The location of the hotel was amazing, right on the marina and close to everything. The pool was beautiful and not as cold as I would expect for early May. Plenty of free parking in the area. The room/ bathroom were really modern with up to date fixtures. Rain shower head, small toiletries and plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space to store our stuff, and the mini bar was well stocked. The room had a great balcony overlooking the water. We would definitely stay here again.
Sopra Le Mura is located in Castellammare del Golfo, 27 mi from Palermo. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.

The host was very helpful and gave us a free upgrade. The view was outstanding. We also had a decent sized balcony with table and chairs.
The location was great. We enjoyed walking around the area which was also near restaurants, shops and delious bakery. It wasn't far to the reserve neutral dell zingaro which we enjoyed hiking. It also had fabulous views and little museum.

Everything was so beautiful and comfortable that I cannot choose anything specifical.
The location fits our tourist plans. We visited Monreale, Erici, Palermo. In the morning and in the evening we ate "at home" and we had lunch in some nice restaurant on the way. Everything was perfect.

In October, this is a lovely place. The weather is still warm but the crowds have dissipated. Wonderful walking paths ad streets. Good restaurants and the Riserva near Scopello is a short drive and well worth the visit for the hiking and swimming coves.

One of the most beautiful places in Sicily.
One of the most beautiful places in Sicily. Wide, long sandy beach. Mountains around. Also a lot of places for hiking. And you could find small hidden beaches which are not crowded or even your company will be the only one.
Perfect place to stay for a week

Beautiful buzzing place to stay.
Beautiful buzzing place to stay. Nice at the harbour for food and people watching but also great on the side streets and main strip for restaurants and other little independent shops. We didn't get around to visiting the castle or nearby beaches as we were only there 3 nights. Could do with transport closer to get in and out to nearby towns.

Loved the holiday atmosphere plus the marina walk and live music from Thursday to Saturday. Exceptionally close to Scopello and Zingaro which should not be missed. Quality bakeries and delis and plenty of accommodation.

The town has a great marina and perfect view at the neraby mountains. It's missing a nice beach though. The center is filled with restaurants - most of them are quite expensive, but if you go a bit deeper into the town you can find something more affordable.
A lot is going on during holiday weekends - concerts, festivities and live music.

A fabulous welcome. three generations of smiles are there to welcome and serve you. In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, much attention is paid to detail. The hotel is new and spotlessly clean. There are many amenities in the bedrooms (some have a fully equipped kitchen). The house is located in a very quiet street, just a few hundred meters from the port, the beach and restaurants. We stayed in an apartment with a balcony, then in a room on the top floor with a beautiful terrace overlooking the city.
The staff was absolutely incredible. We were greeted with professionalism and a smile every day, afternoon, and night. Incredibly knowledgeable as well!
The location is amazing. If you are thinking about the Junior Suite do it ASAP. The pictures from the terrace do not do justice to what you get.
They also give you a card worth 10% of many local restaurants. We saved at least €100 with this over 3 days.
If you are interested in seeing a Scilian vineyard that's 20 minutes from the hotel, ask about Adamo.
Stylish and newly renovated, spotlessly clean and a fabulous balcony with a view over the harbor. Giuliano was so kind and helpful and gave us excellent suggestions on wonderful restaurants and places to visit. The town is friendly and bustling with lots of nice restaurants and little shops. Our location was absolutely perfect and not a better view in the whole town. Close to Zingaro, Seguesta, and Erice for easy day trips.
Angela was an excellent host and couldn't do enough for us, was willing to give advice on where to eat and suggested places to visit in Sicily. She also visited during our stay to make sure that everything was alright in the apartment and brought us a gift of 2 bottles of wine form her family winery, The apartment is centrally located and within easy reach of restaurants, bars & shops in Castellammare del Golfo.
This was our (myself and my son) first place during a week trip in Sicily. Perfect for visits to Zingaro, Scopello, Terme Segestane, Segesta Temple, as well as San Vito Lo Capo, Erice and Trapani. The house (of Frida Kahlo) is in a quiet place, rural surrounding, well equipped. We very much liked the veranda for having breakfast. The host Rosy was very welcoming, making a sicilian pasta for us one evening.
Excellent breakfast with so many choices. The shower was great because it was larger than the standard sizes in Italy. The hotel is well situated by the dockyard where there are many restaurants. If you want to go to the center of town, it’s about a ten minute walk up stairs where you’ll find many more restaurants and shops. We also had access to a parking lot for an additional fee of 15 Euros.
The hotel is new, with very beautiful garden and sea view on terrace on the third floor. Walking distance to the beach. You can find free parking. Breakfast at the next door bar was excellent. Eva is very friendly and helpful. She greeted us with small gifts. She helped us with the parking even at 10 pm. The hotel is at an excellent corner at the entrance of the town.
Wonderful location, very nice and clean rooms, welcome staff and transfer- golf car that can take the guests to the big beach about 10 min away. Hotel does have the access to the beach (hotel is a bit on a hill, beach is downstairs, but it is easy to reach. Hotel provides the discounts for the restaurants and a welcome drink or a beach towels as a welcome compliment.
A beautiful little hotel just a few minutes walking distance from the marina and a beach. Easily accessible from the bus station.
The personal is very attentive and extremely helpful with everything. The room was very clean and spacious enough for two.
The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
We 've had a lovely stay there and are looking forward to return.
really nice place, very friendly and helpful hosts, we had a huge, clean room, great location.
If you are travelling by car it is a good starting point to visit all the beautiful beaches nearby, not the easiest place to find the parking though. lots of nice restaurants around, breakfast typically only brioche and coffee in a place close to the hotel.
Everything was perfect. 🥰
The hotel is very new and modern. We felt us like home. The staff is friendly and the spa was for a extra money also nice and relaxed. If you book the spa you have your privacy, your alone there. 😊🥰
This was our best stay in Sicily.
Thank you!
The place is a gem. One of the best during our 2 week trip in Sicily. Close to stores, restaurants, beach, port, and the center of this beautiful town. The apartment is clean with all needed amenities. Ida is absolutely a sweet host. I can truly recommend it!!!
Perfect location close to the port with lots of restaurants (but not too close, so it's still quiet at night). Charming staff. Very spacious room. The private hotel parking is a big asset (finding a parking spot elsewhere in town would be challenging).
Lovely apartment in the centre off Castellmare del Golfo
Beautiful street with lovely shops and restaurants
Walking down to the marina is a must full of lovely restaurants
Beach nearby and San Vita LoCapo only 40 minutes drive away
Great location steps from restaurants. Our hosts were wonderful and provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Room was very well appointed and comfortable. Parking provided directly in front of hotel. Breakfast was delicious!
Perfectly located in the heart of town. Kind and helpful hosts, they gave us great recommendations for beaches and food. The b&b is beautiful, well decorated and clean. Free parking on the side street. Delicious breakfast!
The room was comfortable and the area was quiet. Parking was at the B&B so very convenient. Great restaurants and short drive up the road. Nice balcony to sip wine at the end of the day and enjoy the view of the water.
