Nice room in quiet neighborhood.

The location was close to the airport which was convenient for us based on our flight times. At the same time, it wasn't very noisy either and the place was quite accessible by public transport even though it was in the outskirts.

I loved the hotel. It looked new and well kept. Rooms are spacious and clean with a very modern shower. The included buffet breakfast was awesome…plenty of different foods and drinks in a very comfortable dining room, also very spacious. The staff working the breakfast are incredibly welcoming and attentive while not expecting to be tipped (I tipped a couple of euros every day, if you tip like in the US they might get offended) The concierge, forgot her name, but this nice Italian accent lady, helped us book a trip to the blue lagoon in no time (I had been unsuccessful booking them, they were all sold out) and gave us a great location to watch the sunset on the west coast of Malta. I loved the hotel, the staff, the location and the Country!! Highly recommend to everyone but for families it is awesome. There’s a pool club called Aqualuna that is super nice as well!! It is across the street from the hotel and the pool is shared by 3 hotels. There are amazing staff but it gets crowded fast, so go early. My son, 11, had a blast in the pool for a couple of hours while me an my wife enjoyed some appetizers on a table right on the water, on the bay with the citadel fort on the other side of the bay!! I don’t write reviews… I really don’t, only if my experience is terrible or great!! This place deserves a great review!! Not one single person was mean to us! The price from restaurants to hotels is great as well. My family and I had a great time and the memories of Malta will be with us forever… Thank you Azur Hotel for making our stay in your lovely country a great one!! Ohhh… one more thing… I don’t work for this hotel..I work for the County of San Diego in California (I always wonder when I read great review haha) Hope you enjoy the place like we did. Everything was amazing! The hotel, the amenities and the employees were all fantastic!

We ate every evening in the Orvm & Piano Bar Lounge restaurant.

Room was comfortable but could do with some draws/additional clothes storage. There were a couple of shelves and hanging space. Not really enough for a one week stay. Room cleaning was hit and miss, some days they didn't arrive until late afternoon when we were having a siesta so some days we told them not to bother. No drama though. We were on the 6th floor with a sea view. The road is a little noisy but worth it for the view. Could sit there all day watching the world go by. Once the patio doors were closed you couldn't hear the road. Location was good for the ferry to Valletta. Bus stop right outside the hotel which we used a few times. Easy to get around. Breakfast was good, busy but always managed to get a clean table. Staff lovely.

Many bus routes nearby, beach in 10 minutes walking. Bright modern reception. Tasty breakfasts. Room quite spacious, there was no noise from outside.

The staff, the location, the room

The location was great and the staff was very nice. It was a beautiful hotel! I highly recommend!! If I ever come back to Malta, this hotel will be the first one I try to book. I also felt all the food was very reasonably priced. Overall, very good value for money!!! I loved Verdi.
