The property is 5 minutes walking from the city center and 15 minutes by car from the beach. The room was perfect! During our stay there was a lack of water in the neighborhood but the problem was perfectly managed by the host and solved in a couple of hours! On the last floor there's also a solarium where you can do the laundry. Great accomodation.

This B&B is in a good location a couple houses from ocean. Our deck had a partial view of the ocean. Even better on the rooftop terrace. They served a well balanced breakfast as well. The room was spotless. Excellent parking beside the accommodation. I would highly recommend Costa Sicula.

Avola is a pleasant town.
Avola is a pleasant town. There is plenty to see near by that can be reached by bus or car, Syracuse and Noto being the highlights.
We hired a small boat from the harbour with a skipper and had the most a fabulous day out!

Avola is a nice town near the sea: famous for its almonds, honey and wine, it has some baroque feeling to it, though not as much as Scicli for instance. It is a near-perfect base to visit Syracusae, the beaches of Noto or the town of Modica: all within reach from 20 minutes to 1 hour, but it can also be a relaxing place in itself. A recommendation would be to visit "Bar Pasticceria Mangiafico" in town, that since 1972 delivers quality in pastries and sicilian street food!
On the side of warnings, it needs to be said that the old town has very narrow roads, and getting around by car requires some driving skills.

In future I would stay in Noto or another city in Sicily
Avola seems like a ghost town in peak summer times
No good restaurants, no bars and nothing seems to be happening.
All the shops seemed closed once you got off the beach. Luckily I had a car so I could drive to neighbouring cities

Difficult with a car. Narrow matrix of streets.
Difficult with a car. Narrow matrix of streets. Needs Google maps and a navigator even to get to Centro storico. Easier on seafront. More space , more facilities. Seawater beautifully clean, beaches safe.
Everything was perfect, starting with the hospitality of the owners and the whole staff, from the girls in the breakfast room to Ms. Ornella, who gave us all the directions we needed. Rich and varied breakfast, sweet and savory (with alternatives for the lactose intolerant). One afternoon we were offered homemade Avola almond granita. Our room (Dafne) was spacious, with whirlpool tub and cleaned daily. Pool comfortable and intimate.Parking is sought nearby. We highly suggest this B&B for both couples and families!
Green house is a very nice place, clean and cosy. We came with a car, and it is amazing for the parking because there are really a lot of spots on the street, highly recommended if you come with the car. It is on walking distance of city centre as well, but Avola is a great position to be if you want to explore Val di Noto with a car.
I have to mention the breakfast - it was so amazing. Everything was homemade, and soooo delicious, way above expectations. The host was also really nice and friendly.
The hosts are really friendly - but unfortunately speak only Italian - the host lady brought us some sweets but not only almost every day - but I am not sure that it was included in the deal
Was a very quiet place, and the yard was really beautiful - but you need a car to reach the nearest beach or grocery or restaurant
The apartment is a bit outdated and requires some redesign IMHO - but everything was working
There is a great beach and sea In the Avola - really recommended
Valentina was a wonderful host! Great communication and amazing care of her guests, providing an extremely rich breakfast, also including fresh croissants of choice from local bakery, and suggestions about attractions to visit around Avola. The room was clean and comfortable, parking was easy on the street. It was a really pleasant stay. Strongly recommended!
wonderful to stay at a working farm, especially this one with a huge orchard of lemon trees all of which were loaded with hanging fruit. we bought olive made from olives grown on the farm. the staff was very friendly and the meals at their restaurant delicious. the location was also very convenient to several interesting places to visit in SE Sicily.
New and comfortable triple room, very good location to get to nearby attractions especially if you have a car, for example Siracusa, Noto, Marzamemi and San Lorenzo and what is very important very friendly and helpful host! Marina de Avola was also a positive suprise. There was a very good osteria I Malavoglia recommended by the host.
Great garden, spacious one bedroom perfect for a family. We stayed for a week and were very comfortable. Nice proximity to the beach and the centre of town, very walkable. Parking is easy out the front. The hosts are very friendly and kind, easy to reach and generous with ideas and actions. We will stay again when in avola.
Uncomplicated, clean and great breakfast 😁
I first went here to rent a car, and that was fine, was very last minute. And when we went to the hotel, we saw how clean it o
Looked and smelled and Maria at the desk was very nice, so when we wanted a beachside hotel later, we directly booked this, and did not regret it 😁
Very nice and very clean family apartment with little private garden. Nice host, who lives just next door. 20 min walk to the nice sandy beach. 30-40 min walk to Avola city center and stores. Ideal for families. Host green attitude, garbage sorting. Fast internet.
Nice apartment in Avola, 20 minutes away from most beaches and the Cavagrande reserve. There is an internal courtyard with parking spots for cars. AC was available in one of the room. Overall the apartment was nice and clean, aside for a few ants in the kitchen.
The accommodation was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was varied and more than adequate. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. It was ideally situated for walking the old part of Avola. The extra bonus was available parking.
I liked literally everything. Really nice owners, very clean, all appliances are working, wonderful breakfast, the best mattress and pillow I saw in Sicily :) The room is spacious. Beach is just a 10 min walk. Cava Grande not far.
Great location to visit Noto, Modica, Malta, Seracusa, Marzamemi and Scicli. Also many nice beaches around. Avola is a peaceful place with authentic restaurants. The apartment is well equipped and surrounded by calm nature
The apartment is conveniently located close to the beach and restaurants. It is also quiet and has a beautiful garden where to eat, relax or play with your childs. We ca recommend this place and Avola.
Newly renovated historical building in the heart of Avola. Big room and very very clean! Great breakfast! And the hosts are amazing people! We loved our stay!
good location close to Noto, Avola and Siracusa, facilities, breakfast and advices provided by the host either for sightseeing or local restaurants to try
