Villa Etelka is a 17-th century building with garden and small swimming pool. It is set on the hills of Valverde, 3.1 mi from Aci Castello and 6.2 mi from Catania.
Set right on the sea promenade, La Terrazza is less than 5 minutes’ walk from Aci Castello town center. It features air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor pool and an Italian sweet breakfast.

The view was spectacular and the property was quite lovely. The staff, or rather the family that run the property are also very charming. We will 100% come back.
Located 558 feet from the rocky beach of Cannizzaro, Il Giardino Dei Limoni offers a terrace and a garden. This bed and breakfast features simple rooms with free Wi-Fi.

The room was comfortable and had all we needed. The garden was very cute and the breakfast area was nicely decorated. Communication with host was easy and efficient. He suggested a restaurant to have sea food which was excellent. We overall enjoyed our stay very much. Also, very fast internet
La Castellese enjoys a location in Aci Castello, 29 miles from Isola Bella and 30 miles from Taormina Cable Car – Upper Station.

The size of the room and bathroom were perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was so relaxing and nice to sit on. A one minute walk to the water and to a few delicious restaurants. Even though it is part of someone’s home I felt very comfortable and welcome. My host was also a huge help in figuring out transportation.
Set in the historic center of Aci Castello, 0.6 mi from Acitrezza, Borgo Marinaro features a terrace fitted with tables, chairs and parasols. The beach is 656 feet away.
Providing a garden, Casa Scogliera provides accommodations in Aci Castello. This apartment offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk, and free Wifi. Staff on site can arrange a shuttle...

Locals were rude and often very Arrogant and attempted to overcharge far too many times. They hope you won’t challenge them about it. My advice is , Ask how much before paying and Check your receipts and bills .
The town is scruffy and dirty. The vast amounts of discarded Rubbish on the streets is difficult to ignore. Definitely would not return.
Positive note : The sea view and the sunset is beautiful.

Actually Frasteva is located in the town of Valverde not in Aci Castello, which is a short drive awa. It is more inland than Aci Castello and it is convenient to all of the towns that make up "Paesi Etnei", that is, the little towns on the southeastern slope of Mount Etna, which are suburbs of Catania. It is a great jumping off point for Taormina, Catania and Siracusa and is a twenty-five minute ride to the airport, depending on traffic.
What makes this newly renovated and picturesque venue a perfect stay are the wonderful accomodations and the personal and cheery attention to detail given to all that stay there by its host, Stefania. She is simply an absolute pleasure to interact with. I am going there the next time I return to the Catania area and I assure anyone who stays there that they will not be disappointed.

Aci Trezza is beautiful...the place we stayed in is NOT! It had literally a derelict entrance, with wires dangling from the ceiling, parts of which appeared to be about to give in; filthy place (I was expecting to see rats it was that bad!)....It is NOT close to the beach (although the place had a seaview); I would certainly NOT recommend to anybody! Will most certainly not book again! If I were to rate it honestly I would give a 2/10 and the 2 is only for the seaview!

Very quiet place .. Small but very connected to the sea.
Very quiet place .. Small but very connected to the sea. So fish is staple. It is a bit laid back . Think basic and you will love it.
It is such a shame that the towns coming down to Aci Castello (note that this town is close to sea level) have a lot of garbage scattered around and gives you a very different vibe of this beautiful basic fishing village ..

Aci Castello is a great place to stay if you want to explore the area - the wonderful coastline up to Taormina, the great sights while trekking around Etna, and breathtaking villages like Castiglione di Sicilia.
Aci Castello is smaller and quieter than its walk-to, more touristy neighbour Aci Trezzo, and 'The Sea You Can Feel' is a unique place to stay, perched high above the rocky coastline. There are stunning 360 degree views from the spacious roof terrace, a perfect place to indulge in a sundowner or two, whilst the 'lookout' below has 3 walls of windows for relaxing and taking in the amazing location!
The owners, Giuseppe and Antonella are passionate about Sicily and gave us loads of useful advice.
This apartment is beautifully remodelled and equipped with everything that one may think of. The views from the terrace and the living room are gorgeous. The apartment is very comfortable for two couples since there are two well-separated bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. Everything was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and organised to provide comfort for the guests. The hosts are very nice and communication with them was effortless and effective. They also provided excellent suggestions about restaurants and local attractions.
Sitting on the balcony overlooking the sea was great. The location of the apartment is great. The apartment is located in a cul-de-sac, so it is a very quiet place. At the same time, right in front of the apartment there is a beach and a shop also a few meters away. Bus stop again very close. The owner of the accommodation was very helpful and accommodating. He helped us with transportation from the airport. He was in touch and consulted with everything needed. On departure, he left us for accommodation until late afternoon!
Great location close to the core of AciTrezza, with free parking. Great view of the Costa dei Ciclopi from apartment.
I loved the gas stove. Internet was fine. Friendly and supportive hosts.
Spectacular are the neighbouring towns. AciTrezza itself is a charming fishing village. AciCastello, which can be reached by foot in 20 minutes, has a nice castle and a sea terrace with relaxing cafes. Acireale is a spectacular middle-sized town with a fascinating passegiata and great shopping. Taormina is a 40 minutes ride away.
Thrilled we selected Villa Ortensia and chose to stay outside Catania in Aci Castello. Great location to explore the Mt. Etna region and day-trip to Taormina. From our balcony we enjoyed the sunrise over Ionian Sea each morning. Breakfast was a great assortment of items to kick off the day (yogurt for protein, no meat or cheese). Secured parking on street with gate. Easy walk to several restaurants for evening fare. After driving in Catania and trying to find parking, it's a no brainer to head north to stay and explore!
The best thing is the location and the view from the balcony. If you travel by car in Sicily and want to avoid crowded Taormina or Catania (recommended), Aci Castello is very nice area as a starting point to visit Etna, Taormina and Syracuse. There are some nice and cosy restaurants. Possible free parking is another plus.
All was good, the view from the terrace was nice although I did not expect the road between the hotel and the sea. The sea access was not too great either but the pool is really nice, the breakfast was tasty (although missing savory options) and the private parking was an appreciated benefit.
The garden was amazing, a special beautiful place.
We spent our mornings in the garden with a very good cappuccino and cute 3 little cats.
Clean rooms, clean towels every 2 days. The owner was kind and helpful everytime.
It s near to Aci Castello Castle.
Overall 8,5/10.
Very clean, beautiful place to stay, we'll definitely return there in the future! Such a friendly atmosphere, the host + his family were exceptionally helpful. We had an amazing little break, very handy to get to the beach, nice restaurants and to the airport 👌🏼
The house is very easy to find, on the main road, very good for 1 night stay as well, for Catania Airport, because we traveled over to Palermo next day. Also easy to find parking place next to the house. well worth for this reasonable price, I would recommend!
Totally fabulous location just up from the sea with amazing view ms of Etna, the sea and Catania. The balcony is the best I’ve ever seen and the flat is just perfect. The lady who owns it was so kind and charming. It was like an oasis
The experience Peppe gives: it's not just a B&B, it's like being at home. The view is fantastic, the breakfast various and super tasty, the location is perfect for reaching Catania, Taormina or the Etna.
I'll definitely be back!
Demenico was very kind and caring host. He showed me good place where I can have delicious food for less price and best place where to go to beach. Breakfast was done with love. Also location is amazing and the view is stunning.
We loved the location. Everything about the neighborhood was great. It met our needs perfectly. The recommendations for places to go and things to do were put to good use and very much appreciated.
The place is pretty nice and the host was very helpful in telling us where to dine and where to park our car. No problem on our check-in or stay. It is about 20/25m drive from Catania airport.
The property was perfectly located for those wanting to explore Aci Castello. The room was spotless and the host was extremely friendly and hospitable.Breakfast was amazing.
Fantastic spot to explore Sicily! Close to the water, number of restaurants and an old castle.
Great value, easy contact with the host. Definitely recommending!
