Everything exceeded expectations. Salvatore, the manager was fantastic, extremely helpful, polite; just an all around nice guy & can't say enough good things about him!!! The owner of the hotel is lucky to have him.

The view is breathtaking. The host is great, very responsive and hospitable. The apartment was comfortable, big and clean. Very peaceful and around 10 minutes by car away from the nearby village of Castelbuono which we loved so much. Breakfast with a beautiful view, weather permitting.
Set right next to the Madonie Regional Natural Park, Azienda Agrituristica Bergi is 5 minutes’ drive from Castelbuono in Sicily.

This is one of the best places I've ever stayed in. An oasis of calm. It's a beautiful location with a unique feel. The staff are extremely helpful and the quality of the food is superb. I'm already thinking about coming back. The puppy Nerina was an extra treat for those of us who are dog lovers !

The property is simply beautiful. It is out of the way, but it is also entirely accommodating. We had a car, so we went exploring every day, and there are many good places to see relatively close. The staff was so friendly.

It's a perfect small and authentic town, that can be used a base for exploring the surroundings. Away from the crowds, yet very close to the places of interest as Madonie park and other cities, as Polizzi Generosa and Cefalu or other costal places. Suitable for those who enjoy true local experiences and tranquility,

The roads in Sicily are not good at the best of times and are currently overrun with tourists, so driving to any of the nearby walks was fairly off putting, though doable. The town itself is quite interesting and friendly with a variety of eating places with local specialities, as well as shops for buying fresh fruit, vegetables and cheese. We ate very well and enjoyed the mountain walks we did in the nearby parco del natura and especially the views, birds and wildflowers. Parking on the edge of town and then walking is far preferable to navigating the busy, narrow streets.

Had lunch at Pizzeria San Paolo a couple times. Very good.
Had lunch at Pizzeria San Paolo a couple times. Very good. Had dinner at Vecchio Palmento twice. Very good. Being a photographer, I loved just walking around town and going inside the many churches. Explored the castle. Get up early and get ahead of the donkey's picking up trash in the historic area. I would definitely return to explore more. Host was excellent and very helpful. Map of town really helped.

We enjoyed walking around Castelbuono.
We enjoyed walking around Castelbuono. The castle itself was interesting. We enjoyed learning about the manna that is harvested in this area. They gave us very tasty samples of manna products. The clock tower was interesting. The information in the Museo Naturalistico was all in Italian but we still enjoyed seeing many of the insects and wildlife displays. The streets are all very narrow and steep, and I was amazed and how well the local people could drive through them.

Beautiful medieval town with a majestic castle.
Beautiful medieval town with a majestic castle. The shops and restaurants around/within the main village square are great. Castelbuono is also a great base to explore nearby villages and hike the Madonie park.

A very scenic town, cobblestone streets for exploring and a variety of restaurants. Walking out of town to a hiking track for a day is possible without a tour . Castle and Museum are definitely worth visiting.
Everything about this modern apartment was wonderful. The inside was very clean, had good lighting, and had very modern fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen. There were plenty of plug-ins. The washing machine was fast. There was even a dishwasher. Outside was a large terrace with seating and a table and the most spectacular views. It was close to the city and yet still in the country.
Our hostess spoke very good English and picked us up at a nearby hotel when we got lost. We highly recommend this apartment.
Superbe welcome. Guian was so welcoming, even escorted us the easy way to the supermarket to avoid narrow alleys!
Top hiking advice too. Thank you.
Responded to questions very speedily.
Loved the terrace, the space of the house, the car parking. We liked the 600m steepwalk into town, pretty easy and walked off dinner on the way home!
Well equipped kitchen and first place in sicily with chopping knives!
Quiet area felt like a lovely neighbour hood.
Wanted to extend our stay but already full.
Highly recommend.
Family of two adults and two children of 6 stayed 3 nights in March. We had a wonderful stay. A little too short probably. Very good location, few km from Castelbuono. Staff was very friendly. They usually serve breakfast at 830, but accepted to make it 8. We had a lovely dinner one night at their restaurant. We went on two guided tours in the Madonie nature park with Latitia from Madonie Explorers. Highly recommended as well. Overall very good experience.
Nice and clean appartment, being renovated nicely and on a good standard. Comfortable double bed, kitchenette and fridge for snacks, drinks and coffee. Airconditioning ensuring good temperatures during summer time. Charming seating on balcony possible: here you realize the "real Italian touch". Located only 3 walking minutes to Castelbuono city centre, 3 minutes to big super market. Friendly and flexible host. I will definitely come back.
The B & B is located just outside Castelbuono and it’s an easy walk into the main part of town. We liked being right outside town, avoiding parking and narrow streets. The terrace outside our room was lovely and had beautiful views. The hosts were readily available for questions. The breakfast on the upper terrace was very good and filling. There is free parking right at the property.
Rosanna, our hostess was very welcoming and very informative about Castelbuono. We had the full use of a beautiful apartment which was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Rosanna provided us with a plentiful breakfast. Although not in the historical centre it is a short walk away. The apartment is located in a quiet residential street so is very quiet at night.
The location and setting were fantastic as a winery and renovated abbey. Great views. Relaxing pool. Excellent food with delicious breakfast with fresh fruit and vegetables. Really enjoyed watching the Italian wedding that took place there during our stay. Great winery tour though Julia ran into the tour guy Paolo in Castelbuono and Taormina!
This B&B is located in the mountains outside Palermo. The town of Castelbuono is lovely with a castle and cathedral from 12C and charming medieval streets. There are many lovely restaurants focussing on local produce. Villa Letitia is comfortable and has onsite parking, a short walk from town. Breakfast was great!
The apartment was obtained from remodeling an old building in the old part of Castelbuono. Communication with the manager/owner was good, all done remotely, with no face to face interaction. The apartment has all the essential items, but no dishwasher. Furniture is spartan but adequate.
The view is breathtaking. The host is great, very responsive and hospitable. The apartment was comfortable, big and clean. Very peaceful and around 10 minutes by car away from the nearby village of Castelbuono which we loved so much. Breakfast with a beautiful view, weather permitting.
Warm and welcoming hosts, the perfect location for exploring Castelbuono, a sparkling clean room, a great restaurant recommendation and easy parking - everything was perfect for our one night stay. Thank you to Jessica and family for a great B&B experience 😊
beautiful working family farm near Castelbuono. very thoughtful accommodations, lots of hot water, fully stocked kitchen, lovely terrace downstairs for relaxing and eating. it’s a gorgeous area and Giovanna is a wonderful hostess. will definitely come back.
- beautiful location in walking distance to beautiful castelbuono, pretty garden and animals
- even without a car, we could start hiking directly from the house
- super nice owner
- great breakfast with self-made Ricotta :)
- 100 % recommendation
Rosanna and Julianna were very helpful
And friendly. The property was beautiful as described, homemade breakfast 5€ per person was fresh and delicious. Very close to the georgeous town Castelbuono, lots of amazing restaurants and shops.
A beautiful gem in the middle of Castelbuono, plenty of space and quiet at night. Equipped small kitchen and good bathroom. Nice view from The balcony. Very helpful host, she was always trying to give us the most support we needed.
Everything exceeded expectations. Salvatore, the manager was fantastic, extremely helpful, polite; just an all around nice guy & can't say enough good things about him!!! The owner of the hotel is lucky to have him.
Great flat for visiting Castelbuono. Easy check-in and easy parking on the road behind. Flat has all the amenities you need for a couple of nights and close to everything in the city :)
Lovely old building, grounds, good wine. Comfortable and spacious room even though the hotel is on the older side. The quality of the hotel restaurant was a nice surprise as well!
Nice accommodation, excellent location and views! Owners are really friendly and Castelbuono is a charming town. We loved the landscape of the Madonie region and did some hiking.
