Really nice location. Very Long sandy Beach . Huge pool, Delicious food and friendly staff. Comfortable room with free WIFI and safe parking.

Location was very nice with mind relaxing beach. Breakfast was not so nice but not bad.

Ambalamgodas is near Galle so you can visit the famous beaches. It's most famous for the wooden masks. I like a pizza place called Ceylon Pizza. Very tasty and you can also take it away! A small village with an unforgettable local flavor. The fruit and fish market always works, even on weekends. Ambalangoda has everything you need, pharmacies, supermarkets, banks and currency exchanges. And the most important thing is the large uninhabited beaches.

Ambalangoda is famous for its devil masks, a beautiful seaside village with a few minutes drive to Galle and Hikkaduwa, Bentota, . Turtle hatchery ,museums , temples, river boat , snorkelling, lots of tours. Local food and resteraunts fantastic, tuk tuk, bus or van hire easy and cheap. Locals are beautiful and eager to please and assist. We felt very safe everywhere!Viv ShepAustralia

The place is DIRECTLY at the beach with direct access, sunbeds and a shower outside (besides of the bathroom in the room). The bus stop is 40m from the door and to get to the city centre it’s 1km on foot. The room (102) was big, with AC and a balcony with a sea view. The owner was extremely nice but apparently we were his first guests. Although we left the room at midday he let us stay longer with no additional charge. Breakfast was punctual and tasty.

Staff was extremely helpful and proactive. Aircon worked very well. Friendly, intimate feel to the place. The management and staff tried to meet all our requests sincerely. Food was well presented and did not cause any stomach issues. The masseuse at the spa was excellent, though the room itself could be better. All Covid protocols are being followed.

Also had two lovely dogs Shane and Fred! Had us feeling the local lifestyle!
