the way the city sits on the mountain is fantastically beautiful. It's all white buildings, very charming. The town itself is interesting to visit for an afternoon, or a day. The streets are very crowded with cars and there is a lot of exhaust, there are also souvenir and silver shops everywhere, so it felt extremely crowded and touristy. great church and zocalo, worth visiting for a day. I don't think you need more time than that. Also the caves on the outside of town the Grutas de Taxco are fantastic and totally worth a visit.

Beautiful tourist town.
Beautiful tourist town. All the businesses of the town were accommodating to non-Spanish speakers, and many shop employees spoke at least a little English. There were many people in the town square who wanted to "guide" us to various things with the expectation that we would tip them, but we were able to say "no" without reprisal. Many soldiers and Federal police officers were on patrol in the town which proved to be good for keeping the populace safer. Prices of souvenirs, food, alcohol, taxis, and hotels was very reasonable.

The town reminded me of Spain...charming, rustic, and with an old-world air. Loved the town. Wish I could have stayed longer than two nights and seen more. I hope to return one day. It is now a favorite town in Mexico.
Beautiful colonial town. Exceptional architecture. The ones with some money or with big money, trying to cash in more and more on mass tourism, national and international, building 2 and 3 more 3 floors for renters on top of old colonial houses and hotels. Height of these constructions not so impressive from street level, but scary, considering earthquakes, when seem from bottom of hill.

The location is excellent. It is just a few minutes from the center to visit the Cathedral, market, churches, etc.
The room is spacious for 2 people and clean. The top roof view is amazing. The hot water works perfectly fine. The bed is comfortable.
Many restaurants are nearby.
Free parking for us, but it is in a different location.
The reception is nice and friendly.
The hotel has great decorations and architecture.
Wifi connection is stable.
Very nice hotel complex in the middle of the town with swimming pool. Even though it was big enough, it did not feel oppressive, and the building is not just one big block and rather a labyrinth of wings and old buildings which makes it charm. Parking was no problem despite of the steep hills, the valet will help you if needed.
Breakfast is served on the rooftop with an excellent view over the town.
The man who runs the hotel is extremely friendly and goes out of his way to be helpful. The location is excellent. I could always find my way back to the hotel, often without trying, I would find myself in front of it. It is also extremely clean. It has a fresh smell of soap at all times. They are constantly maintaining the total cleanliness of the hotel. My room was spotless.
The view was outstanding. The facility was old and roomy and historic, a negative to some reviewers, but a bonus to me.This city maintains a frenzied traffic flow and the location and size of the hotel grounds make it a nice, quiet escape. The staff was efficient, attentive, and professional..
One of my favourite hotels in Mexico.
This hotel is beautiful and perfectly located.
Rooms were clean, spacious and the views from the roof might be the best in the town.
The pool is beautiful as well and the restaurant food is also great. Can not fault. Just stunning
From day one that we step on the hotel, the recepionist and the rest of the employees were so polite. Good customer care, hotel was wooww. Room service everyday. If i was to visit taxco 100 times again, I would choose this hotel 100 times. You feel the charming welcome.
The room we had was very nice. It had a balcony that overlooked the pool and courtyard where there were birds including a peacock roaming around. We also had a view of the cathedral. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious.
we didn’t except the hotel to be so nice for such a price. Amazing friendly stuff, always available and helpful. thanks Ruben for being so nice to us! very clean and cozy room, and amazing view on the town and the mountains from the balcony.
The location is perfect. Every morning, fresh breakfast at the market. View from the Terrasse is great, hotel staff very friendly. I stayed 3 nights. Loved taxco. Enjoy this special town. :)
