set in the historic center of Aci Castello, 0.6 mi from Acitrezza, Borgo Marinaro features a terrace fitted with tables, chairs and parasols. The beach is 656 feet away.
Providing a garden, Casa Scogliera provides accommodations in Aci Castello. This apartment offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk, and free Wifi. Staff on site can arrange a shuttle...

Locals were rude and often very Arrogant and attempted to overcharge far too many times. They hope you won’t challenge them about it. My advice is , Ask how much before paying and Check your receipts and bills .
The town is scruffy and dirty. The vast amounts of discarded Rubbish on the streets is difficult to ignore. Definitely would not return.
Positive note : The sea view and the sunset is beautiful.

Actually Frasteva is located in the town of Valverde not in Aci Castello, which is a short drive awa. It is more inland than Aci Castello and it is convenient to all of the towns that make up "Paesi Etnei", that is, the little towns on the southeastern slope of Mount Etna, which are suburbs of Catania. It is a great jumping off point for Taormina, Catania and Siracusa and is a twenty-five minute ride to the airport, depending on traffic.
What makes this newly renovated and picturesque venue a perfect stay are the wonderful accomodations and the personal and cheery attention to detail given to all that stay there by its host, Stefania. She is simply an absolute pleasure to interact with. I am going there the next time I return to the Catania area and I assure anyone who stays there that they will not be disappointed.

Aci Trezza is beautiful...the place we stayed in is NOT!
Aci Trezza is beautiful...the place we stayed in is NOT! It had literally a derelict entrance, with wires dangling from the ceiling, parts of which appeared to be about to give in; filthy place (I was expecting to see rats it was that bad!)....It is NOT close to the beach (although the place had a seaview); I would certainly NOT recommend to anybody! Will most certainly not book again! If I were to rate it honestly I would give a 2/10 and the 2 is only for the seaview!

Very quiet place .. Small but very connected to the sea.
Very quiet place .. Small but very connected to the sea. So fish is staple. It is a bit laid back . Think basic and you will love it.
It is such a shame that the towns coming down to Aci Castello (note that this town is close to sea level) have a lot of garbage scattered around and gives you a very different vibe of this beautiful basic fishing village ..

Aci Castello is a great place to stay if you want to explore the area - the wonderful coastline up to Taormina, the great sights while trekking around Etna, and breathtaking villages like Castiglione di Sicilia.
Aci Castello is smaller and quieter than its walk-to, more touristy neighbour Aci Trezzo, and 'The Sea You Can Feel' is a unique place to stay, perched high above the rocky coastline. There are stunning 360 degree views from the spacious roof terrace, a perfect place to indulge in a sundowner or two, whilst the 'lookout' below has 3 walls of windows for relaxing and taking in the amazing location!
The owners, Giuseppe and Antonella are passionate about Sicily and gave us loads of useful advice.
Thrilled we selected Villa Ortensia and chose to stay outside Catania in Aci Castello. Great location to explore the Mt. Etna region and day-trip to Taormina. From our balcony we enjoyed the sunrise over Ionian Sea each morning. Breakfast was a great assortment of items to kick off the day (yogurt for protein, no meat or cheese). Secured parking on street with gate. Easy walk to several restaurants for evening fare. After driving in Catania and trying to find parking, it's a no brainer to head north to stay and explore!
We had a nice stay at Pupi. The rooms are nice and clean with AC and nice views. Pepe, the host is very friendly and gave us A LOT of information about what to do and where to go around the area. He was always there if we needed something. The property is in a nice location with beautiful views of Aci Castelo and Aci Trezza. 10-15 min by car to the sea and 1 hour in any direction to all the attractions that are in the area. The breakfast is Italian ( very sweet) but Pepe will cook for you something sour if you want.
Donna Serena is a great apartment across two floors in the heart of Aci Castello. The furniture and the styling are truly amazing and we'd love to have taken some of those pieces back home with us. We especially enjoyed our time in the dining area. Other amenities include a cool terrace overlooking the castle, air cons, two toilets, and a Netflix account. Apart from this, the location is amazing, just next to the church, pharmacy, locals' favourite coffee place Viscuso and a great fruit vendor.
Phenomenally beautiful apartment overlooking the sea- the most beautiful, indeed, of all of the places I stayed in Sicily! Lots of plants and furnishings helped make it feel more like a home than a hotel, and the views of Etna and the ocean were extraordinary! Signora Pavone could not have been nicer- she waited over 45 minutes on the street for my arrival (I took the wrong highway exit!) and made it as easy as possible for me to leave in the predawn to catch my flight! Much appreciated!!
Best B & B ever. The place has simple rooms with a great outdoor area overlooking some city and the sea beyond. The owner and breakfast chef makes it a special place - he is the happiest, friendliest host we have ever had. He really enjoys his guests and attends to their needs. It is quite nice to be out of Catania in a suburb. You will want a car to explore the area anyhow. It is clean and like coming to visit your Uncle. He knows so much about Sicily!
Alfio was a wonderful host, he was always very punctual and the house was full of comforts.
I recommend it to whoever is looking for a house fully equipped with everything and the most breathtaking views of all times. The house is huge and easy access to the centre of Catania.
Assigned parking if you have a car or two and perfect to rent for a big family.
Direct access to the sea side and much more to discover :)
Mimmo was the kindest host we have had in our many travels. He gave us the best welcome and introduction to Sicilia.
Free parking right in front of the apartment. Access to a more private beach area. In close range to Catania, the Castello and Taormina. And a very nice sicilian breakfast on the terrace. Highly recommendable.
There is an amazing view of the sea with access to the beach just across the street. The swimming pool in the back was delightful and refreshing! staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea and the 3 Cyclops was a very memorable experience.
Mixed feelings about Villa Ortigia! Maybe in the summer months it’s a bit more of a beach oasis, but don’t think I would stay here again in the off-season unless at a reduced price. Positives; bed was comfortable, suite was clean and host is friendly.
Very nice appartment ,close to the sea and the castle. You can find everything you need for cooking. Restaurants and Bars in 2 minutes walking distance. Excellent for a longer stay.
Very nice hosts that make you feel really welcome! Recommended!
Host was lovely and very accomodating. Apartment was modern and have everything needed for a self-sufficient, comfortable stay. Loved the location, close the beach and shops. Definitely would recommend
Next to the rocky beach, the sea is amazing. The balcony was spacious. There was a washing machine. Good air condition. The kind host was available all the time. Lots of restaurants nearby.
The apartment is clean, comfortable, well equipped and organized. The owner is very kind and helpful. The location is perfect if you like to visit Catania and its surrounding,
The property was perfectly located for those wanting to explore Aci Castello. The room was spotless and the host was extremely friendly and hospitable.Breakfast was amazing.
Fantastic spot to explore Sicily! Close to the water, number of restaurants and an old castle.
Great value, easy contact with the host. Definitely recommending!
