We liked the pool, the view, and the authentic style. All of the staff was very nice but the owner was kind of rude.

Vico Equense is a small but lively town, very easily walkable, and with great connections to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento and more by train or taxi. We especially liked that it was not as crowded as other towns near the Amalfi Coast, yet has many opportunities to walk and see the surrounding area. We stayed at the Cubo Apartments, near the town center and loved it. We found some delightful walking paths, both down to the beach area and into the olive groves on the outskirts of town, as well as being able to walk the streets. We visited a number of restaurants, including La Salumaria, a great place for local beer, excellent appetizers and full meals, just off the town square. Gabrielle's is a popular walk-in place for sweets, sandwiches and gelatos, with excellent variety and service - a local favorite! A hidden jewel is the Museum of Minerology, also near the town center and with easy access. We spent several fascinating hours there, and were treated like special guests! We would go back to Vico Equense in a heartbeat!

Vico Equense is a charming town reaching from the coast up into the hills. It has plenty of restaurants ( a pizza restaurant which serves metre long pizzas )and stores and the best gelato place! The train will take you anywhere or take a bus but for sure wander the quaint streets and alleyways. Easy to fall in love with Vico.

Vico Equense is a charming little town with not too many tourists - at least not when we were there in April. The people were generally friendly and could speak english. It is a short 10 minute train trip from Vico Equense to Sorrento and about half an hour to Pompei.

Vico Equense is a small quiet town that is full of friendly and kind locals. Me and my family were so pleased that we picked Vico Equense over Sorrento for our stay. You will like Vico Equense if you like having a morning run up to the hill or down to the beach. We were so lucky that we could join the triennial Good Friday Procession at Vico Equense, it was just an amazing experience. If you like gelato (who doesn't!?), do try the brioche con gelato at Gelateria Gabrielle, it is so nice and you can choose two flavours! For restaurants, we love eating at Ristorante al buco; we went there twice during our one-week stay! Vico Equense is just a beautiful place, it doesn't take you long to get to the busy Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples Central. So yes, for us, just perfect!

Use local bus services and trains, cheap and reliable. Roads are choc-a-bloc!
Fab port, hire a boat to take you around the coast of Sorrento and Almalfi or take a ferry. It’s a great place and a lot quieter than Sorrento etc.

Vico Equense was the perfect launch point to see other places on the Amalfi Coast. The city itself is small, but has numerous restaurants, a beautiful beach and a lovely viewpoint and likely other attractions that I did not encounter. I chose this destination as I sought an affordable apartment with a kitchen for our stay. I love eating out while traveling, but I also greatly enjoy the food markets and being able to purchase local food and wine and enjoying it with a view - especially at the end of long day of sightseeing. Vico Equense is definitely a walking city. It is also incredibly easy to catch the train and/or bus to get to other sites. I would definitely stay here again.
property was very well placed for visiting Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorento via the circumvesuvania train line literally 2 minutes from hotel. some very nice eateries in Vico Equense less than 5 minutes walk. lovely small town, not touristy like some of the other towns further down so prices for food and drink are very good, no touristy tat shops. room was lovely and clean, always clean towels. nice small area of beach reached by a ten minute walk down the hill, if you don’t fancy the walk back the hotel offers a shuttle bus.
Highly recommend this hotel. We went with family. Pool is nice and clean and so are the rooms. It is 10 min walk from train station and all the shops like few boutiques, gelato, restaurants. Walk to the high street is beautiful. It is 20 mins away from Sorrento. Vico equense is much more relaxed, green and quiet compared to Sorrento. We got breakfast included and it had good variety. We also had spa included. It was very clean and it has a jacuzzi, steam shower, sauna and massage shower. I would highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed here for 3 nights of our honeymoon & couldn’t have picked a better hotel. Ronato & his team are fantastic & helped with anything we needed. Breakfast each morning was fresh and healthy - we really enjoyed. The restaurant itself is fantastic also - we shared the sea bass one night and it was one of the best meals we had in Italy. Make sure you utilise the shuttle service and experience the restaurants in Seiano as food is fantastic & on the water. We will be back !
We spent our holiday at Palazzo Murrano for the second time and it is still the best! Vico Equense is really picturesque, we could not imagine a more beautiful place to spend some time during summer. The hotel's private beach, Murrano Mare is the best beach we have ever been to! The hotel, the rooms, the breakfast are really wonderful and you could not ask for a better staff! Alfonso is our long time friend, we hope that we will see him again!
Hosts were most welcoming and helpful. Location is wonderful between Naples and Amalfi with grand terrace overlooking Vico and the most beautiful view of the entire Bay and Vesuvius and sunset behind Ischia. Italy's grandest archeological sites Pompei, Ercolaneo and Paestum all within easy reach (1 to 1,5 hrs), same goes for Naples and Capri. Forget driving in Naples..
Excellent breakfast (Italian or intl.), good resto's in Vico at 1 km.
Everything was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay at Maison Silvie! Great location: there were great restaurants within walking distance. Shops were also nearby. Excellent property: apartment is very modern, beautiful and cozy, also the view is great! We could see the seaside, mountain and big part of Vico Equense! We really liked terrace and interior! Would like to thank amazing owner Silvie, she was extremely friendly and helpful!
Incredibly clean, great welcome marmalade, a 15min descend to center on foot, a bit longer to return as it is quite steep. Parking available on the premises. plenty of spices and other essentials to do your cooking.
one time we ran out of gas and the owners were super fast with changing it (10min) which is not my usual experience with Italy, so a big thank you again! had a lovely stay and would recommend!!
Would definitely recommend Grand Hotel Moon Valley. The view was just breathtaking to wake up to every day. We loved the location, the atmosphere and the facilities. The staff were very helpful and the shuttle bus made everything so convenient. We tried a local restaurant Il Ritrovo del Amgli that did gluten free pizza and was just 5 minutes walk which also added to our holiday experience.
The apartment is new, clean and well equipped. All we need already was in the apartment, any our addition request was immediately responded by owner. We enjoyed out stay from the very beginning to the very end. Thank you very much to Mary, she was very friendly, ready to help and client oriented. We definitely come back to apartment again if decide to return to Italy for vacation.
First what You see when you doing your first step to this place - how much work and love hosts put in it. Clean, comfortable, with unreal view from terrace, where every morning you have tasty breakfast. We arrived after long journey in Italy, and stopped in different B&B, but this was the BEST! We really be happy to stay longer! Grazie mille! It is more then 10!
It is only 5 minutes walk to the center of Vico equense. The train station is also quite near. We liked to sit on the terrace, enjoyed the view and had a barbecue.
In the kitchen we found all the stuff you might need, including winglasses.
The owner is very friendly, he even let us stay some hours longer, as we had a flight in the evening back home.
Vico equense is a gorgeous town with breath-taking views. The house was spacious, private and very comfortable.
The hosts were wonderful, picked us up and brought us to the house and even took us to buy groceries. For every question or problem, they were always available and so nice and caring. Would definitely come back!
We had an amazing stay. The owners were both truly amazing. We had a wonderful stay for my family and small children. Breakfast was delicious, the owners was extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had the perfect stay. We absolutely will be staying here again the next time we visit Italy
Good breakfast, amazing view from the tarrace. Very nice location, close to the city center with all the restaurants and bars. Amazing beach near, and private tarrace for sunbathing and jumping to the sea. the hotel organize transport (only 5 min) to the beach. Friendly stuff. Great food everywhere he've been to.
Excellent location, in the heart of Vico Equense, close to many bars, restaurants and shops.
The host was extremely nice and helpful.
Large room with comfortable bed, good air conditioning.

Beautiful, authentic Italian apartment with a nice view in a lovely location. Was a good spot to stay while visiting southern Italy. The hostess was very nice and helpful.
