Perfect location for walking around old town. Lovely hosts, helped with luggage, parking and allowed an early ck-in.
The place has a 3 tall steps to the door and a set of stairs to 1st floor. Balcony from living room-bedroom. Also small balcony from 2nd bedroom with wire to hang clothing. Washing machine in a small laundry room. Kitchen door opens to mini balcony. Small, but has all necessary items for cooking. The town is small and easy to walk...flat...has couple of beautiful panoramic view areas. Lots of interesting ceramics. Highly recommended

Very friendly owner, helpful. We felt welcome in San Stefano
Perfect place if you like a smaller and less expensive venue...
Perfect place if you like a smaller and less expensive venue to CEFALU. Also good for ceramic enthusiasts and local culture. We went to beach at Tusa Lungomare est (10 min drive) since local beach road was closed and it was not very pretty there. You can pay for beach chair and umbrella rental for half day (15-20 EU)

Town itself very interesting but not really worth staying...
Town itself very interesting but not really worth staying there for long
Very many pottery shops but all with similar products
Probably best 'passing through ' the town with just a visit of a few hours rather then staying overnight

The apartment was very roomy, comfortable and clean. There were three balconies that we could use for fresh air. The location was excellent. The WiFi was free. We were only a couple short blocks from the Piazza Duomo, which is the church at the very center of the old part of town. From there it was a short distance to the plaza that overlooked the Tyrrhenian Sea where we watched the sunset. Santo Stefano di Camastra is known for its ceramics and it was easy to walk around to a variety of shops.
It seemed that we were the only guests at this day. The owner was very nice and the check in was quick and easy. The room on the 4th floor was nice and clean and had a very nice view. In the morning we were surprised that no one else was in the breakfast room but there was one table prepared for us with the main breakfast ingridients. And the cappuccino was delivious. The village next to the Hotel is very nice with a lot of ceramic artists.
The apartment was large - a kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom (built inside the bedroom), and a living room with a very large library. There was an extensive toiletry selection - shampoo, soap, shine shine, shave kit, sewing kit. The kitchen was well stocked. An excellent selection of information about Santo Stefano di Camastra for dining, etc. The heater worked well. Good shower pressure and plenty of hot water. The location was excellent!
A good alternative if you want to visit the city of Cefalù. The train station is just 10 min walk and Cefalù is 30 min by train. Breakfast starts at 4:30 and it's in nearby cafe owned by hotel owners. The town itself looks good as well, many nice bars with good prices. If you stay in this town don't miss "Palmen Promenade", it's a good place to have a drink and watch the sunset.
