The grounds are beautiful and perfectly located. We took “taxis” into town for about $5 usd. The pool is beautiful and rooms are very comfortable. Highly recommend this little gem!

Nice large rooms, relatively big pool with nice covered sitting area. Problems with internet, no hot water for the shower, very basic breakfast. A couple of scooters are available for rental.

Extremely convenient location, good proximity to bus stop, ferry, and restaurants. Seemed fairly well maintained, though not all rooms had AC despite the presence of AC units. Staff were friendly and helpful when the water went out in all of Moyogalpa—they swiftly set us up in another hostel that had extra water reserves.

Daniella and Tony were the loveliest hosts. They went out of their way to ensure that I had a comfortable stay and was well taken care of. I appreciate the care and concern they showed and the great talks we had. Their place is just perfectly rustic and charming. It is by the lake and has great views. Do bring a flashlight or torch for the walk to/from town at night. It gets pretty dark.

    Was a nice quiet island to relax and clime a vulkanisch Mountain when you like. We did a motorcycle tour. Renting one or a scooter is very affordable and the scenery is very nice. Very great food at the lakefront at Julia’s, almost opposite of ecolodge chiponge The Italian restaurant in the village on the walking street, without traffic, was great too , especially the pizza

    We arrived at the end of the busy season (April 1st) which was nice, but it was hot, water had dried up, and many of the "tours" were not worth the time or money. The people were great! The food was awesome! And we loved exploring the island on our scooter. Definitely recommend Cafe Campestre! The pasta was OUTSTANDING and the people were fantastic. We didn't get a good-vibe from Chocolate Paradise - walked in - many people - nobody acknowledged our existence - so we left

    not much to do except the closest place to stay i going to...

    not much to do except the closest place to stay i going to enjoy ometepe if you want to be by the ferry terminal. Not many good places to eat. one supermarket and not much of a nightlife but nice small town

    Absolutely the best place I visited the entire year of 2024. The staff was just absolutely perfect. A day before arriving. I had a motorcycle accident. Very painful. Fractured foot and wounds on arm and leg. The hotell staff helped me so very much to heal. Way beyond my expectations. So much kindness.

    It is a cute property close to Moyogalpa - you can walk over a remote street along the lake or we had an ATV rented. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was especially a highlight!
