Beautiful property. Alessandro was a fantastic host! Unbelievable how attentive he was. We had a fun pizza dinner at Air Play (a real plane) that he recommended and a yummy breakfast. We took some of it to go. We even took his recommendation to visit the crypt in Gangi. Top notch room and service! 10/10 for sure.

There isn't much to see in Caltanissetta itself but it is a good base for travelling around the area. It isn't touristy so not as busy as place such as Enna and Piazza Armerina. The roads are generally very good (apart from in the towns) so travel is quick and easy. The place you must not miss is Villa Romana del Casale.

Like most of the towns in Sicily, driving can be hectic. The old towns are not suited to modern driving, but once you get accustomed to the driving style and familiarity of the city, it's not so bad. Caltanissetta is well positioned to explore the surrounding rural landscape and a good base to explore surrounding sites and small towns. The city itself is busy and modern and has a mix of historical churches and sites and restaurants. The people are friendly and the vibe seems happy.AngeloAustralia

The room was just what we needed, very clean, and warm even during January. There is a common room, where you can eat, make coffee or tea. The owners were so helpful and kind in helping us with our research about the history of the local area. It is the perfect place to chill and wind down for a couple of days and discovered a different part of Sicily. There is also a botanical garden, and it is surrounded by olive and palm trees.
