New hotel on harbor front, with large bedroom & bathroom, fluffy towels & excellent bed linens. We were just overnighting, so chose the standard room, only drawback no windows. The more expensive rooms have a balcony & harbor view. An elevator rides to 5th floor entrance in town, after that there are 4 flights of steps to reach center. We did not have breakfast, just went to Charlie's Bar next door for sandwich & cappuccino. We had seafood dinner in harbor a restaurant..unfortunately not great.

Sciacca is such a hidden gem of a place. So much to do and see in Sciacca, from the Porto area, where the fishermen bring in their catch of the day and the old apartments and houses in that old, beautiful area of town, to the Centro area of Sciacca, with the beautiful old churches, streets and walled city. The food is of course based around the fresh seafood, that is caught daily. I love everything about Sciacca.

If you like maritime culture and a small unpretentious town but with excellent seafood restaurants, Sciacca might be for you. It has a big fishing port, very colourful. Up the hill is the main town, classy and attractive and without a lot of tourist trinket shops and other tourist eyesores. It would probably be mellow in summer with everyone out in the cafes all evening. The beaches are outside the town about 15 min. We did an early spring tour of Sicily's southwest coast looking for possible August holiday places for the future. I liked Sciacca.

Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily.
Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily. The town is easily explored in a half day and has nice stores and restaurants.
Definitely prettier and less up and down than Agrigento. It is a little over an hour from the Palermo Airport by car and you can explore the ancient temple of Segesta on the way and only have an hour drive to Agrigento and the many picturesque and historic attractions on the way there.
Also Corleone and Piana degli Albanesi are on the way to Palermo for those who are interested in some of the Mafia history.

It is a nice Sicilian town full of History and monuments.
It is a nice Sicilian town full of History and monuments. The city itself is a little gem as you can still see buildings that were built a long time ago still there and in use. Food and restaurants are good too as well as shops and other amenities. The only "black spot" is the fact that if you want to go to the beach you must have a car. In the evening you can enjoy a promenade in the piazza or, if scheduled, watch gigs of live music on the streets.

Sciacca is a charming place for a short stay.
Sciacca is a charming place for a short stay. The residents are kind and welcoming. We enjoyed walking along the streets and the alleyways and appreciated that it is not packed with too many tourists. It is a also good base to visit The Valley of the Temples in Argrigento.
One of the best hotels we ever had the pleasure to stay at:
-rooms are spacious and super clean
-owners and staff are amazing people, always friendly and super helpful
-beach is stunningly beautiful, clean and quiet - personal sunbeds are extremely nice to flexibly come and go as you like
-outside area is also amazingly beautiful
-breakfast is great as well, super tasty regional specialties that vary over the week, for us personally it was also enough to eat lunch as well
-private parking is comfortable
We didn’t have any expectation before we arrived to Sciacca. We didn’t do any study of the town but just wanted to give a try. We were warmly welcomed by Silvio. He was super nice helpful and very well knowledgeable about the town. The room is very clean and Morden. Great Wi-Fi speed we Loved the breakfast and everything. The variation in the minibar is also super! Hotel is very well located in the old town just beside Porta di Palermo. Definitely worth the money and will stay again next time ^_^
The house is nice. Our room had a nice balcony to a lemon tree garden. There was room service.
Breakfast was diverse and good, including capuccino (or other hot beverage), fruit juice, cornetos with different fillings and sandwiches.it's not identical every day.
Location is great, but if you do not like steps (don't go to Sciacca or Agrigento), you need to take a greater turn I think.
Fulvio is very concerned about your wellbeing and can give you tips on car rental.
The host was wonderful! He was very kind to us, he granted us a little time more for the check-out and provided useful info. The apartment (rooms, bathroom, and kitchen) was clean and well-equipped. It is a good solution for a couple or a 3-person family. The apartment is 10-15 min from the beach and the town of Sciacca. It is ideal if you want to enjoy the Sicilian countryside, but still be close to urban areas.
Imposible choosing what was best and what I liked most — Lorenzo, the owner, even helped us unload and load up our suitcases from the car. The room was impeccable, everything was new and shiny clean, and the hotel had everything you can need. The rooms are also incredibly big and the bathroom is huge with big brand new fluffy towels.
EVERYTHING, if ur going to Sciacca and not sleeping @ Casa dell’aromatario ur missing out! Silvio and Carmelo are just Amazing, we loved what they did with the b&b it was an experience itself, the Aromatario tour was impressive I learned a lot and was very flattered. would def recommend this to everyone and its a must.
This place is beautiful 😍 The apartment is massive and the bathroom is one of the best we’ve had in europe.
The sea views while overlooking the old town square are fantastic.
Bonus is there’s free parking below the apartment which isn’t always available in Sicily!
Very friendly and welcoming. A convenient location, with easy parking, which is rare in Sciacca. Spacious accommodations with many amenities. A Gracious host, Manuela, who gave us excellent advice. Easy communication in English. Amazing private beach with lifeguards.
The apartment was spacious. It was quiet and clean. There were comfortable places to sit inside. The price was very reasonable and a good value---but that seems true for the rest of Sicily as well (as compared to many places in the rest of Europe or the USA).
Welcoming and a comfortable stay. It’s position was not in the main area of Sciacca so was lovely and quiet but still with beautiful ocean view. A great spot to be able to explore other areas of Sicily. You do need a car to get around.
A good option for frugal travelers exploring western Sicily. Within an hour's drive most of the highlights of western Sicily can be reached. Having a kitchen makes it possible to avoid the high cost of restaurants.
Giovanni was a lovely host. He not only brought us breakfast from the best Café in Sciacca but also gave us a tour of the city and a ride to the bus station. Thanks again, Giovanni, for this really nice experience!
Francesca, the receptionist was amazing. Very serviceable and went above and beyond turning our stay into a pleasure experience. We highly recommend this hotel for his comfort, cleanliness and comfort.
Very clean… modern…the most pleasant people working there…2 gentlemen the day one and the night one…the best and Patricia is a doll.
All 3 made our stay wonderful 🌹
The breakfast was the best ever. Santana is a wonderful host
