Train station is located 4 minutes away, and you xan have an easy commute to the other cities.
The place was comfortable, however I stayed in the economy room. The breakfast was decent. Dont expect too many options, but cakes, eggs, salty snacks are there.

Beautiful garden. Nice proprietors, very helpful. Did not get a chance to eat breakfast there due to early flight.

The management was very accommodating.
The management was very accommodating. They gave us space to snack and visit with our friends and provided us with water. We were blessed and appreciative, especially since we didn’t feel up to going out.
Also, in the morning, the croissants were freshly made for us and the chef was willing to bake another for me if I had the time to wait.
Also, one in our group was ill and the management allowed her to stay longer while the rest of us toured.
VERY accommodating!!!!!!

Close enough to Venice, and decent and reasonably priced restaurants. Almost nothing to do or see, it can be a drag to have to commute to Venice. Not recommended for couples, maybe more a place for families or bigger groups to save some money over staying in Venice.

Quiet residential neighborhood not at all far from central Venice. One bus will take you to one of the main transit hubs and you can walk to all the canals from there. Highly recommended if you're looking for somewhere that's less touristy and more affordable if you're not afraid of figuring out public transit in an unfamiliar city.

A very practical place for a short stay to visit Venice. Cheaper than Venice hotels and very easy to go to Venice - short and cheap trip by train or bus. Nothing particuraly interesting in Marghera itself.

Very convenient for Venice if staying on the island is too...
Very convenient for Venice if staying on the island is too expensive. Trains take you to the centre and seem to be every ten minutes well into the night so you can fully experience the wonders. Marghera has bars and shops too for an early morning coffee. Quieter than Venice too.
We liked the attention of the owner, who was very attentive to our neeed and provided us with exactly information about the best way to reach Venice. The location, that is in a quiet neighborhood, which is comfortable for senior people and is a walkable distance from the train station. Also close there are some supermarkets, there is a bar where you can buy the transport tickets for Venice and the bus stop for going to Venice, to the Piazzale Roma is located like 5 min walking from the hotel. All was pretty good for us.
Everything was perfect. 10 min walking distance from Mestre train station from which olyou can get to Venice in another 10 minutes. Private parking. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. It is kind of hard to beat breakfast quality in Italy, as it is very good very much everywhere. But here it was a level up with many local specialties and very good presentation by Emilia the host. Emilia was excellent and very helpful throughout our stay. If we are back to Venice, would book this B&B again without hesitstion.
The room was clean, towels were replaced everyday and we were given a new bottle of water everyday too. There was a good breakfast spread with lots of choices such as toast, fruit, yoghurts, pastries, cereal and hot drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful, they gave me plasters on two occasions when I asked for them. The location was good - there is a bus stop just a couple minutes walk from the hotel where you can get a bus into Venice. There was also a little shop nearby where you could get bus tickets.
If you are traveling through Italy with your motorbike and want to visit Venice for one or two nights, this hotel is the place to be for you!
+ Secured parking for vehicles. A gate will be opened and closed.
+ Direct Bus connection to Venice (Line 6L) for 1,50€ per drive.
+ Tasty breakfast and a wonderful coffee in the morning
+ The staff really tries to make it a good time for you and your loved ones. They even buy the bus tickets for you.
My recommendation.
The hotel staffs are very polite and helpful. They are always available, and made us understand the way of transportation, etc. I felt that the hotel building was an old residential home with a small garden in front. The location is quite good, near to Venice Mestre Rail station, also Central bus station. Venice is also well connected via bus and the bus stop is in 3-4 minutes walkable distance.
Everything was great! The hotel situated perfectly, 10 min by bus to Venice, better to take bus, because train station is close too, but it took more time of walking, buying ticket etc. The hotel has it’s parking lot, which were important for us, because we were traveling by car. Another important thing is free breakfast, not much, but everything you need! Room is clean and comfortable.
The hotel is almost brand new so everything is very fresh and clean. It is quite a convenient place to stay for exploring Venice if you have a car, plenty of parking space, very close to the autostrada. The only complaint I have is, it wasn’t easy to find the hotel, I had two GPS set, they both got it wrong. The staff though was very friendly and helpful. highly recommended.
Great location, easy to find, really close to the bus station from where we could take the bus towards Venice. The beds were super comfy, rooms were warm and everything was clean. We could also leave our car parked at the hotel's video surveilled parking place (even after check-out). We would like to thank the hotel's staff for being so friendly and helpful!
I appreciated that there was a kettle in the room and that the neighbourhood was very quite in the night.
The tram/bus stop right in front of the hotel is very convenient.
Also, recommend the GiGi restaurant across the street.
Lastly, there was a very nice local market on Saturday nearby, which was a very nice surprise.
I really liked how unique the whole experience was. Not living in a usual hotel building and instead coming into a place like this was awesome. If you come here make sure you're not in your room most of the time, this place really encourages you to stay out and just come back to sleep only. In that regard it's great value
The hotel is clean and the rooms are of fair size.
The hotel is close (walking distance) to a direct bus into Venezia.
There's free parking in front of the hotel and it's also 5' drive from a mall in the city.
The staff was very welcoming and helped us get up and running in out Venezia trip.
I think Hotel Roma deserves 4 stars...
Free parking behind the hotel, excellent room size, very rich breakfast, interesting surroundings for a short walk, pets allowed, close to the bus stop for going to Venice and friendly staff. What more do you need?
For each recommendation.
We have stayed here several times. The hotel is in a great location for getting into and out of Venice. A bus from Piazzale Roma will get you close to the hotel in under 15 minutes. It is very comfortable, and the owners are always very welcoming and accommodating.
We went to the hotel in April 2024. Very good located, quiet area, just 200m to the bus station which brings you to Venice in 10min. Very kind staff at the hotel. Parking directly at the hotel yard. Very clean room and comfy beds.
The hotel is super close to the Mestre Railway Station and other means of transport (bus and tram). It is fairly easy to go to Venice or to Marco Polo airport. Breakfast was very good, a lot of variety. Bed was comfortable.
The front desk staff was kind enough to give me directions to the bus stop on the way to Venice. The room was perfect. The hotel cat was cute. I would like to use this hotel again when I go to Venice.
