Let me first say that Monika and Viraj are spectacular hosts. The beautiful river view villa is in an unbeatable location nested on the Bentota River bank.
The Villa gives you access to all of the hotspots in both Bentota and Aluthgama. It is also ideally located right beside the highway which provides access to the rest of Sri Lanka such as Galle, Colombo, etc.
I found our hosts to be incredibly hospitable and attentive, we felt at home the moment we stepped in. We would recommend this place to anyone passing by the region!

The pool was probably the cleanest I have swum in. The design of the Villa, the attention to detail and comfort was fantastic. The staff kept the Villa exceptionally clean and they organised massages and river boat trips for us. They were discreet but attentive. I would highly recommended this Villa to anyone who enjoys, great food, the simple luxuries of life, comfortable surroundings and friendly staff.

Susanna is a wonderfull host who goes the extra mile for her guests such as helping with a Safari boat trip (which only 200 meters from the accomodation), complementary snacks and a home made limoncello after dinner. The self cooked dinner as the breakfast was top notch and we've had the best coffee. The pool and rooms (with inside and outside shower) were really nice.

I had a little accident with a rental Tuktuk and the staff got out of their way to help us organize everything and we had to do nothing. Also the rooms are wonderful and the activities are so much fun with a reasonable price. If you are near, definetely go to Malu Banna! Everything was perfect!
