The room is stunning with a big bathtub to make use of (headsup, the bathtub is in the middle of the room with no partition, so if you travel with friends know what to expect - the shower is closed off/private though), the be is comfy, the water in the shower is hot, the wifi works fine, the aircon works well, the view is... okay haha but the central location makes up for it! Right next to the food district

The staff went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. We were having ongoing medical work that required extending our stay several times, & they rearranged their other guests so we could stay in the same room. Once when they were full & we were thinking that we'd have to leave, they got a last-minute cancellation & gave it to us, pushing us to the head of their queue. The breakfast caters to the locals, but they also have lots of western dishes (eggs, omelets, fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, even bread pudding).

The service from the staff was really great! they were helpful, nice, and friendly. I also liked the location of the hotel - it's right in the middle of the city, and it was near to many places around in KK itself.

The room is quite spacious and comfortable, and since I am alone, the open bathroom concept is nice, but maybe not very suitable is I'm with family or friends. The view of the sea was also breathtaking and you can see the sunset from your room. There's also few convenient shops nearby. Breakfast selection was great and the view from the restaurant was beautiful.

Kota Kinabalu (KK) is the capital of the East Malaysian state of Sabah on the island of Borneo. It features white-sand beaches, tropical rainforests and the outer lying coral reefs and islands of the Tunku Abdul Rahman (TAR) Marine Park, a haven for scuba divers.

Occupied by the Japanese and heavily bombed during World War II by the British, some remnants of this colonial era remain in the Atkinson Clock Tower and Signal Hill Observatory, with its sweeping view of the coast.

    There are many interesting places to visit for example the Medical Science Musuem, Aquarium and Art Gallery located in University Sabah Campus. The Filipino market nice souvenir items but you will need to bargain. For seafood lovers, this is a fantastic place to satisfy your cravings. Island hopping is also great. Good idea to bring along your own pre-packed food and drinks unless you do not need to budget expenses. Just people watching whilst enjoying a cool drink is also an eye opener. There are many differences with what prevails in West M'sia. I also loved the fact that the airport was just about 20 minutes drive away from the hotel - so convenient and time (cost) saving

    Seafood here is fresh and delicious. Ferry to island hopping was chaotic and long queue. Can improve. When at the jetty waiting for boats, had no system and just hoping hard that the pic will find you

    Love the majestic beauty of Mount Kinabalu which is visible throughout most of our journey to Kundasang & Kota Kinabalu. Sabah is a peaceful and friendly state, blessed with a natural, beautiful landscape and abundant resources including food. We love the fresh seafood served at Todak Waterfront Hawker Centre as well as the local fruits at Kundasang (must try the avocado cheese fruit & buah cinta). The cool climate at Kundasang is a welcome change from the hot & humid climate around the region.

    I travel often to Kota Kinabalu for work and vacation. Main city is somewhat walkable and a lot of nice places to visit whether it's water sports or just hiking is small part of nature. This city has it. A car is needed to travel the high parts of city and the beautiful beaches.
