Large room , office setting for two, bathroom, cleanliness. The view was wonderful. Near walking distance to two malls eating areas taxi etc, safe. Someone told me I could have walked to downtown and I laughed. But I think one can walk to downtown if one uses shortcuts because on my way to the airport I saw the bank we used while downtown. Location is excellent.

Nairobi, is a great place to visit. You should have a plan when you go as there is so much to do in this area of the country. Besides the safari, there are the tours to the mountain and farm region of the country and you need time to visit. We did the bus ride and came back to Nairobi each night, which is fine just make sure you give yourself some a day break once in a while.

Nairobi offers an exciting blend of adventure, culture, and urban charm. The city is a gateway to thrilling wildlife experiences, with the Nairobi National Park providing a rare opportunity to see, giraffes, and rhinos against a backdrop of skyscrapers. The Giraffe Centre allow for intimate encounters with giraffes. Nairobi's rich cultural heritage is showcased in attractions like the Karen Blixen Museum and the Nairobi National Museum. The bustling Maasai Market is perfect for shopping for local crafts and souvenirs. Culinary delights abound, from street food stalls to high-end restaurants offering both local and international cuisine. Despite its busy urban environment, Nairobi has serene spots like the Karura Forest for nature walks and picnics but was flooded during my visit. The city's vibrant nightlife, friendly locals, and mix of traditional and modern experiences make Nairobi a captivating destination for any traveler. Be extra cautious of your safety and belongings while travelling, lurking danger of thefts always.

Buzzing city with a lot of restaurants, bars and social places. Easy modes of transport. Highway has made it wonderful to go from airport to town and vice versa. Lots of greenery and access to game lodges and parks. Lots of high rise buildings too which is not so nice.

loved Nairobi elephant orphanage and giraffe Centre a must - we also saw Bomas of Kenya and some museums. Also visited a tea farm which was a great relaxing day. Restaurants we visited were very nice. People very friendly - easiest way to get around is make sure you have uber app although be careful of them trying to hike price up when they realize you are tourists. Try not to arrange visits for peak travel time as roads are extreamly busy and can be scary. Also if there it is an absolute must to book safari.

I like that there are small privately owned shops and street hawkers. I prefer shopping at individual stalls as opposed to a department store. The food at The Olive Restaurant is a good value. I'd love to look around Simlaw Seeds; I used to have a farm and will return to farming.
The Fairview provides an excellent balance between a central location and the sense of being in a protected, green refuge. Everything about the hotel is top-notch, including well-judged and comprehensive updates that enhance the colonial structure. One feels the efficiency of a city hotel as well as the comfort of a resort. Fine food (by far the best croissants I had in Kenya; wonderful broccoli soup), high speed wifi, a truly obliging staff who, for example, efficiently organized both the covid test and printing of results.
Second time at the hotel and it was amazing to be welcomed by so many monkeys. The security guys are super nice and kind, Sheila was there to welcome us and it felt like we have known her for a while even though we have never met her.
Internet was working better compared to the first stay.
The team at the restaurant was great, delicious food and great ambience . The garlic fries were really tasty and full of flavor.
Basically Nairobi is our stop over as we enjoy our holiday around Kenya and Westwood is our home.
Thank you all.
Ace Suites Apartments is situated on a very charming and safe residential street in Westlands: You can hear the birds sing and enjoy peace and quiet at the pool -- although being almost in til center of Nairobi!
The host Linda replied right away, and she was accommodating when we had questions or wishes.
We would gladly come again and we recommend Ace Suites Apartments to everyone wanting to live near downtown Nairobi and live in a safe and well-guarded compound.
This was a home away from home.
Traveling solo all the way from Japan, this place gave me the feeling of home and I get to rest so well. This place was secure, safe, warm, calm, relaxed. I felt like I have spent so much more time than I actually stayed.
Super convenient to get to main area of the city such as Westlands, but distant enough to rest yourself from the noise.
A perfect sized room for 1-2. Nice little flower in the room was cute:)
Situated between the city centre and Westlands, so very central for most places. It had a large carpark with security and staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. When we checked into our room it was facing the toll booth so we asked to be moved due to the noise all night and then we had a garden facing room which was much better (room numbers 1-16). There’s no lift so if you have trouble with stairs ask for a room on the 2nd floor.
Westlands is one of the best areas in Nairobi; accommodation is near the Sarit Centre for first-class shopping, Super-Market, and always visit the News Cafe first floor special offering half-price breakfast before ten AM. The third floor has a food court and rooftop bars. Another gem for meetings is the Jacaranda Hotel, opposite the Sait Centre. Accommodation amazing value, highly recommended.
The hotel is in a quiet location in Westlands/ Nairobi.
The reception staff are friendly and provide any requirements needed. They are also very welcoming. The breakfast prepared by Caleb Walucho and quite great with a variety of choice. The barman Mvovi and Bryan
provides excellent service. Not forgetting good room service.
Really great friendly hotel, perfect location to explore nairobi if you like to go to the shops.
Good food. Nice if you are a lone traveller, feels safe.
Can be noisy but I enjoy that, to be part of real Nairobi. If you want to be in Kenya come to Hotel Decasa. You will immediately feel you have arrived.
A fantastic welcome to Kenya. We had a day in Nairobi before starting our Safari. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. They arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport and then take us on a day tour of Nairobi the next morning.
The rooms were excellent, very comfortable beds.
The receptionist helped me arrange a transfer from the airport late in the evening when the taxi I had booked let me down.
It was easy to walk into the CBD and to the National Museum from the hotel.
Strong WiFi.
Dinners in the restaurant were delicious.
The receptionists, chefs and security guards were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is also quite good - CBD and Westlands are both very close. The hotel is also very clean and there are great views of the city from the balconies.
The hotel was located close to where I had to be, that's why I chose it. It is in the Westlands of Nairobi and therefore in a very good and rather safe area. pleant of restaurants and malls nearby, easily reached by Uber. Staff is not overbearing
It's in the heart of the city nairobi.bustling and crowded area. If u are looking for a real budget hotel, then this is it. Nairobi national museum is only 1.1 km away, masai market is 1.3 km away from the hotel.
We enjoyed our stay and everything was exactly as shown. Also, I would like to personally thank Margaret who was organizing for us transport around Nairobi and to the Airport. She was the best!
The location of the hotel is excellent close to the city and also in the middle of Westlands very convenient for connections to the airport once the Mombasa road and the highway is completed.
The room size is great and with a nice balcony. Location is within Westlands but with Nairobi traffic it’s horrible moving via car during certain times of the day
I enjoyed my stay and the host was very professional and responsive.i loved the view of westlands and I will definitely book again when am back in Nairobi
