Great weather, in the centre of town there are several Mexican food restaurants and not Mexican restaurants. There is a great craft market and a few museums and gardens, all within walking distance. Cuernavaca is also a good starting point for other truly Mexican towns, like Taxco or Malinalco.

The Brady Museum was nice...very nicely designed spaces on a hill...by the Franciscan monks initially. By the valley of the creek road, there is a guy with 3 vintage cars, 1941, 1951, 1959...american cars, a Hudson, a Chrysler, a Ford--also, the guy is next to his son..the Aquarium and fish store..he has wonderful rock jewelry made of jade, amethyst, quartz, local basalt...the main cathedral is worth a look...also a great bird sanctuary only open on Sundays..big bazaar on Sunday Afternoon but Brady is closed on Mondays.

Cuernavaca is the always sunny destination in Mexico.
Cuernavaca is the always sunny destination in Mexico. Incredibly convenient if you are in Mexico City. It has an abundance of water which makes it ideal if you want to swim, warm baths, or enjoying a jacuzzi. I would say the hospitality of Mexicans is warm and top level.

Almost all of the city's major sites are shutdown.
Almost all of the city's major sites are shutdown. I cannot blame a town for taking COVID precautions, but overall there is no real tourism in this place anymore. Without the few museums open, this place is extremely missable, better to head to Tepoztlan instead.

Not too small town with beautiful old architecture and that authentic atmosphere of Mexico I was looking for. There are a lot of great restaurants hiding in monasteries, yards, and gardens with awesome cuisine and not expensive. A lot of bars and parties with cumbia and lemon beer you can find easily. Also, you can find good hospitals for medical checks or some procedures you may need.
The breakfast was really good, traditional Mexican style breakfast. There were no American or Continental options - just very good mexican breakfast. Especially Sunday morning it was an amazing array of choices from pancita (tripe soup) and pozole (hominy) to quesadillas made at the moment.
The pool seems to be the main attraction of the hotel and the kids loved it. There is a nice little Palaba next to it where parents can sit and enjoy a book or a beer while the kids play.
Everything was fantastic. I went there with my family, and my mum wears a wheelchair; she never goes out on a trip because she usually struggles too much. Most of her experiences were traumatic, but this hotel and its staff were so friendly and helpful that it was a pleasant experience for the whole family.
I can’t thank enough all of the staff and especially Jorge, who went above and beyond to make of our experience a perfect one.
The hotel is a lovely and the staff delightful. It is a very good option, especially if price is a consideration. The breakfasts are hearty and welcoming in the patio. The room was extremely large and airy. The Robert Brady Museum is just across the street (something not to be missed in Cuernavaca in terms of taste and elegance). The bar makes the best cappuccino (and they bring it to the room)! Would definitely stay there again!
The hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The room was really nice and breakfast buffet also was very nice. Everything well sanitised.
The lunch at the pool restaurant was the only not nice thing : it was slow and not good quality, it was just a sandwich with french fries but the quality was really low. We were very surprised.
The pool had a good temperature for our one-year-old to enjoy. The staff was exceptional, the hotel is perfectly clean and the food is great. I am especially grateful with the staff because I forgot my wedding rings in the room and they kept them safe until a family member was able to pick them up.
The best is the location, in the center of Cuernavaca. Also I liked its personnel, especially Margarita Gomez at the kitchen very efficient and extremely courteous, also her staff…kudos to Margarita, Jennifer and other. Also people at the reception.
a lovely stay everything went smoothly. i found the food in the restaurant particularly good and well priced. well situated in cuernavaca in a quiet and flowery area. the highlight of my stay was the swimming pool which was delighfully warm.
This was the second time I stayed at the hotel. As before, the service was professional and extremely friendly. I really like the pool area to relax. The hotel is very quiet and a 10 mins walk from the down town area. I will stay again.
A good location about 10 minutes walk to the Zocalo and only 2 blocks from the Pullman de Morelos bus station. There are good cafes and a bar near there. Nice people, a good little covered porch-terrace for the room, and a swimming pool.
the location and price were perfect for my needs as a spot to spend the night en route from Mexico City. The room was big and comfy, hot water in the shower, and the staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating.
Good breakfast and the breakfast environment is really good. The hotel is just in the old town Cuernavaca, and is easy to walk to the center park. The staff will help you to park the car, and the location is easy to find.
Beautiful hotel with a super friendly, engaged, and responsive staff. Big, stylish, comfortable rooms. Great pool. Good food. Great location in Cuernavaca, just a short walk to the zocalo and the Museo Robert Brady.
The location was great, but the hotel staff was giving pretty much all their attention towards the new year dinner instead of the guests. The room was very clean, except for the jacuzzi. I have to clean it myself.
The hotel itself is very pretty, has big gardens and very beautiful views, the hotel staff is generally nice and the facilities seems to have been recently upgraded.
The little hotel is on a quiet street, nice garden, fair sized pool. The restaurant area is part outside on the terrace, shaded and cool, with a beautiful old tree.
