Clean comfortable room. Off street parking. Nice kitchen to make tea. Manager was very accommodating with our late checkin, and even filmed a video to show entry into building/room….great communication.

The apartment was tastefully decorated and felt comfortable. The enclosed terrace was especially nice to have; we could have breakfast outside and enjoy the stars at night.
There was food for breakfast; an Italian breakfast and my brother especially enjoyed the espresso machine. This was especially helpful on our first morning.
The two hosts were very pleasant and felt like family. They were most helpful, when we had to pay for a toll we missed on the way there. Be sure to talk to the rental car people or others to help you understand the autostrada tolls and electronic surveillance. It could save you a lot of grief and lost vacation time.
The apartment was a block from a little piazza, which had a bar, hotel with a good restaurant and a small grocery store. We were living like locals.
Offering garden views, Lemon Tree in Torre Annunziata provides accommodations and a garden. This bed and breakfast features air-conditioned accommodations with a balcony.

We had a huge comfortable space all to ourselves. The patio and gardens were lovely. It was quiet and charming and right in the middle of town. Our host, Elia, could not have been more helpful both online and in person!! A big thank you to him for his gracious kindnesses toward us!!!

Torre Annunziata is a small village, but the people there were great, the village has a beach and cafes, but not, for example, very good shopping opportunities. I recommend Torre Annunzia because it is safer than Naples, and still you can easily get to different places by train. It can't be compared to Sorrento etc in terms of appearance, but I still recommend the place!

The B&B is run by an amazing and very hospitable family. You get a huge unit for a very reasonable price. Beds are big and comfy. Kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped. There is a porch with lemon trees where you can sit. It is easy to get to pompeii from here by train in 30-45minutes.

There’s not much to do in Torre Annunziata itself, but it allows you to experience living in authentic Italy rather than staying in a tourist area, and it’s an ideal location from which to travel to Pompei, Ercolano, Sorrento, Solerno, Napoli, mount vesuvius etc.
We stayed 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our little adventure; travelling on the trains and returning to our quiet village each night.
The houses and streets sometimes look a bit worn, but I believe the government want people to move out of the danger zone and away from the volcano and so are paying incentives for people to leave rather than on the upkeep of the area.
We found a cheap supermarket - good value food but awful wine), and a more average one that was a little dearer but the wine was much better!
Car drivers in Italy are aggressive compared to uk, they see a gap and go for it, little hesitance, and don’t stop for pedestrians unless you have confidently stepped out onto a crossing.
The people there were very friendly (even though we don’t speak Italian).
Travel to other towns and landmarks was very easy and cheap by the 2 main train lines (very frequent too).
The weather (Mid April) was both rainy (17 degrees) some days and very sunny (20-21 degrees) the rest.
If you want to visit nearby Vesuvius book online weeks ahead. If you want to visit Pompei or Ercolano, a rainier day is actually quieter which makes it much easier to get round.
Italy made it illegal for residents to give up their pets, so there are a lot of abandoned cats and dogs - all harmless, but it was sad to see.

I have family in Torre Annunziata so don’t visit as a holiday. Not really a tourist resort but if you’re on a budget, it’s a good base to get to the Amalfi coast, albeit by train and bus. Very close to Pompeii and Herculaneum, Naples and Sorrento.
Eating out options not great, mainly take away pizza. However if you book into one of the ever increasing number of holiday homes, you will be spoilt for choice of fresh food .

Definitely not a tourists place.
Definitely not a tourists place.
No english menus in the restaurants and people barely understand english words.
Generally people were rude and very unpolite.
The beach was very dirty - plastic bags and tissues all over the place.
Pricey and poor customer service.

The area is a “typical old Italian town” with quaint narrow streets and everyone is so very friendly. Driving was very easy as everyone seems to make allowances for the “UK” car! We did not eat out but there are several “take aways” on doorstep. Shops selling good fresh food on doorstep and open long hours

This B+B is a lovely garden oasis in the heart of Torre Annunziata. My rooms were large, light and very clean. The garden courtyard is particularly nice, with fruiting citrus trees and private dining areas for guests. Breakfast options are very generous, and the hosts were able to accommodate a gluten-free diet. Bruna and Aldo are wonderful hosts, ready with neighborhood tips and recommendations. Thank you for a lovely stay, I will be back! :)
+ Very nice hosts and really clean accommodation.
+ Close to both train stations in Torre Annunziata (Trenitalia & Circumvesuviana).
+ Peaceful, silent rooms with great air-conditioner.
+ The common kitchen is a great place for spending some time together.
+ Complementary small treatments in the rooms are a really nice gesture.
+ Although we did not use parking, this is a big plus to the accommodation.
Lovely hotel, very, very clean. Room was huge. Well presented. Right on a roundabout but couldn’t hear any noise - good insulation. Great restaurant, excellent serving sizes and not expensive. Good location with restaurants, cafes and supermarkets all within about 200m. Verandah was huge and I would only suggest the hosts perhaps put a little table and chair out there for sitting.
The Vesuviano train station is five minutes walk away taking you to Pompeii and through to Naples in one direction, and Sorrento in the other. A ten minute walk to the main shopping street of Torre Annunziata. Beach area within twenty minutes walk. Amelia the host is friendly and accommodating. Fully equipped kitchen so you don’t need to rely on eating out.
The hosts are very kind and helpful. They picked us from the station to the hotel and offered to drop us to every tourist destination that was in our itinerary. On the last day, we wanted to have breakfast outside, which also they offered to us at Bar degli Amici (very good coffee!). Highly recommended hotel!
The Wi-Fi was really fast. I had poor coverage the entire trip. Wi-Fi in the apartment helped me in many situations (for example, booking trips). The advantages also include two comfortable beds. Every station in Torre Annunziata is 10-15 minutes on foot from the apartment. The host is nice and helpful
Maria the owner is amazing. she treats you like a special guest and is amazing. she is so helpful. the rooms are very nice and spacious. the apartment has everything you need including fantastic hospitality. it is close to 3 train stations: Torre Annunziata, Villa Regina and Pompeii Scavi.
The garden, the fully equipped kitchen, the home decor, the quality of the home rehabilitation.
The neighborhood is chilled. Torre Annunziata is at a very comfortable distance from Napoli, Sorrento, Pompeu and Costa Amalfitana, if you have a car.
The staff was helpful and nice. It was easy to contact them and ask help. Also the room was really clean and lovely. The location was really good too. Generally, all the people we met in Torre Annunziata were amazing!
This is a typical small old Italian villa with a magnificent garden and impeccable hospitality. Very convenient to get to Pompeii, Naples or Sorrento. In addition, there is an attraction near the hotel.
Great experience in B&B Matida. The owner is very kind and helpful, he gave me the best advice on where to eat and what to do. Excellent central location in Torre Annunziata.
Thank you!
