The hotel was in a great location, the staff went out of their way to be helpful, the room was spotless, and the breakfast was lovely. Would love to return some day.
The Antica Dimora Mantova dates back to the 17th century and offers beautifully restored accommodations with modern facilities in a convenient location not far from Mantua train station.
A design hotel set in a 19th-century building in Mantua, Casa Poli offers stylish rooms, a courtyard garden, and free Wi-Fi throughout. The city center is 10 minutes’ walk away.

I had the opportunity to visit the main attractions, but I'd like to do the boat trip.
In the weekend I was there, there was also a special initiative "Mantova fiorita" with some flowerists in downtown with Mantova flowers and plants which gave a colourful booster to the town!

The city is beautiful, clean and very well run.
The city is beautiful, clean and very well run. Free parking on the edge of town and free shuttle service into centre. For us, it's the city itself more than its many museums and sights that makes the visit worthwhile: wonderful parks, lake-shore, squares and old streets only a short distance from the bustle of the main tourist axis. You can walk pretty much everywhere but the public transport system is good. The free shuttle will bring you from the centre to the Palazzo Te (1.5 km from the Palazzo Ducale). To be honest, I preferred the huge park and its cafés to the palace itself, which was full of school tours that day!

Mantova has been the biggest surprise of our 8-day trip through Tuscany and its surroundings. We came here at the insistence of friends who live in Italy, and we are thrilled. The city is beautiful, with impressive architecture, monumental squares, and a lively atmosphere that pulses through its streets. There aren't too many tourists around, which makes it even more appealing. We happened to arrive at a momentous time when the Mantova football club secured the top spot in Serie C, and we witnessed the celebrations and festivities throughout the city center, adding to the vibrant feel of the place. A culturally rich and safe place with excellent restaurants, interesting people, and opportunities for a longer stay. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful city with plenty to see for a few days and much longer could have been spent just wandering the historic, cobbled streets and enjoying the plentiful restaurants, cafes and bars. It was off season so quiet - not crowded like Verona. We visited the theatre, of which there are several, and most of the sights, but 2 days wasn't enough time to cover everything. No car needed - walked everywhere. Train station was very central.

Amazing town, small, but with a lot to see and enjoy.
Amazing town, small, but with a lot to see and enjoy. A mixture of Emilia and Lombardy culture, especially about food, but with its own local exclusivity. I wonder why I've never visited earlier in my life!
The room was wonderfully comfortable with a beautiful view of the Piazza. Had a perfect little balcony where we could sit and drink wine and watch the people go by. Directions to the hotel were easy to follow. The staff greeted us outside helped us with our bags and check-in was a breeze. our room was situated above the bakery, and we were treated to a fabulous complimentary breakfast every morning. Sophia was the first person we met, and she made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here.
Cosy and comfortable flat in the very heart or Mantova, just behind S'Andrea's Church and literally a stone's throw from all the masterpieces of Mantova's centre. The flat is immersed in the life of the city centre. Great facilities for digital working and day to day needs. The flat is provided with all you need, plenty of natural light, quiet at night and during the day. Large living room and kitchen, separate large bedroom and bathroom. The flat is really warm during the winter. definitely recommended!
The check-in was very quick and easy, the hostess was very welcoming and even kindly gave me an iron for the whole stay.
The location was good - 10 mins walking from the train station and 15 minutes on foot to the beautiful downtown. The room was super clean, cosy, and quiet (facing an inner yard). A big bathroom with a window.
I came to Mantova for a concert and the property was just perfect for having proper rest and good sleep after an active festival night :) I really enjoyed my stay! Grazie mille!
Kindness of staff. AMAZING Osteria, make sure to eat there at night. In town there are plenty of restaurants, but also plenty with mediocre food. The Osteria that is part of the hotel/B&B is truly exquisite. The best food we had in Mantova and definitely the tastiest pasta we had in Italy ever. (Try theTortellini with pumpkin!) When in the neighbourhood of Mantova, we will definitely stay at this place again.
Our host was very kind, accomodating, and helpful. The room was not far from the train station, and also very close to the historical center of the city. While the room was a little bit smaller than we had expected, it was very neat, tidy, and well equipped, with a good breakfast and a free minibar. I would strongly recommend staying at B&b art boutique if you decide to visit Mantova for a short stay.
The host (Adamo) is very friendly. He takes time to give many useful advices on Mantova (which is a very very nice city !) :
Restaurants, parkings, places to visit.
The room (for 4 people with 2 large beds) is very comfortable, clean and modern.
This is really a very very good quality / price ratio.
And Mantova is a great place to visit !
A very good experience in Italy.
Lovely appartement very well located in Mantova! It was the only appartement during our family trip to really accomodate 5 person properly: the sofa bed was ready when we arrived, with the sheets and everything. The appartement was super clean, bed sheed and towels, everything was perfect.
The location- perfect to visit Palazzo ducale and Duomo- and the free shuttle to Palazzo Te and walking distance to other historical monuments.
The hotel’s view of the splendid Piazza Sordelle under a full moon was breathlessly beautiful.
It was one of the cheapest we could find.
We used the hotel as a mere "home base" for exploring the city and region, and to be honest, that is all what it could be used for, since the hotel would not qualify as entertaining to stay in.
Mantova is a beautiful city and we spent the weekend walking around. This hotel is amazing. The staff was very attentive to our requests and helped us with a late check out. The room had all we needed. We would definitely come back.
Breakfast good for Italia.... parking inside is good, only the entrance is VERY small, directly opposite Mantova Train Station but you do not hear anything from it, overall very satisfied with the stay
Very central location in Mantova.
Flat extremely nice, clean and comfortable.
Check in procedure very straight forward.
The staff available and friendly.
Could accomodate a cot for our baby.
The location next to the largest piazza in Italy (close to Ducale Palazzo) could not be better. Breakfast was tasty - a little hot foot with a good variety of cold food. Good value hotel
Very nicely kept property in the heart of Mantova. Easy access thanks to very good instructions via whatsapp. Tastefully decorated, good air conditioning and well equipped bathroom.
Everything! The location is fabulous and beautifully quiet given it’s in the middle of the Centro Storico. Beautifully modernised design of rooms within the old building.
Lovely modern hotel, very helpful staff within easy walking distance from the historic center. Delicious breakfast and parking garage (extra fee for parking).
